So much for the fans, not even a wave....we went to see The Damned a few weeks later at the same venue and ended up talking to Dave Vanian and Captain Sensible after the show who signed our merchandise and were just really nice to their fans. Even the Security guy told me that Morrissey was very stand-offish with them as well. It's a shame really because it's them (us) who got these people where they are. Met Morrissey once in a pub in London in the mid 90s while I was out on a date where Moz was out with his manager and again, not much conversation went on..his manager was chatting to us and we had a great time and a few laughs. I even got a round in and bought Morrissey a Pint of Fosters at the Seabright Arms off the Hackney Road.
