Fredrik your an amazing artist, this is just beautiful. I just stumbled across your other skyrim track Merciful and Benevolent feat. Sharm, man was i blown away...to make such exquisite music through Sample libraries Unbeleivable. Have you ever thought about scoring films?
+Furqan Azhar That's just great to hear, thank you for listening and commenting! The Elder Scrolls lies close to my heart so it has been a pleasure writing for the project. I have definitely thought about scoring films, I hopefully will be scoring my first feature film as well as documentary early next year. And I agree, it's amazing what you can do with a computer today. Speaking from a musician's point of view, it's almost horrifying ;)
You were going for a trade theme and this song sounds pretty fitting of the capital city of the Dunmer. I know you all plan to make each city have their own theme but this would also go good for Balmora, the main city of the Hlaalu who specialize in trade. I don't think anyone would complain about this track being played in both cities since its pretty amazing.
Actually it's not entirely decided whether or not all the capitals will get dedicated music. From the start that was exclusive to Vivec, but were discussing it. Thanks for the kind words, I find the pizzicatos working quite well for the setting as long as you don't go overboard with it (which is easy especially in a TES context). Also regarding Wayfarer, that's the only track written not having Skywind in mind. I composed it a long time ago as a tribute to Skyrim, while being heavily influenced by Oblivion, so I'm really glad you find it fitting for Skywind!
It's a soundtrack for a Game. It should guide the player and his emotions in certain locations or situations. A normal gamer who isn't fuccused on music shouldn't even notice in most situation, that his emotions are led by the bg music. Only in such situations where a noticeable music supports the immersion, like being on top of a mountain and seeing beautiful landscape or a dramatic situation in the story of a quest or a boss fight etc.
All of your tracks are so on point and bring me right back to the feeling of Morrowind 18 years ago. I can't wait to see this come to full fruition.
Heartwarming stuff Jess, thank you.
Pure solid gold 🥇🪙🥇
light and beautiful... Just in love with this atmosphere, nice work ! :D
+Sabri Emini I'm very glad to hear that Sabri :)

+The Slanted Room I hope it will fit well in! I can sense some of that Vvardenfell atmosphere in there :)
Yet another bland and boring piece. Well... its not all bad, but most of it is forgetable.
Yet another bland and boring comment. Most what you said is forgetable.
You must be fun at parties, n'wah.
