hi i got this plane body for 5 bucks, no battery and no remote control, rest is there working (all servos and control boards...)...any idea how i can make it fly again?
I kinda like the idea of the plastic and I wish the Eachine F4u had a plastic ring around the front because when mine lands and is a little front heavy, the foam hits the ground and gets chipped away in chunks on concrete anyway. I can't always find grass to fly in. Not sure if this plastic would act as a guard or not.
Hi Albert, Great review! I think I might have found a solution to the tip stall issue... I stuck a 5 gram weight to the nose and re-routed the antenna to go towards the nose. I also bound it to my Jumper T8-SG V2 Plus TX and fly it on 3D mode with coupled rudder to ailerons on a switch when I’m going low and slow. Flies really nice now! Cheers, Daniel.
Actually I got mine for 58€ during the Aliexpress sales. To be honest for this price range, I haven't seen any better RTF kits. It is very fun to fly and it just looks gorgeous. It is a little bit heavier than A600 s. Doing acrobatics on A600 was definitely a lot easier. However this plane has also a very nice flight characteristics. Thanks for the video and for the contributions you make to FPV and RC community. You are one of my favourite RUclipsrs.(Albert Kim, Gal Kremer and Painless360). Happy flying. Cheers :)
I just bought this airplane. I am a beginner and don't really know what I am doing, so I intend to follow your advice closely. I am just assembling it now. Frankly, I need all the advice I can get!😉
Got some great news for owners of this plane. I positioned the aerial instead of going towards the back of the plane to the front of the plane so it goes under the cockpit. It flies really good now with no glitches. Would be interesting if others have the same success.
Good review as usual ! A quick video on how to bind this plane to a T16 would be great! I find the remote on this plane is the weakest link. Just too vague/imprecise feel to it.
Good review, looks very nice in the air.Would like to see a video showing setup with a full featured radio..Ive got 2 Champs that are fun to fly, lots of mods available on youtube, and spare parts too.
That plane has got a serious problem with stalls. I think its in the in the rudder sometimes the rudder will go hard over and that causes the stall or death spiral. wiggle the controls on the ground and you can probably get it to do it. I heard somebody say it helped to put the rudder clevis in the outer hole of the control horn. I am receiving one today in the mail and if mine does it (it probably will). I am going to un-hook my rudder and just fly it on 3 channels. good luck with yours and take care.
Hello, I wanted to ask you a question, I am a beginner. My a160 drops as soon as I cast it. I think the problem is the esc. When I connect the controller, the esc makes noise (interference noises). Does your esc make noise when the controller is connected? Thanks
Product listings on all the websites I have seen say the foam is EPP. Are you sure it is actually EPO, or was that an error when you said that in the video at 0:58?
THE PROBLEM IS ACTUALLY with the Gyro/Stabilization system intermittently giving full left rudder lock and if not high enough to recover will take you DOWN! I've actually tested it on the bench and was able to make it happen!
@@AlbertKimTV I've only had mine a few weeks. While I was doing the many repairs, regluing motor mount, the cowl together, making a new wing spar from part of a bamboo Skewer, gluing the little fake motors to the inside of the cowl replacing the prop, you know just general maintenance lol, I set it up on the bench facing me (prop off) in stable mode, picked it up by wingtips and maneuvered it in all the positions it would see in flight, U, D, L, R and brought it back to the same spot on the bench, all was straight, then I did all the same moves with the motor running as in-flight and came back to the bench and the rudder was a full lock left! Hmmm, but then when I turned/moved the plane (tail) left the rudder would straighten to neutral but would go back to the full left when brought back to the original center position on the bench where it should have been neutral! Gyro has a flaw! ;-( I have an email to the seller I got it from on EBay (Manufacturer?) They asked for a video which I'm in the process of making to see what they have to say. Just thought I'd mention it. PS, So far every !!! One that has tested and reviewed this plan has had the same problem, well except for the ones that didn't show it in their videos. LOL
Not as good as the Eachine warbirds series ie. mustang p51, Trojan t-28, and Corsair f4u. The official Eachine store on Aliexpress had them on sale for $60.

What a great little flyer! The real Piper J-3 Cub is a fun airplane to fly as well!!! Nice review.
I have bought this RC plane, can't wait for it to come in the mail!!!! I am glad to see it flies great, see you in the air!''!''✈🛩

Stay in beginner mode. Don't use too much rudder. I'm not sure there is much you can do about the tip stalls though.
Nice video! Sad to see that a cub at this size still wants to tip stall. Pls make a video on how to bind it to an open tx multi radio. Thanks!
Good one Albert. Yes, may we see how it flies on the Jumper please, particularly in non-stabilised mode? Cheers!

So the glitches are actually a failsafe?
@@AlbertKimTV my glitches were the plane wasn't responding to the transmitter consistently

Hola. Acabo de ver en un canal italiano que el problema se solucionó con un condensador de 330μf en el ESC.😊

Beautiful looking airplane, Albert! Really nice! 😃
Great flying and review!!!

There was another comment that said they moved the antenna to the pilot cockpit area and that solved the problem. I'm gonna give this a try.
Like how you review quads and planes. Keep it up 👍
Thanks! 👍
hi Albert. how can I fly using NO stabilished mode?

Mine doesn't make noise. Your's is likely defective.
@@AlbertKimTV Thank you very much for your reply. I'm going to try to change the esc. I hope to find the solution.
Nice review sir and definitely like to see it flown on the tx16s radiomaster thanks, stay safe and with my best regards from Alan in the UK 👍👍😊😊
I'll be flying it on the Jumper T12 Pro.
The audio sounds really strange for some reason, like an echo or wind suppression of some sort near the beginning.. 1:00

How is this compared to volantex sport cub?

can i use xk k110 FUTABA with this plane
Nice scale plane, I may get one.
Like you from korea :D weather is amazing
does it come with a bind and fly version ?
Not right now. Probably won't

It felt like EPO foam to me but if they say it's EPP foam, I must have guessed wrong.

How much air volume does it hold??
yess ive been waiting for vids
Flight time?
17 mins approx
my handset beeps constantly! is it supposed to...
batteries are low in voltage
Just got mine yesterday! Kinda afraid to fly it.
Just keep your airspeed up and it flies well.

I'd rather like to see this with a crossfire receiver.
THE PROBLEM IS ACTUALLY with the Gyro/Stabilization system intermittently giving full left rudder lock and if not high enough to recover will take you DOWN! I've actually tested it on the bench and was able to make it happen!
I suspected that was also a cause. Probably due to a faulty BEC on the main board.

It’s flying to fast for a stall .looks like a rc / gyro CG problem not lack of air speed !
See the follow up video. Turns out it's the FC/gyro causing the rudder to freak out. That's the cause of the crashes.
