At 12:00 o’clock and at 6:00 o’clock are two square lids with 4 bolts in each. That’s the access points to the two king-pin bearings.
The lower one is prone to collect water. You should replace all 4 of them, two on each side. It’s not expensive at all, just a lot of work.
Look up the bearing part number and you’ll find SKF’s and several other manufacturers of them.
Best grease, bar none, is the SKF Bearing Grease LGMT 2/5.
After all the work you have done on the Samurai and you want to sell it, blows my mind.
I definitely don't want to sell it, unfortunately I can't keep it for financial reasons. Makes me sad because I know every square inch of it. It's gonna be like losing a child, but I'm hoping to do another one in the future, now that I know the in's and out's it'll be easier the next time. At least I'll have all these videos for memories. I'm making a video now comparing how it was when I got it to now, gonna go through the receipts and see roughly what it cost, figure out what I would do again and what I would change etc.
@@FixLife119 I understand. I have been putting a lot of money in my. Money is tight. I really enjoy your videos. That blower on the ac unit had me laughing. I did post where you could get the part, but it was taken down. No worries.
@@larry6315 Lol, I couldn't believe that thing grenaded like that. I tried and tried to break the rest of that zip tie and it was so strong! It doesn't make sense lol. Yeah I was gonna order the part but I think it has more issues than just the fan. It's so good to hear you like the videos, that makes it all worthwhile! Thank you!
Gotta luv working on junk. I haven't been working on nuttun.
Yes sir, always nice to have a project or 12. Oh come on, I know you got some metal melting in a kiln or a CNC machine buzzin in the background as we speak lol.
