Can you all do me a favor since you have your RMAX2 test rig in the shop? I want to make my RMAX compatible with 62" width-restricted trails (measured footprint, not at outer hub). The stock RMAX2 uses an 6.5" rim with 10" wide tires and a 34 mm offset which roughly translates to a 5+2 offset? What combination can I do to bring me to 62" from slightly increasing spring preload to going with an aftermarket bead lock with 6+1 offset 7" rim? Will 6+1 work? I have an RMAX4 but it should be able to go square with aftermarket or RMAX2 or Polaris-compatible rims. Thanks.
Arms would require complicated brackets or welding. Both drive costs up way to much. Also, since the suspension normally hangs on the shock there is no extra load on the shaft or end loops that wasnt already there. The real help is removing load off the shock internals that normally get pulled apart.
What about xrc limit straps? I don't recall you ever mentioning those shocks. Does the XRC fall into category of the ds or rs when using your parts? Thanks
On a walker it is a hidrolic bump stop, kind of. But once you add any weight to the wheel and tire it blows through that bump stop and becomes metal to metal. On a Fox there is both a coil spring called top out spring and a rubber bump stop. The springs are tuned to the weight of the suspension and wheel and tire so when that gets heavier it blows through that spring and bump stop getting a heavy clunk just like the walkers.
Not likely. The RS1 is a success for Polaris but it sells very little units compared to the rest of the UTV models. In the big picture for a manufacture, there are better UTVs to make and spend their efforts on.
I doubt you have one for a hyundai
I've got Koni's rear Porsche 914 with Ls1 FLiPeD 930Turbo Tranny,,drastic cv angle need Limiter straps,,,will they work on my Koni's

@@ShockTherapyllc Have you been yet. We will be there Labor Day. Love this system.
Have question why not attach straps to arms instead of shock seems to me the strap on shock puts lot of load on rod of shock.

When a shock hits under full extension, is it metal to metal inside or is there some kind of bushing inside to cushion the shock at full extension?

One more question do you guys think any other manufacturer will produce a single seat machine like the RS1?

Will your kit work on Smartshox?
