For some reason when I watch this scene, it makes me believe it only took them a few hours to paint, build and tune their car to perfection by themselves no less, even though I know it takes a team of guys weeks to properly do it.

I know a lot of people hate how the franchise moved away from street racing but I think the 4th movie was the blueprint on how the franchise should've went.
The 4th movie imo had the right blend of street racing and the over the top action that general audience seems to like
Made billions of dollars. Can't really argue why they did it. And that style of car is out of style these days. In 2001 the underglow kits and full body decals and touring wings were cool. Not anymore.
My favorite F&F movie. It still had a touch of the 1st movie but also some nice action. Plus it wasn't flooded with all the other side characters we have now. Only about Dom, Brian, Mia and Letty

Different engines use different fuel. Dom was running a 502 Big Block Chevy V8 while Brian had a RB26DeTT
@@mrpopo5854 the thing is Brian didn't use the RB26 from the r34 but rather hs swapped it out for the nismo engine from the impound
No difference, they might be different in terms of oil grade but they're both synthetic oils

@@chrisg24601 No, they were right, the hero car was a genuine GT-R. It was auctioned off a while ago with a spec sheet and everything, the seat was even allegedly still in the position set by Paul Walker. Apparently the car was seized after filming because it was imported as a kit car, which was a legal loophole. After that situation was resolved the car was shipped overseas, which is where it was auctioned.
That said, only one of the cars was a GT-R. The rest of the cars were GT-Ts.

Can someone explain to me, why Brian takes three GTRs? The blue one is the primary car he drives. I thought that he might wanted to use R35 engine, but we clearly can see that he installs native R34 inline 6. Maybe its from the white GTR, but the hood was in place. Perhaps the white car had suspension mods he decided to swap to the blue one, but the movie doesn't show it. And R35 is still a mystery.
