- Continuing on from last weeks episode, we're on the hunt to catch our dinner and search for some big Cape York Crocodiles. Whether its from the mangroves or from fishing in the river we need to catch our food to survive out here. Hopefully Barramundi and Mud Shell are on the menu tonight, cooked on the fire around our hammock camp. This is Australian camping at its best.
Another ripper of an episode...those mud shells looked tasty as!! Great episode Nath and Dane....loved the drone footage and the crocs, that was quite an interesting fish that Dane landed also....first time seeing and hearing about em....keep up the excellent work boys and I'm already stoked and looking forward to the next one!! Excellent episode guys, those mud shells looked delicious. Love the drone footage. Well here we go mate, the crushed nuts didn't work very well by the way!. Cheryl is now grading your crocs between Sellotape & Gaffer tape, seem to be working well. We couldn't get nothing like the mud shells, so near starving my little hunter gatherer came up trumps with a bag of frozen calamari!! Anyway the hammocks look good in the lounge...Looking forward to your next episode already, keeping us warm, minus 6 here this morning!. Take care....
Oh no you should’ve left the calamari in the freezer for the fish guts episode. Believe it or not when we cook up fish guts it’s very similar to calamari… that’s coming up in a few weeks so prepare the living room for that! I hope you guys aren’t showering before getting into the hammocks either, you need to turn the heat up and get sweaty and dirty before climbing in at night. See you next week guys

They’re amazingly stealth aren’t they! Sometimes not even a ripple is left. They have the conscious thought of disappearing without leaving a trace.

Great work fellas. Ya ever looked for those mud mussels closer to home? Lots of mangroves down in the southern Moreton bay islands where I live.

Im running Ray Marine Element 12inch and Ray Marine Axiom 12 inch and love them. I find the Axiom just a little better as its all touch screen.

I admire what you do fellas, I was hearing the mosquitoes singing into the microphone in the mangroves and thought I wonder how long I would last in there. Then it got me thinking if I ran back to the boat I wouldn't be able to jump in for a swim or a Croc might get me lol.

Cool content guys I’m a subscriber and watch all your videos… The only thing with the mud muscles they used to be a secret indigenous bush tucker feed… Showing how easy they are to catch Kiwi’s will get hold of them and rape and pillage the whole lot and then they end up becoming endangered or extinct… I’m not racist mates I’m just telling you how it is

Another cool episode mate! Perfect Friday night after 9 days on the trot underwater chasing abs! I’m wrecked, haha, but a couple quiet whiskeys watching you bloody legends with another epic catch and cook is just the way to finish it off! I’m still yet to try mud shell, looks delicious, we get mud cockle or vongole here which taste amazing, look similar but are only small! And those threads mate! Those and the blue variety fresh taste sensational don’t they! Mmmmm

I had to deal with amy from mayko and was treated so rude by her and the manager. They never wanted to help with an issue with there sun glasses. There new owners and dont give a shit about there customers at all.

Hey fellas, it’s amazing how the crocs are so aware of their surroundings even the drone spooks them, I guess that’s why they have been around forever.

I think the best before this episode was 5 or 6, but so many episodes after you guys spent hours looking for them with no luck, but then the Mother Load, so glad for you guys finding them, and can’t wait for my turn to find one. My GU's build for long periods off grid touring, something you don't know, I've had a 3 year Battle / Fight with cancer which we're on top of now, still get treatment once a month to keep it away. But you guys show there's more to life for me than just sitting waiting for treatments etc wasting life away ( I'm not after sympathy )
Life's short & Ya don't know or total realise properly until SHIT hits the fan.

I like the balance of what you show within each episode.. personally I love fishing but I think in your reflection at the end put into words why I like fishing . It’s getting into nature, exploring it, adventures and learning from nature. There is something so soothing and calming to the soul in what you do.
