Have a question if you dnt mind.
My w5 pro is stuck on some kind of lock loop. When i screw it closed the red/green light flashes. Then green stays on. The light flashes then then green flickers and repeats. If i do the 4 click unlock it does a slow strobe between high and low beam a couple times then turns off. I cant get it to stay as a beam. Do you know why that is please? Its 2 days old
With the right kind of jig, these LEPs are fantastic search tools.
For every other type of search light the large reflective types like the K75 are a more viable option.
Superb review, night shots and as usual a beautiful musical score F.
👍
I dont get this, how can a lep be a great search tool. I cant actually see anything really at 1-3km. I mean if it was mounted to a telescope or something maybe. It just seems they are like a laser pointer for outside.
They are not for typical use.
Mounted to a binocular or telescope they could help in a search, but for the naked eye, handheld and at closer range not so much.
Great for emulating Luke Skywalker might be another use or impressing the none light public.
Wow, crazy long ranger, and the diffuser makes it all the more useful.
Thanks for the discount code.
Utterly incredible. Off the scale amazing. Your reviews, I mean. I've never thought I could enter alpha mediative state on a flashlight review, but it happens every single time.
Simply genius! (1%) And a ton of work (rest 99). Well done!
What's even more impressive is that the little NEXTORCH L10 MAX also hit the college! 1800 meters+
Another awesome review! I love my W35. I really want this though...very cool! Someday I hope to test this and w35 next to each other for fun.
Nice review.
I think the ACEBEAM W35 seems more functional with the flood/diffused modes & how it steps up without needing an extra part.
I like how you put a camera up by the building you are flashing this time. That's pretty cool
The wife!
Yeah, really, that's a phenomenal idea, love it!
It is and it isn't. Light is making a round trip for the person at the end of the flashlight to be able to see the light, therefore less bright than what's seen on the receiving end. Fun for a video, but it's not really that helpful for what the user sees.
I want to see what this looks like from the vantage point of the hospital or similar distance, looking back toward the light.
great demo, really like how tight the xsword is tho, i cant believe a noisy car came every time you got a light out on the 400 meter tests, i live in a very remote place where other humans cant spoil what i do, keep up the good work
I love how you do these comparisons. The hyper "professional reviews" just love to shine their lights at bedroom walls. Whoopee.
Yup! I've stopped watching most of them. Some just sit at a table.
It ain't a proper review unless you interrupt a couple bang sessions... You didn't know that? ;)
Amazing... The W3 pro tac has the most spill for a lep light. Beautiful Light. Weltool is top Quality Brand!
Such a great intro
Gonna probe me some Aliens!!! #payback
Great review 🤩
I have no doubt the Weltool W5 is well made but my Maxtoch Owleyes W Pro satisfies my need for 'ultimate' LEP light. That thing is just nuts.
Great stuff 👌
I picked this one up…as far as leps go it’s pretty sweet. Careful not to look or even breathe near that acrylic lens though….scratch magnet.
Fun light, out of my league though. Great work, as always. BTW the diffuser has been on backorder for the past 6 months...
Shame, its a really good cost-effective product.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TVBought a Lumintop Thor 3 in the spring, at a steal price
I think LEP's are neat but I'm not sure what I'd do with one. Would be fun to own though.
Very very expensive fun. Get a new hobby.
This one is almost practical thought because of the lumens.
It's useful in heavy fog or underwater because there is no spill.
Agree, functionality for my purposes is out the door. It’s a laser as far as I’m concerned.
They are expensive items without a warranty if they break because of a manufacturing defect.
Gotta have some spill or else you’ve just got a laser pointer with a hotspot depending on the head size 😝
Mantap...!!!
Have you ever tried the Thor 3. for the price I think it’s a great little light.
yea i still dont have an LEP flashlight yet but i will one day
I really liked the comparison with the K75!
Is the green spill of the W5 Pro an issue or do you not notice it in practice?
What's your favorite LEP at the moment?
The W5 is green on the low mode but looks neutral on high. The Maxtoch is my fave as it zooms.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Acebeam has introduced the new W35 with an adjustable laser spot from very wide to narrow focus. I like this innovation, but it has less lumens and candela than the W5 Pro
@jonasjuggler no reason why a small refector LED can't be put at the side of the head
Its so cute
:/
Whats a good LEP Flashlight in price/power? Want to buy me one for fun and just to have one in my flashlight collection. Price range max 200bucks. Whats about the lumintop Thor 3?
The Skyrim music 😂
The 990 lumens of the Weltooll W5 pro compared to the 562 lumens of the Astrolux WP3 are not much different. I own WP3 and was thinking about buying W5 Pro. When I saw your video, I probably had to think again!
The beam is twice the size on the W5, unlike most LEPs, the W5 has a corona, and the W5 tint is far superior
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TVit looks greenish. Thats not a good tint.
@israelquezada0454 most LEPs have a cruddy tint, this is one of the nicer tints tbh.
That looks like an incredibly dangerous light.
It's rated safe to take in the eye but I wouldn't want to test the rating!
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV 2 million candela in a 5 cm diameter is 1 billion nits, which is less than the sun (1.6 billion nits)
So it's like looking at the sun through a magnifying glass.
I clearly don't have a need for that light.............but damn!!! 😱
I didn't care for them until I used one!
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I envisioned some sort of tripod rig, with either binocular or spotting scope, and an attached LEP that lights up where the optics are pointing. That could be quite useful.
Now I just have to validate spending $400 on a flashlight to the wife.
You think that’s bad I bought a Hot Wheel toy car for $4400. I said relax wait until you see what I sell it for. 80% ROI.
Wow❗❗❗
$400 dollarydoos?! Crikey!
Mama Mia £328 professional tool only I would have thought and...yet another 'new' battery/cell obviously not derived from vaping usage serious R/C model area ? it's a fascinating watch, but deffo would not be tempted 😇
Should be rocking 1 x 46950!!!
Next, let's review acebeam w50
There's a Maxtoch LEP that beats it!
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV w50 4MCd 3900 meter
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV maxtoch owl eye w pro 2head I think the w50 is really the most powerful single LEP available.

Can't you talk? And I don't like these lights because it's a very fine line of light it doesn't have a wide range to light up more area!
K75 whips them all 😎
