I work in customer service/tech support for a Swedish Internet Service Provider and I approve this message! I always tell all customers to do this while they complain about having to follow a mess of cables, telling me how incompetent they themselves are...
Fact: Every company should have a specific Cable Color and feeling so you can easily sort them out without having to go from the start of the cable to the end of the cable
When rolling cables, twist one loop forward, then one backward, over and over. It rolls up looking the same, but it will unroll straight, with no twist at all.
When cables are used they should never be rolled and be as loose as they can, idk about these ones but with construction tools they can catch fire if the cable is rolled

Depending on your desk, large binder clips are handy to guide cables. I clip them over the 1" top of my desk, and run my speaker cords along the edge. Also, they can be used like this for managing cords that often need to be retracted. For example, I clip medium sized binder clips onto my hanging laptop power chord to to weigh it down and automatically retract it when I unplug (this cord always stays attached to my desk).
