I like a bed thats soft but still has good support. About to order this one and test it for the 100 days. Hopefully it's what I need. Currently have a really old king bed with 2 memory foam pads that are ripping apart all over and causing severe hip and back pain. Looks like I can get a queen for about 1600 with the foundation, frame and 2 free pillows. Just hope its the right feel and comfort for what I like. I guess if it isn't I can replace it with a softer helix.
For a lightweight side sleeper they should feel about the same! The main difference would be the euro-top layer on the Luxe will feel plusher initially and could offer slightly more pressure relief to a side sleeper, but that really wouldn’t come in to play with someone under 130 lbs. both models should feel pretty comfy IMO
You can get a great deal on the Helix Midnight by clicking this link! www.sleepfoundation.org/go/helix-midnight-mattress-yt
Thanks for the review - I’m mattress shopping. Also, thanks for all of your work at the Sleep Foundation.
The Helix sounds like it might be a really good option for me.

How was it?
Great review! I really loved this info about the Helix
What is the difference between this one and the luxe version?
Good advice and detail in this review, Thank You!
Thanks for the review. Is Helix Midnight or Helix Midnight Luxe for under 130 lbs side sleepers or is it about the same? Thank you!

@@SleepIsTheFoundation Thank you very much!
Which mattress would be the best for heavy side sleepers?
Great question! We cover some of our top picks in this video: ruclips.net/video/usJbrdENzGg/видео.html
How would you rate longevity of this mattress? Are the pocketed coils going to hold up for 10-15 years or more like 5-8?
We strongly suggest replacing any mattress after about 5-8 years, and the Helix Midnight would be no exception!
Looks like it might suit me.
I'm not sure if I would like memory foam
