I think I've seen so far almost all of your videos of waterpainting, and I think I can't decide yet wich one I've liked the most, they are all so beatiful.
The white and black pens aids in the separation of value and the enhancement of color saturation, ultimately bringing out the key forms in the painting. Watercolor tends to be "flat". agnescecile's technique of utilizing those pens is well conceived and adds a great deal to the end product.
Alternative to watercolor pads or just paper, there are watercolor blocks in which a stack of watercolor paper is set onto a backing board and all sides are glued together so that you don't need to stretch your paper before you start painting because the glue holds the paper in place and prevents puckering. A lot of common brands offer watercolor blocks and prices in comparison to a regular watercolor pad do not vary dramatically if at all. Hope that helps.

at first you'll never get to understand the creativity of the art but once you start using your painting techniques i was so impressed with the outcome of the art imagining that this was painted by a woman ,much more impressed i wish i have a talent like yours , i cant even draw a perfect manga face :)

Whomever produced this chose the perfect music ans sync'd it so well with the video, it was quite moving. To say that I freaking loved it is an understatement. Best of all was the artwork itself...fascinating to the point of putting me into a trancelike state (in a good way). Moving and brilliant...and thank you for sharing it.
The Music Really Complimented this piece i love how they intertwined together and when the song climaxed the piece did too I Loe The Color Intensity . This Was Just Beautiful.

All of your paintings are amazing btw. I was thinking about dabbling in watercolor and watching your videos inspires me. I usually use acrylic and pastels but always admired watercolor.
You have to stretch your paper. You must soak your paper for a couple of minutes in water, remove it, shake of excess and sponge lightly. Take gum tape and tape your paper down like you have been doing (gum tape becomes adhesive when water is applied) and then leave the paper to dry. The paper will then not buckle when painted on. Hope this helps!
