His nephew did have a history and even his own family called the cops on him about a suicide attempt and another time for murder threats using his collection of knives. Several red flags that caught my attention in this interview: 1) the uncle lives with him, 2) the uncle says “everyone loves us”, 3) “if I did see signs, I would have said something”, 4) The uncle claims he never watched his work or saw his music videos, but says he’s a good artist. I mean come on, someone in your family as colorful and odd as this kid is and you live in proximity, but you don’t know anything about that person? It looks like the uncle is covering and maybe speaking for the dad too.
I absolutely hate when people give the family problems after one of their family members do something crazy. It wasn't them. Every single person is responsible for their own actions.
Interesting most people well white people in Amerikkka don’t believe that it goes like this: Muslim Shooter: Entire Religion Guilty Black Shooter: Entire Race Guilty White Shooter: Mentally Challenged Lone Wolf
No interaction with your nephew, that you shared a house with. I believe this guy is remorseful but this just shows how adults ignore children and young adults and have no idea what’s going on in their lives.
The cops had to confiscate his knives and a sword because he threatened his family with murder months before his dad signed off on his foid. The parents and family need to be deeply investigated
Yes, they are guilty and responsible for their son's actions. Unfortunately, there is no help for situations like this. At least they could limit his drug use unless they use them too?
His apology was very genuine, this man has nothing to do with it. I hope everyone is nice to the uncle, my condolences and prayers go to the families affected by that monster.

I feel bad for the guy. It's no one else's fault but the shooter.... especially not the uncle's. It's not the uncle's responsibility over a grown 22yr old man. My kid is a "cool, quiet kid who sticks to himself." He's shy. I don't think that's always a red flag. My kid also talks to me all of the time about his problems he has. People are just different in a lot of ways. Now had you said something about this kid's social media or videos he was posting, I'd say yes, definitely a red flag. This is what parents miss the most. That is what people are too afraid to speak up about. This is also why I don't let my kid have social media and I regularly go through his gaming accounts. Had anyone spoke up sooner about those items, this may have been prevented
That was gut wrenching. Poor dude has to stand in front of the world and try to apologize for his nephew's dreadful deed. It's not your fault dude, no one blames you.

If my son (or nephew) had tattoo's all over his face, no job, and claimed he was a rapper (he averages 3k views, and who knows how many of those were people searching him after the shooting), I would be having a long talk to him about the direction his life is headed in. Sounds like he had zero guidance from any male role models in his life. Many people underestimate the value these days of young men (and women) having positive male role models in their life to help guide them. No it's not the uncle's fault exactly, but I'll bet him and the boy's father could have done more to take a more active role in his life. I only say this about the uncle because they lived at the same residence.
Nephew was basically a roommate. It's not this guy's fault. Hell with technology so prevalent in our lives, a lot of people don't even truly know their children in the room next to them.
@@mrarivv0007 That's not necessarily true. In some families parents can try to raise good kids and do so, but not every one of their kids follows the path of law-abiding citizenship.

Agreed. I watch my nieces and especially my nephew like a hawk. I’m the cool aunt they can talk to about anything and if I see any odd behavior, I make sure to talk to them and help them however I can. And you better believe I will see red flags if my nephew got his face tattooed and didn’t work or go to school.
I feel bad for him but one thing that must be highlighted is “WE DONT HAVE A RELATIONSHIP”. As parents or older figures you MUST be involved in your kids

Many young men (read up on it) who are mass killers of this age - do NOT speak about their feelings. It's epidemic. I'm in no way defending the kid. But I find it highly unlikely that they "ignored signs." He was 22 - not 12.

I can tell he is in shock and upset. How else would someone react? Three guys in a house could very easily be much like he said. Everyone just goes about their business in that sort of arrangement. Sir, I don't know if you will read this, but if you do, I hope it brings you some comfort. It was not your fault, not your crime. If your nephew was responsible for this, it was not your doing. It seems he either took pains not to let anyone know his plans, or he acted on a dark impulse. You are not to blame, nor is anyone else in the family. My brother killed himself in 2000. We found in his belongings a plan to climb to the highest tower in town and kill as many people as possible. It is our belief that he found some sanity at the last moment and killed himself rather than kill a bunch of people. It was a very hard fight, it appears. We were aware of neither his desire to kill others, nor his plans to kill himself, even though we talked to him daily. He was very adept at hiding things, it seems. Mental health care is tricky, and when someone doesn't want to admit they need help, it is impossible. Please don't blame yourself, unless you personally knew of his plans and ignored them.
I am so very sorry for your loss! Sadly mental health issues can be hidden for years from the people so close to the troubled individual. My prayers are with you, and also with the victims of this latest tragedy, and also with the family of the shooter....and yes. Even with the shooter himself! Only God knows what drove him to such horrific extremes! Our earthly legal system will do it's work for earthly justice, but in the end only God will have the final say!
This is the problem the disconnect and lack of communication in families, you lived with your nephew and clearly were not all that close. These kids are isolated and believe what they read on internet

The house where the shooter, his father, and his uncle currently live was actively going under mortgage foreclosure about a week ago. It makes me wonder if that was a tipping point, e.g. the three of them were about to lose the home that they lived in and that originally belonged to the father's/uncle's father.
The shooter's father ran on a platform that was anti-regulation saying they were hamperkng small businesses. The father lost that political race but hearing you father say that the government is ghe cause of your business failing (while ignoring all the businesses that *aren't failing*) may have olayed a role.

