The first one was the best one, the Smileys were my favorite.
The second one had environmental executions and being able to execute with a gun, those were great additions. Story wise and character wise, Cash all the way.

I never fell in love with the second one like I did the first, but I don't remember it being THAT bad. It was annoying how they censored the violence in the final cut, though. If they had kept it raw like this video it would have been better.

Yeah, some people like the first more and some like the second more, that does not make it a piece of shit...
The second one had more shooting parts, yeah... but they were still gory... you know... the thing Manhunt is famous for? Daniel Lamb was a better protagonist because every Rockstar character is like Cash, a criminal that is searched by the law... Daniel on the other hand was completly normal and freaks out slowly while you are playing the game...

Daniel Lamb is more bloodthirsty, and has a more wild playing style that James Earl Cash, which in turn, makes Brutal style, but usually it's victims die in the first blow, obviously not feeling the most brutal blows, while Daniel is sadistic, it's victims feel a lot of pain before succumbing, even so, I still prefer the James Earl Cash, it is much fucking .

If it really did then I am not surprised, American media is all about showing, "women beating the shit out of men", "Small weak men beating and butchering big powerful men" (I am not saying they couldn't but it is not that frequent as shown by the media). So that they could create an astonishing effect on the viewer so that the companies could make more money. Nowadays it become a fashion of showing a black man beating the shit out of a white man. Cash is a a stone cold killer, gets to the point with executions.
Danny is a psycopath, he tortures his victims in longer, and more gruesome ways.
I like Cash's character, but I like Danny's executions and story.

Danny suffers from dissociative amnesia coupled with dissociative identity disorder due to trauma caused by Leo's personality being "incorrectly" implanted into his brain after the Pickman Bridge experimentation failed. The Project then partially erased Danny's memory in order to prevent Leo from taking total control of his mind.
In other words, it's Leo who killed all those people via Danny since his personality was the dominant one.

Never again does it seem like there will be a game like these two...these are the only games where you can actually play the role of a serial killer...the first one actually has a brilliant story, James Earl Cash escapes death row and kills to survive, becoming a snuff movie star...these games were made for MEN, not little girls and teeny boppers...the gameplay is very tactical and stealth based...most games nowadays don't have anything like that anymore, damn I miss these games....I miss the PS2.
James Earl Cash and Daniel Lamb aren't serial killers since they're forced to kill their enemies to survive. Neither is a sick individual who kills to satisfy an urge.
MakeYTGreatAgain a serial killer by definition is someone who commits a series of murders OFTENLY (not always) with no apparent motive but typically following a typical, predictable, characteristic pattern...how is Cash not considered that since he kills in patterns and kills the same types of people, they are all gang members or police...and why do you think he was on death row? He obviously has killed even before the game took place and if you actually read my comment, I said that he kills to survive...but he kills and doesn't blink an eye, therefore he is classified as a cold killer...but I see you just want to be argumentative over pointless things....my whole point of this comment was the fact that this is an awesome game and there will never be anything like it again.

There's one reason I dislike Manhunt 2; Too much gun-fight combat.
In comparison to Manhunt 1, I remember it had a lot more stealth executions than Manhunt 2. If only Manhunt 2 had less gun-fight combat...
Really, how many people Loe/Danny kill in Manhunt 2?! Way more than in Manhunt because of all that gunfight. And there's just 0 reason for Leo/Danny to be more resistant against gun damage than Cash.
Before you all get butthurt, I don't hate Manhunt 2, I sure like it, but I prefer Manhunt more. Manhunt 2 somehow felt like it had more flaws than the first one.

I extremely agree with you, but the original manhunt felt like it was missing something the entire time. The game was way to tactical for a psychopath horror. You always wanted to get it over with quick and run the fuck out of there. Manhunt 2 gave me less stress to be tactical, and more time to be gruesome. as much as i love manhunt, manhunt 2 had better executions and made me actually want to kill people in gruesome ways >:)

Daniel Lamb(being of smallish stature) appears to incapacitate his victims through sheer pain or knowledge of the human body before finishing them off. While the lumbering JEC just blows right through them from the first blow.
I like them both; they each have their own style. A MH3 with multiple characters would be interesting. Maybe even a female in the group. I’m sure girls want to smash that glass ceiling; grab a chunk of glass and eviscerate some pigs :D too.

Cash is super violent and doesn't show any emotion but Danny is a psycho geek with trained killer tactics (thanks to Leo ). So both are scary cause they don't fuck around with the shit.

Manhunt isn't promoting violence, it's all about SURVIVAL, in realistic forms.
The game shows us massacres, done by a common man who became an hero, because he could escape all this horror.
And it's not only about the intense and explicit violence, but the storyline. Both of them have a well-standing storyline and that's the point of Manhunt.

They should make a Manhunt 3 in which you can design your charcater appearance.
Also a sandbox "Treatment" Mode in which you free roam and kill for sport.
Or a "Medicated mode" Splitting between reality and fantasy.
