Thank you. I was just gifted this Dyson without the manual so your easy to understand explanation of this vacuum is wonderful! Thank you for doing this.
I got a DC35 Multifloor second hand this year and when I got it it would run for a couple minutes and shut off I would release the trigger and press it again and it would start up again. Come to find out the battery was shot. I think mine is a 2012 model so 8 years old and needed a battery replacement. I’m hoping my V7 never needs a battery replacement(I’ve had it just a little over a year.
Mine is not reliable. The bin was replaced under warranty due to poor electrical contacts. The first battery died after four years so I bought a new one. The motor failed after four years, so I bought a new rear unit. Recently the power would cut out after a few seconds, then after a few seconds come back etc. Oddly enough when I bought a V10, the last issue went away. So overall it is very poor quality. However, the DC35 was free. Sainsbury’s forgot to debit my account! I was wary of buying a V10, fingers crossed.
WalksWithTurkeys all dysons will have this battery problem my friends one lasts 5 minutes on hi and 1 min on low if you’re lucky they slowly decline in efficiency after years
Since I bought the new Light Ball, I'm using it less. But I think that's a novelty thing. The unhook-and-vac approach of the cordless vacuums is very convenient.

Great video. Great review with good editing!!! I have a DC44 Animal (model up from this) and I love it
Excellent and very informative review covering just about everything you need to know about this product..thanks!!!
This isn't sold anymore. I've got equivalent reviews of the latest products though, which are far superior since technology has moved on.

How weird; in contrast mine was issue free for all the years I had it. The V10 also hasn't given me a bit of trouble. The V11 looks great.

Mathrax No. From a major supermarket, as stated.
I have the V6 Total Clean. Not a day goes by when I don’t use it.

If Dyson bring out a Light Ball with cinetic technology and a self-cleaning shroud then I will buy one.
Removable battery?!
Achetez plutôt un bon aspirateur, bien plus puissant et fiable, et qui n'a pas besoin LUI d'être sans cesse nettoyé....Dyson de la merde !