"Everybody loves us" Who says that? That's the 1st red flag of a cover up. This man knew in 2019 his nephew tried to commit suicide, even threaten to kill his entire family. The cops were called and confiscated a bunch of knives. He could see no signs? Who's he fooling? Who believes that? All that stuttering - he is s trying really hard to cover his family reputation. Family knew what son was capable of doing, they are complicit! Question is, did he CARE ENOUGH to notice the kid was a nutcase and seek responsible action? Where does responsibility begin and end is the question. The family, long term, ignored what was obvious. They failed their community, big time!

Agree. I found this interview to be a bit off. Maybe the uncle is mentally disabled. Or he is the designated family clean up man.

I can tell he is in shock and upset. How else would someone react? Three guys in a house could very easily be much like he said. Everyone just goes about their business in that sort of arrangement. You say hi and bye and occasionally do some house chores together. Sometimes guys don't communicate much.
Now we know the uncle is lying. Crimo had a suicide attempt and he threatened to kill family members.
A loved one was involved in a fatal car accident and I found myself in this man's shoes. I can feel his pain. It's shocking to have to stand before the public on television and try to make sense of what happened. He's deeply sorry for what happened
Well said.
Amen! ✝
This is the problem the disconnect and lack of communication in families, you lived with your nephew and clearly were not all that close. These kids are isolated and believe what they read on internet
Praying for the uncle and everyone who was hurt this is heart breaking. He seems to be in shock
He’s in shock. He seems as surprised as the rest of us. I feel bad for the family. Sending my deepest condolences to the victims families.
Yea, I mean its not like his nephew has been posting videos online depicting mass shootings and literally say he needs to carry one out for years or anything....who knew?!
@@michaelbell75 he did say he never saw any of his nephew's videos.
I will say tho, there has to be some sort of negligence by the police to not investigate this kid further when they had been informed of these videos.
I know there's no possible way to charge someone for a crime before the act is committed, but there should've been restrictions to not allow someone like that to purchase a firearm legally.
Don’t they are all extremist MAGAts

Atleast he had the guts and the courtesy to apologize, even though he probably had no hand in anything. That takes stones, my friends! My condolences to those who lost their lives, in this tragic event!
Exactly! I wonder if his Trump mega republican supporting and big gun advocate father Will speak out. Oh wait actually they called him for a comment and he just hung up.
I agree; at least he apologized. We are still waiting on the Buffalo shooters family to make a statement and apologize for their son's actions!
He was trying to get ahead of the story before the community discovers just how much of a negligent piece of shit he is
@@princessdoodlebugs that has absolutely nothing to do with anyone's character. Guns don't pull their own triggers and commit mass murderers. Evil, sick and mentally ill pull them. At least Trump loves this country and did everything he said he would do unlike the unfit dummy that can't put a sentence together without screwing it up. He and his worthless sidekick have the country in shambles. But hey, blame Trump and blame the gun 🤦
Yes, that apology helped so so much??? WTF is wrong with you people.
The house where the shooter, his father, and his uncle currently live was actively going under mortgage foreclosure about a week ago. It makes me wonder if that was a tipping point, e.g. the three of them were about to lose the home that they lived in and that originally belonged to the father's/uncle's father.
U should help pay their mortgage
The shooter's father ran on a platform that was anti-regulation saying they were hamperkng small businesses. The father lost that political race but hearing you father say that the government is ghe cause of your business failing (while ignoring all the businesses that *aren't failing*) may have olayed a role.
Which means what??? ...
@Chris that's not the correct definition of a bum, Chris
@Chris Three grown couldn't pay for a home that was inherited?
Yes bums is correct.
The kid looks odd, something is off with his facial features.
His eyes are to far apart.
This child looked disturb from his picture. We have to become sensitive what is going on with our love ones. Family members that live in the same house with us who are distant and with drawn from social interaction with families are the first sign. RIP to those who lost their lives. Sending love and peace to the family members who lost love ones.
Thats true to an extent but boys that age are almost all distant and withdrawn at least in the family environment. Im worried for all the kids after all the corruption and unaccountability that became apparent through the pandemic and the use of it to push their great reset shit show. The harm caused by disrupting their educations with a fear based attack on our cicil rights has left so many in bad mental states with nothing to look forward to. All they see is negativity at every angle and political blame wars using the kids gor their politics.
How long ago did the police reports that were found about this kid threatening his family, and saying he wanted to commit suicide? If that isn't a huge Fxxking warning I don't know what the hell is. Instead they help him purchase weapons that kill in mass, go figure!
Being sensitive was the problem
Kittens Henderson. Another case of using a kid as a scapegoat. There's a Witness here that said there were shooters on the ground and the reporter badgered her for saying it:

