  • Professor Loeb received a Ph.D. in plasma physics at age 24 from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1986) and was subsequently a long-term member at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton (1988-1993), where he started to work in theoretical astrophysics. In 1993 he moved to Harvard University where he was tenured three years later.
In 2021, Avi founded the Galileo Project whose goal is to bring the search for extraterrestrial technological signatures of Extraterrestrial Technological Civilizations (ETCs) from accidental or anecdotal observations and legends into the mainstream of transparent, validated, and systematic scientific research. This ground-based project searches for physical objects, rather than electromagnetic signals, associated with extraterrestrial technological equipment.

I once had an employee who was a physics student at Dalhousie University tell me that he felt that to properly study advanced math and physics, one MUST have a great imagination and be able to think in a non-linear fashion! I think that is true if we are to understand or simply wrap our heads around the extra terrestrial hypothesis and UAP'S. I appreciate where Avi is coming from.

    • @ChrisTian-uw9tq

Your wording made my skin goose bump up... non-linear... that's the best term I could come up from the number theory (recreational) I explore for the last 12 years... numbers not being linear in respect to functions and operations... like the string of +1 sequence linearly would be 123456789-> but in parallel other sequences are rooted and running in parallel as a result of the core sequence (just one example). Linear number sequences have within them further linear sequences, which can be plotted into a grid or a triangle shape or even into a torus shape.. wrapping numbers into 3d shapes... I have not the appropriate wording for this stuff as it is purely recreational and I learn and apply and explore for fun, not using text books or study materials.

Mr Jesse ! That was a great interview 👏 I love this man Mr Avi Loeb everytime I hear him reminds me of myself when I was a small boy lying on my back with one of my brothers on a Friday night in Puerto Rico back in the 70's just looking at the 🌟 stars counting the meteors falling or passing close by our planet and talking with each other about what other worlds 🌎 might be like 👍 I think that in my opinion there is a ton of possibilities there are much of not just intelligent civilizations but super intelligent civilizations working with each others in ways that we can't understand yet due to our lock of open mind in many cases. Our minds and brains are 10 times more efficient when we work and think in similar ways with each other to harvest the solutions to any problem questions or answers !! 😉 thank you both 🙂👍👌

I am scientist and this has been the topic that is dear to my heart. It is the reason I got a degree in physics and why I chose to get my PhD. I feel like I need a phd to be taken seriously about the issue. I have spoken to prominent astrophysicist at Columbia university, Harvard , Princeton, and Cornell about the topic of UFOs/UAPs and mostly get laughed off. There have been a few times where professors indulge my thoughts but far and in between. I have even had hour long conversations with Niel Degrasse Tyson about the subject. I have several arguments on why the scientific community should be taking this topic very seriously and why we should not continue to stigmatize its research. I know people at Harvard and Yale that criticize Avi for his open mindednesses. I am glad videos like this are becoming more common. Channels like this and theory of everything are giving the topic a more serious tone and legitimatizing it’s open discourse. That alone is a huge step in the right direction. I think there should be a crowd funded science projects with volunteer scientist and amateur scientist all over the world to advance our knowledge and create a publicly accessible database. Thanks for your videos!

Dr. Loeb is absolutely fascinating. Jesse, you are doing a great job of interviewing because you bring questions and information from earlier interviews into the conversation. Sometimes I feel you talk a little too much because we want to just listen to the person being interviewed, and hopefully that is why you are interviewing these brilliant people. I do appreciate how much you know, but that is not why I personally am tuning in to watch your videos. Keep asking those incredibly astute questions and I will continue watching.

While I don't agree with everything Loeb says, who am I to disagree?
Above all, Avi Loeb is exactly the man WE all need to get Disclosure happening, and it's a shame most scientists, instead of being open-minded and admitting there's at least the possibility the UAP do represent something exotic - not necessarily aliens - have tried to demolish or ignore Avi's interest.
I really hope Project Galileo does succeed
Thank you very much Jesse for your insightful interview and your interesting questions. A lovely quantum moment when you challenge Avi on the brain and communication with these beings. Two things can be right at the same time. Yes we need hardcore photos data proof that is generated by civilian not military. But I immediately am reminded that the “tic tac” disappeared then reappeared at the “cap point” that is the rendezvous point that only the pilot knew about..how could it “know” this? Unless it could decipher the computer where perhaps the coordinates were stored it must have had ability to access his brain functions and memory.

