Fantastic video, great subject, visuals and sound. And the bonus is not having an 8’ high fence with razor wire obstructing the vid! Really leaves me regretting not following my childhood dream of becoming a pilot. Even now at age 50, it’s every bit as fascinating to me as it was at age 10.
It's true, CZNL is a great airport for spotting. If it had a bit more traffic it would be perfect! I know what you mean about not following your dream, I really regret not training to be a pilot when I was younger.
Nothing like taking off pointing at a mountain 10 ft in front of you , really nice looking climb out. would make a great movie shot comparable to the old westerns of the hero riding off into the sunset .
TheHDAviation yes sir, it is sharp, and you did a great job on the camera footage, especially with the proper angles, also your mic is extremely clear in this video, and i am just on an ipad
Absolutely awesome video. My all time favorite prop plane ever. So many reasons to own one over smaller planes like cessna 182 or 210s. If you have cash flow
Great video. She's one of the babies I look after. For the most part they are good machines, but from a maintenance perspective some things on them are just awfully thought out lol. But hey, they keep us busy which is a good thing
+turdpike Nice! This was one of the better looking King Air's I've seen pass through CZNL, always good to see one here that isn't an air ambulance. Hopefully GPDC will be back here again some day.
One thing to add, if you can afford this plane, it begs for the 350i upgrades. Soft leather interior in either the bronze color scheme of the livery, or in burgundy, the same color of the pinstripe on the rudder, i really rank this livery color scheme in the tops of the 350's
I wrote my comment right before the end of the video, of all your videos here, that is the most fog i have seen, in rural kentucky almost every morning looks like that in the hills and valleys, anyway i noticed he climbed out and above that fog as quickly as possible, lol, smart move if you nave the engine power, most of your videos show planes climbing slowly when they bank right into that valley.
Superb footage of this Super king Air. Regarding John's comment about the Windcutter....i have one, although it works quite well it's not always enough to cut noise out. I have put two small Velcro strips, one each side of the camcorders top mics, and found some very light packing material..almost like wool, i stick-on every time i need it. yesterday was an example in my last video...but it was quite strong wind !! Hope this was useful to you...best wishes...Steve.
Thanks so much Steve, I'll definitely try to whip something up and test it out the next time it is windy. I'll try the velcro and wool approach, that sounds like it should work nicely!
Want to get rid of the wind noise...? try a device from " Wind Cutter" I have used their stuff on a couple of cameras and the work great...! Keep up the great work....Thanks JD
Thanks! I'll definitely check out the Wind Cutter, that is something that has really been bothering me with a couple of my videos. It would be great to have a simple, cheap fix like that. Thanks for the info!
All the Beechcraft King Air line of aircraft are nice flying machines, one of the only problems with the design is if you look at a cross section of the fuselage they are not round, have you ever seen a square air tank?
+K Louden It does, but they do it more for maintenance/logistical reasons..its easier to swap out engines because its exactly the same. If you have two engine that is rotating different, all the engines and parts of that engine is opposite from each other if that makes any sense..which will be a lot more expensive
I'm not a pilot so forgive me...but what kind of hours and ratings would this pilot hold? I'm guessing ppl, instrument, commercial rating and probably atp? Does a pilot need a minimum number of hours to fly one of these?
+Daniel Hooper I just checked out the requirements for one of the companies that flies the King Air into CZNL a lot (Carson Air) and these are their minimum requirements to fly the King Air: First Officer Commercial licence with a multi IFR rating1000 hours total time500 hours multiMountaing flying experience an asset CaptainATPL 3000 hours total time, fixed wing aircraft1000 hours PIC1000 Multi - 500 multi PIC500 hours of mountain flying experience
+TheHDAviation Thank you kindly for that reply! Won't happen for me in this life, maybe next time around, lol! Until then, I'll just stay subscribed to your great aviation channel! Thanks.
Bloody hell I've never seen a king air operated multi crew. All single pilot ops here in Australia and PNG. If someone had 1000TT 500 multi they'd be better off sticking to a piston twin.
Russell Coight... probably because Australia is flat and sunny and PNG isn’t exactly replete with aviation oversight. Yes... a King Air 350 is a single pilot aircraft in Canada but those requirements listed are for B.C. Ambulance Service which are far more strict and similar to RFDS requirements in Australia. And flying some of the most insane mountain approaches into places like Castlegar or Revelstoke or Terrace... or into places like here in Nelson or Bella Coola where there are no approaches and massive obstacles and the dividing lines between IFR and VFR are very hazy... and you have to deal with high mountain winds, airborne and ground icing, and operations... all the way from the middle of nowhere where you’d better have heaters and glycol to keep the plane warm and get the contamination off the plane into the insanely busy terminal airspace of Vancouver where you get a runway swap and you’ve got floatplanes passing 500 feet underneath you while you’re IMC on the glide path shedding half an inch of ice and then for a 10 minute taxi between heavies with a MVA victim in the back... you don’t want to be 1000 hours and single pilot with a fresh type rating.
the video is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is so fake and I know because in My super realistic flight simulator FSX, the props are full speed in 1/100th of a second and long before the engine spools up (LOL) ! My God what a beautiful aircraft !!!!!!
I have been seeing this video for more than 5 years now, it never gets old.
I'm really glad to hear that, I always love seeing a King Air in action.
Fantastic video, great subject, visuals and sound. And the bonus is not having an 8’ high fence with razor wire obstructing the vid!

