@@MISSriannalouise try an egg olive oil and mayonnaise hair mask, mix everything together and put in on your hair mostly from the middle till ends of your hair, whatever is left on top, wrap with a plastic bag and leave from 30 minutes to an hour and wash and condition, i used to straighten my hair everyday in high school and one day I burned it, this hair mask saved my hair, do it once or every two weeks, I promise you'll love the results ❤️

I went out and bought the products from ULTA today after watching this video yesterday. Omg. The difference in my hair! No frizz! So much volume and softness! And girl, that definition! Goodbye glycerin products! This seriously made a huge difference with my hair in Houston, TX...in case any of my fellow Houston curlies are curious.
I'm not sure I'm sold on the rock a wave as my hair soaked it up like a hungry monster and almost couldn't tell I applied it. Also was no slip for me. Want to try the mousse but scared it's sticky and hair feels product heavy when dry.
I literally have frizz problems for a few weeks now, not knowing exactly why, and here you come with the perfect solution and explanation WHY it is frizzy! Gotta change up my styling routine!

I love winter. My hair looks the best because it doesnt frizzy. Now that I live in Florida that has extreme humidity I rarely have a good hair day. But this cold front has my hair on point.

Through trial and error I had already excluded glycerin from my styling products due to frizz. I live in Scotland, where it has been really cold for weeks. I don't really get flat hair as it is thick and course textured, with a similar curl pattern to Amanda. My hair always needs tamed so shea butter and oil rich products do work on my hair. My hair is highlighted/dry/high porosity/course textured so I regularly deep condition and use oils to smooth/seal the cuticle. We also get a lot of rain here (occasional snow) so frizz is a daily battle. I look forward to the rest of the series. Best wishes.

I totally agree with Mel❤ I was only using moisturizing products and my hair experienced moisture overload 😥 I am afraid of using protein on my hair because my hair doesn't do too well with protein. But I finally found a leave in that gives me the proper balance of both moisture and protein and gives me an AMAZING foundation for styling. Thank you seesters for sharing this video 😘

The "frizzy" version of your hair looks 10 times better than my hair when I try my hardest! I dont know what im doing wrong. I have so much frizz and my hair lies flat on the parts that touch against my back and shoulders so I get a half curl, half straight hairstyle. Its like my curls wont make up their mind! I've tried everything and bankrupted myself lol hair care for curly girls add up!!

After washing and de tangling pour a line of mousse on a wide tooth comb and comb it into my hair in sections. Then scrunch with my hands and next with a microfiber towel. Last I air dry and scrunch out the crunch and have lovely defined curls.
I’m a new subscriber. I have been watching tons of curly girl hair routines. My hair in more wavy. I didn’t have wavy hair until about 6 years ago. I have spent 100$ on so many products that didn’t work for me.
I always let my hair air dry as it frizzes to much. I’ll look for your hair drying video. I have lots to learn.

I’m naturally high porosity myself and coarse wavy 2b/2c and love protein so much! The CHI keratin shamp and condish are my current faves. Also, when I use a lot of cream, it does weight it down.

Hi Mell! My sister and I live on Vancouver Island and as you may or may not know, winters on the "Wet Coast" are well, very wet and not that cold. It doesn't freeze or snow often . My hair is like yours and my sister has hair like Amanda's.

So I’m shook. I’ve had a hard time figuring out my fall/winter routine in Houston, TX since the weather is so inconsistent. My mane could not hold a curl and it has no volume (wavy hair problems). Then this!
The EVA NYC primer and mousse are amazing!! Like wow. So far I’m on day 4 and hair is glorious! Without this video I wouldn’t have considered the brand either..crazy!

I actually tried this routine last night (with cg products) and it worked really well! Normally I don’t let go of my staple gel but very amazing with the results!

I’d love to see a video of you guys going to Walmart or target and viewing and possibly trying their products, and what you guys recommend and don’t recommend. I tend to go more to these stores to buy my products when I am lower on cash simply because the prices are more affordable, but I would definitely love to see your guys’ opinions; and to see if I am getting the most out of my options at these stores.

Selvana Evans not your mothers curl talk line. Better than all the rest imo. And always buy one get one half off at ulta. 7.99 each. Conditioner is a three in one. But I use in shower and out. Then curl cream then mousse then gel. My kids compliment that routine so much. Deva curl never lasted more than a day or two without water and refreshing. With a bonnet NYM will last most of the week. Dry shampoo roots with volume dry shampoo of roots too oily. But this line might not cause it to get oily because you won’t need to wash as much.

ngl i left my house one day with dripping wet hair and my hair literally froze; HOWEVER, when it dried, my curls were so soft and springy and there was no frizz. i definitely dont recommend going out in cold weather with dripping wet hair, but this experience really showed me how beneficial using cold air on curly hair is in comparison to heat
