great video! just a question: does the raspberry pi need to be connected to wifi to do this? for example, can I leave my raspberry pi in the middle of a field without any wifi connection and will it work? or will the data not upload?

I guess the data will not be uploaded right away, but firebase should have offline feature which will upload data once network is available?

Thank you for the suggestion. I will put it in the list. For now I didn't find the exact tutorial for this. It needs some study and experiment to make it work.
