Estrada Real is the largest tourist route in the country. They are more than 1,630 kilometers long, passing through Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Today, it rescues the traditions of the route, valuing the identity and the beauties of the region.
Its history emerges in the middle of the 17th century, when the Portuguese Crown decided to make the official roads for gold and diamonds from Minas Gerais to the ports of Rio de Janeiro. The trails that were delegated by royalty got the name Estrada Real.
