- Police in Kent pursued and apprehended two 14-year-old suspects accused of robbing a convenience store at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.
At 5:01 a.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery with a gun at a 7-11. Responding officers spotted the suspect's vehicle, a white Kia Optima, fleeing the area and initiated a chase with the car based on probable cause for robbery with a weapon, according to Kent police.
The pursuit went to the West Hill area of Kent where officers from Federal Way police deployed tire spikes, which slowed the vehicle.

Start charging the parents and they might start making an attempt at raising them
And try them as adults. 2 mil cash bail.
I think you meant parent instead of parent(s). I seriously doubt they even know who the father is.
@@billybubba8344 Sad but true.
@@jewcyk8268its true?
@@billybubba8344you might have just hit the nail on the head. I have two boys 13 and 15 if I thought they were even thinking about robbing a lemonade stand I'd put my boot so far up their ass they would be tasting the horse sh*t on my boot. Thankfully I highly doubt I'll ever need to do that. I've worked hard raising them with morals and integrity like my dad did me. Their mother had two more kid's after we separated, two girls. Neither have a relationship with their dad. One's in jail and the other just flat out doesn't make any kind of an attempt at a relationship. Didn't even come to see his little girl born. She's 4 now and the cutest little girl you could hope for. They had a father's day thing at her daycare awhile back. She asked me if I would come and be there with her and be her dad. I didn't hesitate, it really made me feel bad for her tho. Technically I guess you could blame her mom. Actions have consequences. For instance unprotected sex and one night stands with losers. I'm proud to say both my boys were on purpose. I don't do one night stands. Hell I don't do any kind of stands lately 😂
If they are old enough to do that they are old enough to be tried as adults
Show the kids faces. Make sure everyone knows what type of kid they are. Hold their parents accountable for their actions.
They can’t. Orders from the top don’t show black criminals.
*Black Kids faces
Single mother raised. Karen's get custody
🤯 big picture man
FOR WHAT LOLLL
Hold the parents accountable.
FOR WHAT LOLLL
@@CHIEF.42 For not keeping their MINORS in check? For unleashing their psychotic offspring into society without supervision? For creating these animals? Although I have a feeling the apple doesn't fall far...

@@CHIEF.42 If you have to ask for what, there's something wrong with you and I hope you don't have children.
That was a great interview with the man. I love what he said. May God bless our Police.
Bless the good ones, because they need it because of the other ones who work with them.
Yeah, he said it so sweetly
👍
😮 parents need to be held accountable for their kids actions. And I mean prison time.
No way, they had an illegal gun? You mean someone that can't buy a gun somehow got a gun???
Clearly this means nobody should ever ever be allowed to buy one and Washington state should ban the rest, cuz then the criminals will realize it is against the law this time and totally not get a gun in the future
NRA are leaving them under kids pillows
LIke father KKKristmas
The vast majority of guns used in crimes were obtained from straw purchases lol. They were purchased legally from a seller and then sold to someone else. Thing is, private sellers don’t need to run background checks to sell. People go to a conservative sh*thole state, buy a bunch of guns and then sell them to criminals.
It's easier for criminals to get guns then a law abiding citizen.
Shocking!
14 year olds, armed, robbing, stealing Kias.....
SOMEBODY'S got a TIKTOK account...😏
my thoughts exactly, these kids are bragging somewhere!
The usual suspects....start charging their "parents" with crap and see what happens 😅😅😅
More Like Grandparent
They would scream race.
Nothing will change. Odds are you’re talking about a single parent working multiple jobs just to feed everyone so they don’t have time to watch the kids. And if they were really good at planning the kid probably wouldn’t exist. More than likely you’re taking someone out of the work force and making them a state burden. Address childcare, housing, and pay people a living wage.
Squeezing people who have nothing will produce nothing.
They do charge the parents...if they're white...
I’m sure they have great role models 😂
Yep, the usual suspects...
14yr olds with guns were not historically "usual" suspects at all.
@@Gingerblazeactually, they are. Across the country there are groups of Kia Boyz. There are certain models of Kia that they can get started within a minute. They love the thrill of the chase, often ditching one Kia for another. Most of the time they are armed with guns. They can be as young as 10 yrs old,and they don’t think twice about driving at speeds up to 100mph, city streets or freeway. The police arrest them and file solid charges, but the judges set low bonds and let them go home to mom, because after all, they are good boys, they just made a mistake. Two days later, they make the same mistake, and the result is the same.
Welcome to reality.