I submit the following for your consideration. As a sailor stationed aboard the ammunition ship USS Mauna Kea (AE-22) in 1972 while cruising the Tonkin Gulf off the coast of Vietnam, we were shadowed on a clear, moonless night, (approximately 2200 hours), with unlimited visibility, by a brightly illuminated spherical UFO/USO emanateing an orange, golden, and yellow hue. It performed seemingly impossible maneuvers by standards of any conventional aircraft, as it would accelerate from one horizon to the next in the blink of an eye, stop, execute erratic, zig-zag maneuvers, and do it repeatedly over a period of about 5 to 7 minutes. It was witnessed by multiple trained observers including bridge lookouts, before assuming a stationary position relatively close aboard on the port side of the ship, I would say approximately an eighth of a mile or less in distance, at a guesstimated height of roughly under 500 feet, and then slowly descending straight down, surreptitiously disappeared into the water, with calm seas of 0 to 1 feet. When it submerged, the water around it lit up like a Christmas tree before completely disappearing from sight after a few seconds. CIC (Combat Information Center) reported no radar contacts. It was not small by any means, and had to be at least 100 feet in diameter. I suspect it/they were interested in the nuclear weapons we were "not" (wink-wink) carrying, clandestinely transferring them via underway replenishment (UNREP) under cover of darkness, to another ship stationed starboard. During these operations of transferring nuclear weapons, everyone with the exception of the Gunners Mates assigned responsible for bringing the weapons up from the number two hole, where they were stored, were restricted to the interior decks. The goal obstensibly, was to minimize the eyes-on number of sailors from witnessing these transfers, but from the interior of the mess deck, anyone could easily just look out of one of the many portholes, and clearly see the entire process. It is of interest to note that President Nixon floated the idea of using nukes in Vietnam as late as 1972, in secretly recorded White House conversations with Henry Kissinger. Anyone can listen to these conversations just by going to RUclips and searching "Presidential Talk of War and Nuking Vietnam".
To further expound, as to the origin of UFOs/USOs/UAPs, I will just say this: I later went on in my time with the U.S. Navy, to become involved with a classified program known as SOSUS, which utilized passive, non-linear hydrophone arrays placed in strategic locations within the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, as well as the Bering, and Caribbean seas, to track and monitor surface and subsurface contacts, most notably Russian nuclear submarines. As an Ocean Systems Technician (OT) within this niche group of specialists, one of my OCONUS (Outside the Continental U.S.) shore-based remote duty stations, was a beta test platform tucked away in a far flung region of the world, where I and my colleagues worked alongside representatives of RCA, GE, and Western Electric while researching, developing and fine tuning bleeding edge, state-of-the-art underwater surveillance systems that could detect, and most importantly, triangulate with other stations, resulting in highly accurate latitude/longitude coordinates, at which time Navy P-3 Orion aircraft would be sent out to find, intercept, and prosecute the target. Once the aircraft arrived on station at the coordinates, devices known as Sonobouys would then be dropped, and upon impact with the surface of the water would deploy a hydrophone to detect the exact location, depth, course, and speed of the target. On more than one occasion, while stationed at various obscure, low profile innocuously named shore based Naval Facilities (NAVFACs) in various parts of the world, sub-surface targets were, on a regular basis acquired which implausibly were traveling well in excess of the capabilities of any known submarine, (up to 300 knots per hour), and then inexplicably disappear from the three dimensional analog devices utilizing time, frequency, and amplitude (sonograms), used to monitor and record all surface and subsurface targets. These fast moving targets were popularly referred to by the cadre of specialists of which I was a member, as "foo fighters", a term originally coined by the pilots and crews of planes conducting bombing missions over Germany in World War 2, for the unidentified flying objects known to shadow them, and vanish without a trace. Because of the sensitive nature of the work I performed, I held a security clearance which prohibited me from traveling to the then Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, or any Soviet bloc nation, for a period of 10 years following my involvement with the program, or to talk about it with any unauthorized personnel, or to write about it. But, the proverbial cat is out of the bag now. At the end of each duty shift the work I, and my colleagues around the world performed, both land based and ship based known as Towed Array Sound Surveillance -TASS), was compiled into situational reports (SITREPs), and was part of broad ranging comprehensive intelligence reports presented to the President of the United States and Joint Chiefs of Staff each morning as a daily briefing in Washington D.C. The work I performed was basically secret squirrel stuff, and I had the opportunity to learn my name in Russian in the event that the facility was ever overrun by the Ruskies.
To make a long story even longer, even though the U.S. government and the military attempts to highly compartmentalize intelligence gathering operations, (keeping it hidden from the public), once you're in a classified program, there are opportunities to interact with people involved with other secret squirrel operations other than your own usually in obscure out-of-the-way locations, and "stories" are sometimes swapped i.e., I saw this, I saw that, I heard this, I heard that, etc., the point being, the public and common citizenry at large has no concept of the level of black ops research programs there are dealing in and dealing with, subject matter (including, but NOT LIMITED to UFOs/UAPs/USOs that would seem like unfathomable, out of this world - as in extraterrestrial, interdimensional, extra-dimensional David Blaine mind f#ck science fiction. Think string theory, m-theory, quantum field theory, and high strangeness blended in with the inexplicably paranormal.

Great interview blows my mind ,your channel is great ,I've seen numbers of UAP's i followed one in my home town Yorkshire in the UK which i recorded in 1st march 2015 around 5:30pm before my phoned died i only managed to get 42 seconds of it, it made some strange maneuvers in the sky as i looked up before getting in my relatives vehicle i seen it moving to the right then moved back to left then shoot straight forward in the direction were i was heading home it then stopped in mid air not far from where i live but having to get home as my children was in the car....i thought i would be able to monitor it from my back yard but then couldn't see it as my neighbors tree was blocking the view....then only to be told later that night by my relative he had seen a flash of a neon blue light with his friend as they was heading down the same road it had stopped above. I've also seen around 4 more since plus the triangle ship with a large green light in the center with also lights on each point. But great channel great guests.

Jesse another great video, please get on Rumble also. Relying only on RUclips will both slow your growth and expose you to risk of censorship. Keep going and best of luck.

Hearing Prof Loeb is always refreshing. His healthy skepticism and objective approach to the phenomenon and the universe is just so rational. I love his scientific approach to start documenting everything that moves in our atmosphere. He has my deepest respect.

IMHO, Avi Loeb has the smartest view on this issue! Glad to see that Jesse invited him. Keep doing UAP stuff and I'll stick around.
