Ich empfinde diese Musik als eine bezaubernde und trostvolle Mixtur aus persischer und hebräischer Musikkultur. Weiter so!

the english translation (or at least an attempt to translate :) )-
"the winds' toll shall pluck on stems, and darkness.
and grass shall morph itself to the leafs canopy.
holy among goats (as the one chosen for sacrifice) save Ahitophel,
for a stray harem's daughter which sends waves.
a silent grassy bosom engulfed a face with incense,
healing is eve's tear in the fragrant weed.
in the rainy green rises the temple of Ashtoret,
in the rainy green walks my master."
i am not a proffesional translator, this is my attempt to translate a poem which uses old hebrew, modern hebrew and a unique use of both by the poet.
the comment in ( ) is mine and not by the poet. hope you'll enjoy.

Is this some sort of a Persian - Jewish blend? All the instruments are Iranian but the style of playing and words are not.

ronningun Our music is our interpertation of different maqam traditions from our personal perspective. We find inspiration from many things around us old and new, including Persian music and they find their way into our style, but I would not call it a Persian - Jewish blend :)
By the way the Tar and Kamanche in our group are the Azeri version of the instruments, not the Persian.
