They certainly tried... but yeah. They should have brought in a singer that was similar to the one who did the CN and JP versions, which made it really feel like No.21 was the one singing. She was very light, relaxing, and airy.

The lyrics are kinda weird, but I kinda understand that localization is really hard. Instead of trying to translate the literal meaning of the song, it'd be better for the team to change the lyrics entirely while keeping the theme of summer on the song. Even as a non-native speaker, I feel confused by reading the lyrics. Still, good job Kuro! The voice is very lovely, wish you guys would hire the singer again 🥰
