    I added Summo springs on my Ford F-150 prior to a summer trip to Alaska. On the road for 10 weeks and 12,000 miles towing a travel trailer.
    Couldn’t be more pleased with the performance.

    Thanks for sharing your build. Many good weight saving ideas, cost efficient product sourcing, worth emulating! Congrats on finding a suspension solution that works. Have been using Road Master springs on my Gen 1 Tundra for 80K+ miles of hauling and towing, and find them also to work great. Best Wishes.

    I run Sumo springs on my Tacoma, they really do work. Something weird is they turn black in a few months. Crazy.

    I wanted a project m for my 1st gen taco but they said they dont make it for the 1st gen 😭 dimensions look pretty close. I got a 97 4x4 auto reg cab, did you have to regear?

      I’m surprised they don’t offer one that would fit. Did you call the Rancho location in California? They have been pretty good answering questions. And no, no need to regear. 4 cylinder manual trans handles it very well. The 4 cylinder automatics are slugs🐌 tho

      @@tealtopper2351 I have a regular hi roof topper, but I want one but at the same time I dont think I need it as much as I have a house and really would only go once a month on the weekends.

    I have a similar Tundra. What is the piece on the inside of the tailgate?

    • @tealtopper2351
      @tealtopper2351  3 года назад

      It’s a non corrugated tailgate insert. Kind of pricey for what it is, but worth it. It’s briefly in my other video “sealing my FWC”

    wha's approximately the weight for your post-built camper?

      They said just under 500 lbs, when I picked it up

    Idk if it’s just me but you definitely look like you need air bags bc your leaf springs are almost completely flat...

      @tealtopper2351  3 года назад

      Yeah I just need new leaf springs. I over loaded this poor taco too many times and I feel the leafs are damaged 😩

    What was your gas mileage drop roughly ?

      Dropped to 17-18 very pleased. Actually better then when I had my roof top tent. Believe it or not