Proof that parents need to use discipline in a harsh way.
Period!
Lol! The vast majority of people in prison were treated harshly. Being severe doesn’t necessarily produce better adults but it’ll probably make better liars. Or they may turn on themselves and give up.
Rich parents don’t treat their kids like that because they know it doesn’t get results you want. They figure out what actually motivates their kid. Fear of pain is not a good incentive. The person will either get used to it, use it on others or focus stopping whatever is causing the pain and the results with that may vary wildly.
Got the gun from the streets.
They stole the gun off somebody
Or stole it when they stole the vehicle.
DONT LEAVE YOUR GUN IN YOUR CAR PEOPLE!
Probably the parents gun. Kids like this running the streets at this time dont have good, honest parents.
Except they say it was stolen from another town. So there goes that theory
And what makes the parents not good honest people for having a gun? 99.999% of gun owners are the most moral and honest people you'll meet.
"Probably the parents gun"? Ridiculous assumption. These teens need to be prosecuted as adults. This isn't a case of not knowing any better, and they'll eventually kill someone if not stopped. I grew up with a kid who killed a cashier during an armed robbery of a small store when he was 14.
I love the man in the car's accent!
14 year old BOYS ????? Oh my goodness.
Those boys are soooo lost! Becoming a couple of thugs. Shame
Becoming?
The usual suspects
Life in prison. We need to start making major examples of these "kids" so the next ones think twice.
But that's mean 😂😂 say the silly liberals
Children don't think twice. They barely think once.
@gforceforever you're right they don't think, and that's why we need to make examples of some of them
Well clearly they stole the gun😂😂😂
Washington state is a freaking wasteland.
Thanks for letting us know which state Kent is in! I could tell this happened somewhere in the US from the accent of the person’s voice who was telling the story, and some of the visuals on the screen. But where it happened in that country I did not know.
"The problem we have is how did they get the gun" ..lol
No, it's: why are they doing these kinds of crime at such a young age to begin with? They could have used bats, knives, machetes, and whatever else..
The gun isn't the problem. The problem is what motivates them to do this to begin with.
I think this could be said about most states and cities at this point.
@@cacampbell3654 is this unhealthy consumption, watching shorts about crimes in towns I can't even identify? Probably not
Liberalism destroys all it touches.
Anyone can get an illegal gun off the street in a matter of minutes if you got the street smarts.
This is why restricting law abiding gun owners is preposterous.
Many of those guns on the street are stolen from legal, law abiding citizens
We should all be able to acquire guns anytime, anywhere without restrictions.
@@Matt2023and when law enforcement shows up,and everyone has a gun how do they know who to shoot 🤔🤡
@@nosheizer1294 Simple, the law abiding wont be shooting at them...
If they’re old enough to use a gun in a robbery, then they are old enough to go to prison.
Calm down guys, they were just looking for their daddies.
They just might find their daddies in prison.
Usual suspects
"teens"
Why aren't the parent(s) ever held accountable for the "minors" criminal behavior?
The ENTIRE United States wants to know.
Crumbleys were. Doesn’t happen often but does happen. Parents can play victim and say they don’t know.
The parents can only do so much. Eventually, the kids have to suffer consequences for their own actions. If the parents directly enabled the kids, that's one thing, but simply blaming the parents for their kids' stupidity is wrong. Once you're a teenager, you know right from wrong. I'm tired of parents getting blamed for their kids' stupid decisions! It's not always bad parenting that causes these kids to act that way.
They only hold the parents accountable if they're white.
Nothing will happen. They are a protected class.
No they're not
Send a parent to jail with each kid!
They probably stole the gun, just like the car,and the $$.
Armed robbery and stolen vehicle you better charge them as adults.
No one asked : Why are the 14 yrs old out with a gun @ 5am in a stolen car??
Cause we already know why...culture.
It's a shame. They're 14. WTF?
This makes me wonder if there’s no father in the home. Good dads are the best prevention of crime there is.
Nice guy being interviewed, I bet his kids are brought up better
South African man . Bet he was surprised to see excellent policemen
Let’s all thank Jay Inslee!
Tell us what they look like without telling us..
