Your video will come in handy when I decide to rework my 16 ga 11 48. Thanks!

I got a 20 gauge Remington Sportsman's - 58. Dam good guns. This one has a fixed skeet choke barrel.

Anyone know where I can buy a trigger assembly/Charging handle for a 16GA Rem 48?

Does it matter which direction you drive the two pins out to remove the trigger? Do you hit them on the ejection port side or the other side or will they pop out either way?

Hey that long flat piece that fell out when you removed the trigger Assembly what is that piece called???
If I’m not mistaken that piece is really a spring type thing that holds the shells in the tube right?
My gun Rem 48 shoots great as long as I load one shell at a time but if I load the mag tube it won’t cycle worth a shit. I think I need to replace that long flat spring thing but I don’t know what it’s called in order to ask for it or order it.
Vid was awesome and very helpful Dude! Thanks!

On reassembly, when you put in the curved odd piece that falls out when you remove the trigger assembly, when cleaning, and then reassembling the 11-48, the front "finger" of the curved odd piece is probably keeping you from loading more than one shell at a time. There is a slot for that front finger of the odd piece to go in to, and you can't see the tip of the odd piece when the finger" is in place correctly. Then line the hole of the odd piece with the trigger assembly front hole. Then, while holding the odd piece in place, insert the trigger assembly, trigger first (not the shell latch first). Notice in the video that the trigger assembly is cocked before he puts it back in. Otherwise a great video.

Mine had a spring and wooden dowel when you remove the forearm piece. What’s the difference between your 11-48 and mine?

Good video but you need to re do it with the camera pointing down at the gun. Some stuff I cant see that I need to know what your doing

I lay my gun on a roll of masking tape and knock the pins out. Easier to hold and the pins drop in the middle of the tape so they can roll away.

The spring on the tube mag is actually quite dangerous if you're not careful.

putting that shell latch back in is a bear. It takes three hands and your fingers need to be tiny.

Just learn a lesson from this one, point the camera at the workbench surface, and not at you. The sound is great, and video quality is very good, just camera placement was off. thanks though.

Your only “tricky” assembly part isn’t worth a darn explaining how, where and what to do. Makes your whole video all but useless! Thanks a lot, now I cannot put my gun back together!
