- This is Week 10 of training for my first ever marathon which will be the Berlin Marathon on September 29th. I had the privilege of running with my Fiance Jenny which is very rare because of our children. This is also an appreciation video for everyone that supports runners or workers with holding the home and ensuring the homes are filled with love and care.
Oh yeah, @RUclips sent me an LED light, that's almost a plaque right? lol

My favourite runs ever are the runs with my wife. Those runs always have more smiles and laughs.
They are always a joy when they happen!
When my wife did a bit of running 20 - 30 years ago, I used to joke about running together.
She would joke back that I could never run at her pace; she was right of course 😅

Aubrey you getting the train into London on Sunday? There are major issues with Southern trains which will impact journey times etc... I can't get into London on time for my start wave so now can't go. Roads all around area are closed off from 0600 so driving ain't an option either so looks like I've lost my money. Just wanted to mention it so you can check you'll not have any issues?

Facts about the short shorts: when I first started running it’s always basketball shorts..now I run in 5 inch shorts 😂

I run with my wife 90% of the time and its precious. Even though we run at different paces, we start and finish at the same spot. It's usually me waiting for her but gives me the oportunity to cheer her on and yell support to the finish... I also find if you want to have your partner understand your hobby, get them involved. It also makes buying that new running product easier ( without worrying your going to get in touble hehe)... or more expensive ( you end up buying two) ❤ oh BTW Happy Birthday to Jenny!

I VERY rarely run with anyone else, but I ran with a friend who was training for a half marathon at the time. I was only doing 5k's and that's about it. She really pushed me and made me realize I could do so much more.
That’s the power of company. I will look into a club as well when I’m done with the marathon.
That hill you talked about, you have a Stryd, run up hill using your average power, same down hill, will save your legs and you keep running at the right intensity.

I’ve just started using the Runna app as well, and thinking about changing to a Garmin watch, do you get voice prompts still through your headphones you wear ???

@@AubreyRunning FYI, got enough of Garmin and their over priced pieces of plastic and switched to SUUNTO Race S. Got for it in case you don’t mind starting fresh and leaving music on your phone. No brainer!
