      Engines #6 and #2 were both bought at auction from the Argent Lumber Company, which ran a narrow-gauge line out of Hardeeville, SC until the late 1950's.

      so I volunteer at the gift shop. lol, I know that doesn't mean anything but I absolutely love these locomotives and grew up going to Old Threshers every year. I've always been too nervous to ask, but what are my chances of getting a ride in the locomotive and maybe have the crew show me a few things? it would really be a dream come true. :-D
