This remake is far from stupid. It’s actually pretty great! An original “It’s such a shame” part is always a great thing. No jumpscare in the intro like in penguh’s version. The spelling mistakes actually make it look more bootleg since of the misspelling. “Footage could not be uncovered” was good too. 2:48 was a great scream at just the right volume and just the right level of mysterious, unlike penguh’s version where it’s earbleeding. The crying is reused but there is no weird creepy guy behind her. 3:40 I love the swift animation of her head moving towards the DVD. Also at 4:12 it returning to the DVD menu and having a new tape called “Rest_In_Pease_Max” where the “Death is our only release” thing is is not only original but also something nobody has ever done before. You should be proud of yourself for trying btw, this was a great remake. Final Rating: 8/10 (Would be Great on PigPigGamer’s Tier List)
