Meta4ce ODOT - No one doubts that Garage originated in NYC but UK Garage and US Garage are totally different sounds. And yeah Grime is a mix of various other genres, but that’s how any genre of music is formed. Every new sound has roots in other genres so I don’t really know what your point is.

Brime it's because people over here are starting to actuall put our on sounds influences on tracks, for a example take samples from Brazilian funk, samba... And mix together, because at this point artist were only using and getting influence from a UK based sound, that didn't really have characterist of the everyday life in Brazil.
People say grime over here, but that Brime thing is just a nickname.
