It may be strange for a Brit to be saddened at the closure of an American steel plant, but I have fond memories of an enjoyable (unofficial) tour of the Bethlehem Steel plant with one of the plant foremen (great guy). That was my first ever visit to the USA, when my ship was discharging a cargo of Canadian iron ore to the plant in 1973. Two subsequent visits to Baltimore were for coal at Curtis Bay. I hope the new plant, although smaller, does provide stable employment.
It's tragic because these industries were how many average people escaped poverty, led comfortable and secure lives, and were able to lift the next generation into college. Deindustrialization has destroyed these union jobs and nothing has replaced them.

Looking forward to attending the event in 2022 😁
steel fabrication, not steal making there is a difference. Either way will still be jobs though.
Good paying jobs as well.
Best you could ask for is 1000 new fork truck jobs, O'mally finished off this factory with regulation
O’mally fuck a lot of stuff up
Shout out to Fred who made the statue out front of the museum.
Brandon Scott couldn't roll up an electric line at quitting time let alone roll one out and plug one in to get the day started.
Big loss to demolish this factory
