I grew up just up the coast in Cocoa Beach back in the Space Race days in the 60's and70's...(My Dad was an engineer out at The Cape)...Mom and Dad always told us Vero was where all the rich people lived...I guess they weren't fooling.
sorry but Palm Beach is the undisputed king of wealth enclaves in Florida.Thats were the wealthiest snootiest old money folk live.Vero is a nouveau riche area, nice but not as nice as Palm
Yes I understand about Palm Beach,my point was just a childhood memory about my parents saying even in the 60's that vero is where the rich people lived...it was just across sebastian inlet from us....obviously cocoa beach in the 60's was pretty isolated.
all of them are very expensive and exclusive-gated nowadays..it doesnt matter which one is more isolated or far...after all when you have houses like these you also own a helicopter lol
Yeah that's true for sure...I live in Orlando now and am retiring in 2 years at age 59...my plan is to buy a condo on the beach...hopefully Cocoa Beach but I plan to do some scouting from Cocoa Beach to maybe Jensen beach area.
Cocoa beach is gorgeous, and condos are expensive when in prime locations...so i can only wish you good luck in you 'quest'
