She's still getting so much hate and so many people go to concerts just to wait for her to mess up for half a second and then write an essay on it. It wouldn't make me want to perform tbh but she still makes such an effort and puts on a smile.

During the "Lazy Scandal" there is video evidence, as well as a photo evidence that she was injured. Hell She was onstage with BlackPink during a preformance and injured her ankle on the stairs, almost falling down them.
Jennie was often seen in a walking brace for her ankle, having one or both ankles tapped up, as well as her using cruches(and seeing them in the background of a number of videos).
Jennie didn't get enough time to recover properly, and it's probably why it went on for so long. She even reinjured herself.
And it's been indicated that she actually INJURED herself agian, just around the time of the comeback for BornPink(in practice, I think). We don't know what the injury is but... Companies don't give Idols time to properly heal, and they keep going. THAT IS NOT GOOD.
Jennie also gets winded/tired easier than the others, she even states this in "Light Up The Sky"... as a result she conserves her energy in practice and sound checks.
After training and suffering for more than 6 years as a trainee, do you really think that one will go in front of a huge crowd and be lazy? Does that even make sense??
More likely, she has some health issues and was most likely disorientated and unwell. Jennie said many times that she has a very weak body and is always unwell.

Man, I remember that time when they announced Jennie's Solo debut. It was really bad, so much hate left and right it was crazy. I mean, she had to deal with the concert schedule, then her solo project, and then with her ankle, not healing well. All at the same time. She must have been so tired and then saw all the hate and death threats she got online. I was so scared for her, but I'm happy that she has great support from her members and her family.
Queen of kpop herself
The amount of hate videos of Jennie and blackpink on RUclips with millions of views, shows other k-pop groups fans are obsessed with blackpink, they would rather watch blackpink hate videos than watch their favourite group.
All four queens of Blackpink have brought more joy and entertainment to the world than most other kpop groups. Anyone who complains about the money they spent in seeing them in concert due to some perceived 'lazy' dancing should have just stayed home. Truth is, anyone who obsesses over idols to the point of criticizing them online is not really concerned with idols and the kpop industry - they are dealing with self-image and self-love issues and taking it out on the music artists who are successful in their own right without needing the approval of these petty people. It's very simple - don't like a group or an artist? Don't listen and don't watch. No reason to obsess and blame them for their success. To each their own.

The hate is unjustified. None of the "scandals" even deserve to be called that. Kpop fandom has driven countless idols to suicide and they don't seem to care the damage they can cause.
SM Entertainment created the K-POP trainee system during the mid-1990s. Due to how successful it was, all the other Korean entertainment agencies adopted it and standardized on it.
The system was originally modeled on the South Korean military conscription system of training due to how effective it was in creating highly motivated and trained soldiers with high degrees of team work. Even though it was effective at creating highly disciplined and trained team members, it was rife with (verbal and physical) abuse.
Due to complaints about the intensity, conditions, and stress of the K-POP trainee system, the South Korean Government passed several reforms in 2013. Those reforms improved the conditions and health of trainees. The reforms also required companies to prioritize the trainees education and health, over the training.
The reforms also established the standard trainee and artist contracts, which the Gov would oversee and audit, in order to ensure the trainee/artist rights were being upheld.
More reforms were passed in 2018 to address foreign trainees in the K-POP system due to reports of discrimination due to being foreigners. These reforms required companies to not treat foreign trainees/artists differently than their Korean counterparts. The reforms also provided a method for trainees to anonymously report companies to the Gov.
More reforms were passed in 2023 addressing minors in the K-POP trainee system due to public pressure that the Gov must do something to ensure the wellbeing of minors in the system. These reforms placed new limits on the amount of hours a minor could work and required companies to implement mandatory time off due to poor education and health concerns. The term "work" was also redefined to include all the time used for training, practicing, promoting, and performing.
The majority of the complaints about the draconian training system occurred before the 2013 reforms (it took companies 1-3 years to get compliant with the reforms) and talked about by the 1st through 3rd gen K-POP artists that endured them. The 4th gen artists and the current crop of trainees have made no offical complaints about their training conditions.
Blackpink is a 3rd gen K-POP group and all of the members experienced the older (pre-reform) training regime.
I love Jennie, and I could never do or achieve even a tenth of what she has and she isn’t even my bias. People always want to tear down anyone who stands out and has talent that they themselves are jealous of. She’s amazing and I’m looking forward to OA and her full solo album she is releasing this year. I will always love and support all four members of BlackPink. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are all so amazing, talented, and possess massive drive. They will be amazing in their individual careers as well as their continued group activities as BlackPink.

The worst of all is that now it is rumored that Jennie is dating Taehyung (V) from BTS, which is one of the globally recognized Kpop boy groups like Blackpink, and if it was very badly taken with Kai from Exo, now it is worse. The truth is Jennie doesn't deserve all this. 😞💗

Idols are people and deserve their own private life. Blackpink, BTS, and EXO members are all adults and veteran artists. Fans obsessing over their favorite idols' relationships has always been a ridiculous and laughable concept. As if they should have a say in the matter lmao

The reason Blackpink has always stayed relevant despite not having frequent comebacks is not only because of their songs/MVs/other activities but also because haters and fans of other groups can't seem to get the girls out of their mouth 😂. Then they complain about BLACKPINK still being popular when they themselves are the culprit. Good job haters!

WE LOVE JENNIE!!! People LOVE how boss she is. The REAL telling moments are when she is on camera with the other girls,.... Look at the pride and love in her face when someone else is shining. If she was a stone cold diva,.. that wouldn't be there. Her bandmates LOVE her, because she is completely behind them and was there every step of the way. every artist leave YG became success by make their own company, cuz YG allowed them to continue with the name when they under YG. Most of company don't allowed their artis to do that. For artist YG is the best

YG didn't expect Blackpink to became that big outside S.Korea , although they know how to make bangers after bangers YG in fact didn't know how to manage the group properly.
The positive thing about YG is the freedom they give outside idols life and that the company's paychecks for their artists are big big around 80%- 90% from all the profit of every project is going to their artists and 20%-10% for the company which is the only company doing so in k-pop. The k-pop community a.k.a the fandoms are also to be blamed for , extremely toxic and hateful fans are lurking in this whole circus

I'm Canadian, and this "comeback" thing(every 3-4 months ish) is really NOT a thing ANYWHERE else except Korea. A "comeback" is something an artist does when they've been away for A LONG TIME. A few months isn't a long time. And often the many "come backs" are a drain on the Idols and don't benefit them.
Many Groups/Singers, everywhere else, "MIGHT" come out with something new Once every year or two.

Yes! This is definitely the only thing you see with South Korea! Fans from other fandoms complain about how Blackpink has such a limited discography, but if we look at the U.S and other countries where YG takes influence from, those countries artists usually drops 1 song a year and then later works on their album and drops it a different year.
Idk about these kpop fans, but most of them ASSume that kpop idols should have music every year to release to their fans, when composing or making a good music takes up most of the time in order to figure out which song fits the persona of the group.

How they train? She trained 6 years, the equivalent of a Masters in Entertainment, should she have studied or trained in a regular university.
I noticed her lack of energy on lives before hearing the lazy accusations. Ankle injuries do not make you lack in the upper body movements. The RBF expressions only makes it appear wprse than it really is. Recently, Lisa had a shoulder injury and it was only brought up by other members and never showed during the concerts minus the ones where she skipped the pole dance.
I never thought less of Jennie, just noticed the difference between her and the other members. She does appear to have a lot more on her mind than the other members, especially in their early years.