Since guns are outlined for anyone and 14 year old could not own any firearm I guess the law doesn't stop criminals. Imagine that?
14 year old armed robbers. It’s getting absurd the amount of crime and violence that’s happening all over the country. Things need to change and people be held accountable for their actions instead of constantly putting them on probation over and over again.
It’s like kids are evil these days. Not all of them, but I mean I’m 14 and Robin a place give me a break.
Or Batman too
100% linked to other robberies, & they have adult handlers recruiting, supplying & training them.
Yup!!!
14 years old with guns and driving? SMH
They'll be let go as usual, smfh. Where are the parents? They all should be charged!
I'M SICK OF PEOPLE blaming the parents here.... Sure, we can make an argument for the bad parenting, but this is on the damn people that did it, and just because we're not punishing the teens, now you people want to focus elsewhere..... WE KNOW WHO TO CHARGE, it's worked for DECADES in the past, even with all the horrible parenting.... All we need to do is make examples out of the trash, that's all, it's very, very, simple....
Tyrone and Leroy will be charged. Their father, already in prison, will be notified.
These guys park in front of the cameras with a car they drive around after the fact, crazy
Why wouldn't that be the very first question they ask?
"How did they get the gun?"
Hello sir and welcome to America!
He got the gun from the black market.
Pun intended?
And it blackfired
Those “ TEENS “ again !!!!
14 yr olds... how sad
You know the Kia was stolen as well.
Why are they even out that early their parents are responsible for them
They are taught this b$% from their parent and relatives who ain't no more then 5months older then they are. ,14 ,yr old. This cycle will continue
14 years old!!??? Why are these children runnin the streets at night, why are these children so desperate for money, and who's idea was this???
it’s cultural.
Fatherless kids.. thats the problem
Two of out three boys had both parents come and claim them. The third boy not sure.
Jail jail jail!!
...and culture has nothing to do with it???
14 year old has a driver's license?
They arrived in a Kia? Surprised it wasn’t stolen while they were busy robbing the convenience store.
My grandsons would never be allowed to behave in such ways.
They have rules and aren't allowed to just run the streets.
The charcoal strike again!!😂
When I saw that guy I thought that happened in Nigeria. Why would you interview a guy all the way from Nigeria.
Single-parent homes ?
Two out of three of the boys had both parents come and claim them. The 3rd child is unknown. So no in a way.
kids are definitely opaque
Best stewards of children....😂😂😂😂😂😂 Ok ok it's a joke
Typical
I thought that was Michael Jordan🏀
The parents are at fault as well as the kids
The problem doesnt actually have anything to do with the gun. It's a societal issue that we have to deal with differently. We could ban 100% of all firearms in this country right now, and these crimes would still occur at a high rate for decades, and still continue after that -- we live in a time where anyone has the ability to make a basic 🔫 in their garage with a 3d printer and pretty basic tooling. If we truly want this kind of problem to stop in its tracks, we gotta look first at the incentives and *why* people are acting this way.
14!!?? Jesus!!!
I used my parents postal. They never knew it was gun (-: fortionantly I didn't get caught.
Wow 14...life is done😢😢😢😢

Shocking that criminals get their hands on guns illegally
What country is this 🤔
What ever happened with jabril cheevers and lawrence mcclendon jr?

Parents you can and need to do better.
Why are the parents not charged and prosecuted? God bless all police officers, they're what's between law abiding citizens and these monsters. We need all the police help that we can get.
We all know why because of the color of their skin. Mean while in Michigan they charged that school shooters parts with ten years for their kids actions.
The jails would be full of single mothers, who have a bunch of kids and no husband, a single mother can't handle teenaged boys. They are rebellious anyway, so much more when they start taking drugs and robbing and stealing.🏴☠️💀
The same way all criminals get them. They steal them from cars!
Bang, bang!
Adult crimes = Adult times for them & legal guardians.
Where'd they get the gun? Are you kiddin me? They got it on the street for a few bucks or free if it was hot from a crime shooting. The question isn't where'd they get the gun, the question is where were the fuck*ng parents?
The gun, the car and the hoodies on their heads are all stolen. 🤬
Pride of Wakanda!
The sad thing is that there will be no consequences and they will be back out and at it again. Result of "good" parenting. (That's sarcasm)
