Thank you so much !!! Delicious, easy to make, the best part I can use einkorn flour , I had to cut down the sugar 1/2 cup is too much for us . Delicious!!
Can’t wait to try it! Tomorrow is my baking day and it’ll be on the list. I never thought to use Einkorn Flour in this way. I’ve only used it to make basic bread. TFS
Thank you for this recipe, my family is so happy with this banana bread! How do I go about rewriting the macros if I’m using 1/2cup erythritol, 1/2cup allulose + 1tbsp stevia glycerate instead of the sugar tho? I’m logging my foods in an app but I guess have to manually calculate the whole calorie count by looking up the ingredients huh? What app do you use for the nutrition label creation? Anyway, I made this with coconut flakes as the second version and with cacao as the chocolate third version, all are awesome.
Hello, new subbie 👋, I’m enjoying your Einkorn recipes! I appreciate your one page, no ad printable recipes! I’m curious as to how you do it? Is it Canva? Thanks 😊
Hey there! Are you talking about the one that pops up when you hit print inside the post? If so, that's built into the plugin, which is called WordPress Recipe Maker
Looks yummy. I would love to give this a try with Einkorn flour. I'm having difficulty getting most grain. Einkorn is one of the difficult ones for me. I guess it's not the time for me to learn to use Einkorn! Looks like we may be eating lots of rye and spelt bread! Thanks for sharing.
@@loritrotter6354 Thank you! And yes, einkorn and many grains are getting harder and harder to come by... and from what I hear, it will be getting worse soon 😞
Hello ! Will the result be as good if I don’t use a mixer? I didn’t invest in that… thank you so much for all your recipes with einkorn. just love this flour. But I noticed that no one is sharing a brioche recipe with einkorn on the web…is einkorn flour not adapted for brioche? Just asking!
Hi there! Yes, it will be delicious without a mixer too! Sometimes I don't even use mine :-) As for brioche, there are very few people actually creating recipes (like me) most people are just copying recipes for einkorn that exist, and maybe tweaking them. As a result, some types of einkorn recipes just haven't been created yet (like brioche)! However, I have a Hawaiian Roll recipe for einkorn here, that would be pretty darn close if baked in a loaf! www.amodernhomestead.com/einkorn-hawaiian-rolls/ I have a very long list of einkorn recipes that I am testing (it can take years to perfect a recipe) but I will add brioche to the list, because that is a fabulous idea! :-)
@@AModernHomestead ah! 😊 Thank you so much for taking your time to answer my question! I use only einkorn now because I love the taste of it and think it is more healthy. I Did the banana bread yesterday in a blender by mistake… it is not appropriate, I should have done everything by hand!! Thank you for the advice which I am seeing too late! But I will follow it next time! Wish I had all these machines in my kitchen but I already have so many and wouldn’t know where to put it! It is quite expensive too an investment for which at my age I am not sure I can amortize the cost except if my daughter is interested!!! But I am often thinking about it! It seems so helpful…when one has a big family though… which is not my case… thank you so much for the link, for your creativity and your wish to try a brioche!!! ❤️ I just looked at your Hawaiian roll it looks GREAT!!! 🙏
Yes! It's a little actual 1 cup measuring cup with the 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, and 3/4 on the sides! I see them quite often at antique stores, though this one is my grandmother's
@@cherylpresleigh6403 Me too! I have a lot of great cooking tools that were hers, it's a wonderful way to stay connected as she passed away when I was only 14.
Hey Tim, good to see you here! I did use to add the flour first, to help the butter mix better... I forgot about that! Now, I add the butter first, but really, either way comes to the same thing!
@@AModernHomestead No worries, I ended up following the video. It's currently in the oven with 12 minutes to go, and it smells great! I noticed I had to add a bit more einkorn flour since it was a tad runny for me, but maybe it's because I didn't use a mixer -- not sure if that played a role.
I've used Monk Fruit/Erythritol mix as a sugar sub and it works out very well.

I love banana bread
Have you used maple syrup as sugar substitute? I’d like to know how much and any changes needed to the flour ratio if you’d tried. Thanks

I'm so glad to hear it! I'm working on some recipes that are specifically for freshly ground einkorn, so keep an eye out for those too!

Is the ration always 1:1 when switching out white flour for Einkorn?
