    Thanks for sharing. That's our app in the first few minutes! Interesting to see how it's trying to reconnect over and over again on that document. Is this a US passport?

      Hey Martijin, thanks for your awesome work on the TagInfo app... the test was conducted on a US Passport. I wasn't sure why the app was having issues reading it, I think the Nexus 7 tablet I was using was failing to excite it properly.

    Is there a tool you can use to locate an rfid chip like the one that’s in the passport?

    • @FlomioTV
      @FlomioTV  5 лет назад

      What do you mean by "locate"? Like where to purchase chips like ones in passports? Or to discover where the chips are placed in an ePassport?

    Hey thanx for the video. A stupid question.....can the information on a passport be demagnetized? Because i layed a magnetic screwdriver on my passport........thx

    • @grundyri
      @grundyri 3 года назад

      No, the info can't be corrupted by a magnet. If you put it in the microwave, then it could fry the chip.

    Can we clone or rewrite different data on Passport RFID?

    • @FlomioTV
      @FlomioTV  6 лет назад

      Cloning is technically possible but you would need physical access to the inside and outside of the passport. This is because the visible number on the inside is the key to unlocking the info on the outside (via NFC/RFID). There isn't any way to rewrite the Passport RFID though.