You're definitely not too young to become a pilot man.
Nothing like a King Air!
best bird ever. thank you for the glimpse.
Nothing beats the King Air!
Nelson looks like a tricky spot… great footage!
It definitely has some challenging terrain surrounding the airport. Always fun to see the King Air operating into CZNL.
Love the sound during startup ! Perfect vid mate, liked!!
Thanks so much!
The Beechcraft Super King Air B300-350i is a Beautiful Turboprop, thanks for upload.

I remember being a boy here. I thank the pilot for giving me that awesome opportunity to get to control an aircraft.
I love those 350 King Air.
This Channel is quickly becoming my most favourite Aviation Channel!
Thanks, I'm really glad you enjoy the videos!
Personally, i like the livery on this plane, i like that bronzez/brass color of the rudder, nice video
This one did look great indeed!
TheHDAviation yes sir, it is sharp, and you did a great job on the camera footage, especially with the proper angles, also your mic is extremely clear in this video, and i am just on an ipad
What a beautiful airplane
I agree!
I have flown a King Air 300 and I can say without reservation it is a fantastic airplane. If I had the money this is what I would purchase.
They definitely are pretty impressive planes, I'd love to have a flight in one some day. Thanks for watching.

...one of the finest civil aviation aircraft....ever...🧐😳👍😎
I agree, love the King!
Esta aeronave deveria ganhar o título de aeronave mais linda que foi produzida no planeta, sou o maior apaixonado por esse avião.
that was just beautiful!!
It doesn't compare, but I remember as a kid my pops flying us to Catalina Island, on & off the runway was short.....
Opposite spinning props, nice. Keeps the torque in check
Props spin same way.
no they don,t
watch the start up..same rotation!
yep your right and i am wrong
Great video man, awesome close up takeoff!Liked:)
Thanks a lot!
That runway is insane
If only RUclips had smell mode.

What a sweet footage mate! :) Really nice to see the engine start-up. Beautiful livery too. Liked! :)
Thanks Mylos!
The sound of the engine when it’s first starting up in the beginning sounds like a blowtorch almost.
instaBlaster.
Is this airport located in Canada?? I'd like to watch more videos in the same airport! Very nice!
Yes, this airport is in a town called Nelson in British Columbia, Canada. Thanks!
VERY NICE.
+suloja61 Thank you!
Son muy buenos los comentarios sobre el aparato Beechcraft 590 king vuelo uno de ese moddelo de avion y agradezco todo lo instructivo .👍

O:-)
Perfect !
Always great to see a King Air!
What happens if one of the engines stop mid air?
then ya work with the other one
That was Great.
Thanks for watching!

It's like wool , but not !! It just gives it that extra edge that you'll need especially where your Airport is situated.
Want to get rid of the wind noise...?
try a device from " Wind Cutter" I have used their stuff on a couple of cameras and the work great...!
Keep up the great work....Thanks

your welcome...
John Dubpernell i may need one my self :) !!!!!
If you fly it yourself what is operating cost per flight hour?
Both props spin counterclockwise rather than one clockwise?
It would have been good to have no critical engine for real, im surprised.
Fantastic job :)
Thanks!
TheHDAviation
All the Beechcraft King Air line of aircraft are nice flying machines, one of the only problems with the design is if you look at a cross section of the fuselage they are not round, have you ever seen a square air tank?
Square is more space efficient.
The advantage of a twin over a single engined aircraft is that, if you have an engine failure, you can crash further away.
why don't they start both engines at the same time?
Tim Brink so many things you have to check per engine ...one engine at a time reduces the workload
In addition to what Percy said, also the batteries can’t handle that much amperage draw from starting both engines at the same time.
Torque strain
Tim Brink , interesting question! I always wondered.
What airport was this filmed at?
This was at CZNL in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada.
Long live the KING!!!
Good video
Thanks
Love it
The King is always fun to see, one of my favourites. Thanks for watching!
i guess they have a quite good range.
1,200 NM +/-
What airport is this?
CZNL in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada.
sorry for stoopid qwestion: why do the propellers spin in the same direction?!?...does not that produce torque?!?
+K Louden It does, but they do it more for maintenance/logistical reasons..its easier to swap out engines because its exactly the same. If you have two engine that is rotating different, all the engines and parts of that engine is opposite from each other if that makes any sense..which will be a lot more expensive

Love the king airs my local airfield(EGNL) operates two b200s can recognize the Garrett turbines anywhere
They're definitely an impressive aircraft. Thanks for watching!
Nemo Blackheart Those are P&W's, not Garrett's
B100s have the Garretts.
Baby 😱😤🤐🔥🔥✅
Gorgeous
Thanks for watching!
Qual a velocidade de vôo, e autonomia.
Featerable prop's also.
How much would one of these planes cost
Around $6-7 million new.
if you have to ask, you cant afford it
Super máquina!!
