I love it when there are antagonistic counterparts to the main party in Tales. I don't think they're needed in every game but I love the God Generals and the Chimeriad.
The God Generals were such a great counter-balance to the main party and were written so well. They might be the best antagonistic group that the franchise has seen. The Chimeriad were great as well, but I didn’t feel as much of an attachment to them as I did the God Generals.
Damn this particular Tales of game hits hard like my god all of these poor God Generals dying by Anise, Natalia, Tear, Some Oracle Knight soldiers, and even Jade Curtis himself!!!
I thought he did? It’s been a long time since I’ve played abyss, but I could’ve sworn if you did the side quests for those demon weapons, the professor killed him or something.
never played this but it looks way easier than tales of symphonia. she got 25k hp and youre hitting her for 700 damage per hit, im fighting enemies with the same hp and im hitting for 150, overleveled with the best weapons.
It's definitely much harder, with more hard hitting spells and mechanics. It looks easy because this is most likely a second playthrough or more but the battle system is still fun none the less.
Both are quite easy. Symphonia's slightly harder due to no free run. My main problem is that in harder difficulties both games enemies (principally bosses) are big damage sponges. You can't deal more than 1 damage to the Liger Queen in unknown if you're bellow level 15, I think

Completely agree. They work really well in this game.
I love the god generals but Arietta. Damm I really hate this kid
yea except gor guy sych did not work shold had benn an repica marry
Always felt bad for Arietta. Should've handed over Anise as a sacrifice and let her join instead lol

I can't get over how Largo's body disappears like a regular enemy... 15:00
The thump when Lagretta jumps down is lol

It’s disappointing that Dist doesn’t die ,unlike the other God-Generals!
