I never finished the original. Started it but didn't want it to end so I stopped playing before the end. Then picked up royal and decided I was going to beat it. Such a good game.
In Fable 2 I had 7 wives and 12 kids on 1 playthrough just for some lolz. And apparently prostitutes don't seem to care that much if you cheat. They'll get angry at each other for a little bit then act like nothing happened, for the most part it's easy to get away with it cause the spouses don't go to different parts of town. Another weird thing was I had an evil son who did nothing but glare at everyone standing in front of the house his mom lived in. Don't think I'd do it again cause it bugged out the game going that crazy. Fable always has lots of crazy stuff to do and try

Showing my age here, but the first game I remember doing this is Wing Commander 3. You (as the main character, played by Mark Hamill) could cozy up to one of your wingmen, or the mechanic (played by porn star Ginger Lynn Allen). It is mostly uneventful, up until you come up to the bar where both women are sitting. You can choose the mechanic (in which case the wingman will no longer fly with you), the wingman (in which case the mechanic will no longer suggest loadouts for your fighter, leaving you to choose your loadout manually), or friendzone them both (and both will leave you).
One that made me feel ugly, romancing Liara throughout mass effect 1 and 2, only to throw it away sleeping with Samantha in part 3, despite being a purely paragon Shepard. I thought the future would be polyamorous! 😭

What I love about sleeping dogs is that the karaoke actually messed up if you're bad at it, unlike yakuza...sure you get lower points but in sleeping dogs wei would sing horrendously out of tune and with mic feedback if you messed up
Honestly, _Sleeping Dogs_ is a super underrated game and is, in my personal opinion, better than any of the actual GTA games by Rockstar. If you haven't played it, and you like GTA-style games, you owe it to yourself to check it out. It's got an amazing story, great gameplay, and a really great personality.

It was less common in Fable 2, but I believe also possible. The REALLY messed up thing though for me was that I could go the entire game sexless until I marry. Do the honeymoon, and Boom! Guess who has an STD because I happen to want kids. They made a sword in 3 for god's sake that actually revolved around sex and I believe STD's were a part of unlocking upgrades. Been a while since I played it though, so I could be wrong. (The entire marriage/family thing was just badly done as a resource sink rather than making it any kind of beneficial point. could've added a strength based boon if you "keep your spouse pleased" often enough. A magic regen/power boon if you gave your kids gifts or played with them to teach them about what you - and they by extension some day very likely will become - are. Instead, you have a wife. Pay x gold. You have a kid, no two... pay more gold. You don't pay a value they want; she's gone. So are your kids. Way to go you! You own x house; upkeep to stabilize rent. You want better furniture, nope. Never have more than one copy of the five star stuff to sell you) For all it was one of the more reliable ways to make money in either 2 or 3, the landlord stuff was WAY too punitive. Especially for 3, where you are literally the prince of the largest section of the world. Gah. You're going to tell me even an exiled prince didn't have some monetary inheritance? No actual salary to start. First; why. If his parent was so forward thinking GOAT etc - which we played them, so we know is categorically NOT true. Second; how? I do love the games, but damn if I don't think that's one major area they need to change for this upcoming attempt. Retcon or not.
Bonus: Romancing Randvi in AC Valhalla. Not technically someone cheating on the main character, but Randvi is cheating on Sigurd with Eivor (who are best friends) which is kinda worse

Most Kings and Queens do not marry for love. It's to bring 2 nations or kingdoms together. Kings can sleep with who ever they wish and so can the Queen. Most of the Kings and Queen had separate sleeping chambers.