@@happyface9000 By age 12 you have reached the age of accountability. As stated this little demon is going to riot in jail. He is a danger to himself, his family and the general populace. They reported he threatened to kill himself and all of his family. They knew he was a demon because he came from them. They were concerned about their safety but not everyone else's. Long as he weren't threatening to kill them they just tip-toe around him. Allowing him to be distant and anti-social. Sound like they were scared of this boy.
I know his heavy heart, my dad was a serial killer, it weights on my heart like nothing else.
Wow, but it still is something you couldn't control.

That's the problem you living in the same house and don't even know what's up and how would you see signs of trouble if you ain't really involved in kids day to day life. That's why this shit keeps happening it starts at home not the gun store

I feel for all involved, this is devastating my condolences to all the families and to the shooter’s family we don’t hold you accountable for this your nephew is his own person
The shooter's father helped get him a FOID card after he threatened to kill his family. This family is messed up. I don't buy what this uncle is selling. Threatening to kill your family is a big sign.
Thank god, Bobby III was a Trump fan, or else this poor boy and his uncle would have been lynched.
I agree with you. It's not fair to label the whole family as evil or responsible. We cannot always predict what someone will do
@Dr Suldaan Al-Amudi you got some anger dude. You can raise a kid to be the best person possible, but they can still turn out bad. It happens. I've seen it.
@@uhavetobekiddingme8932 Yeah, thoughts and prayers will do.
In a strange way, this reminds me of a friend of mine who took his own life several years ago. None of us saw it coming. One day his mom went out to the garage to do some laundry and there he was, hanging in the corner. No warning. No indication. Nothing. I still get goosebumps whenever I recall that day...
Most people suffer in silence to not be a burden. I'm very sorry for your loss.
I had a buddy that did the same. His mother found him in the garage in the morning I believe. He lived a block or so away from me. Happened several years ago as well. He seamed to be always happy as ever out in public. Was a shock to everyone
How can you live with someone and never communicate with them? I find this to be very strange.
He was probably told that his uncle was an evil man, just for being a man.
@@mikemiller551 I don’t know but I do find it very strange.
This poor man needs to be left to process his grief and be among his family, who are all undoubtedly hurting just as much. I realize people are curious and journalists can be opportunistic, but interviewing people on live television while they're in shock is exploitation, and deeply unethical. My heart goes out to this family as well as the families of the victims, they were all hurt by this young man's despicable actions.
Journalists are heartless.
"It's interesting when people die, give us dirty laundry..."

He needs to be prosecuted too he just acts this way so he stays safe bet this guy introduced that kids to gun violence thru games and paint ball fights

Well that's the problem. As an uncle, especially if the kid doesn't have a father that is there, should be involved with the nephew. He knew he was a rapper but never heard or saw his music? What an a hole. You need to be involved with family members that come of as the loner quiet type. How many damn stories have we heard of someone snapping and hearing interviews of neighbors or family members saying, "he was quiet, kept to himself, never imagined" etc. It's become predictable as af.
I would be trying to distance myself from my nephew too if I was in his situation
Yea thats for sure.. didnt sound to good when he mentioned they live together but dont know each other like that..
He's probably trying to protect his brother.
@@needdemdogz3 The uncle said the kid had his own studio apartment in the back. I've had roommates, and shared a house, but we had separate lives. Nothing to see here.
he lived with him, was a family member, and his career was rap - but he never watched one of his videos?
i find that suspicious. either he hated the kid, or is covering his ass.
@@alicewright4322 I agree I have had to sit and watch this stuff myself. Even as just a sign of saying I care. Someone who posts videos would want more views. And would seek some form of acknowledgement from their family and friends. SUSPICIOUS.
Right when the name was shared I googled the name.. This guy’s grandfather was born in Highland Park in 1929, to parents that lived their whole lives there.. That family has been entrenched in that community well over 100 years.. Abd everything shattered in a single moment..
I feel just terrible for this gentleman and his family..
This is sad…. I truly hope and pray that the community doesn’t try to abandon him and his family….
Someone mentioned the house was in foreclosure. This looks like a response to gentrification. Has an outside element TAKEN OVER the town? Are the townies being disposed of in the town their ancestors built? Who were the parade-goers? Were they mostly new arrivals, taking over the town's tradition? Somebody knows why, someone always knows.
My prayers go out to this genuine kind hearted man! And of course the families. 🙏🏽
