I never heard of Leon Bridges until this song I think he is awesome, I wish he sang more country!
His music is more soul but he really has some serious talent. It's worth giving it a listen for sure.
He does have a pretty cool voice, I do think he could do more instead of sounding and looking like a teddy bear.

Leon Bridges have a melodious voice which for sure doesn’t suit this song. My wife is a huge fan of Leon but Luke Comb’s songs definitely not right for him. Luke is like a tank crushing everything on his path 🙂.

Yeah. Contrasting styles with Luke better on pitch. But, on this instance, I presume Leon bridges doesn’t want to upstage Luke. Thus his reserved approach at singing. He’s not even wearing a guitar. That tells me he wants Luke to be main attraction on the stage.

Leon Bridges is amazing but he was lost in this performance.
I can tell when Luke was trying to finish the song off, Leon was trying to cut in and then stopped himself. In my opinion, this song is not right for him because Luke didn't even get the chance to hit the high note after the chorus. Honestly, Leon made Luke's song look bad. I respect him for at least trying his best, but seriously, come on. Luke is HOSS.

this is crossroads, that's exactly the point. Maybe Crossroads ain't your cup of tea & that's fine but as a musician, I assure there's few things more difficult to do than to perform live in a genre that you are unfamiliar with & that's exactly why many of us enjoy seeing artists stepping out on a limb taking chances outside of their comfort zone, some knock it out of the park & some struggle to get through a song but that does not mean they suck or are without talent.

Leon has a style completely different from Luke. His voice is amazing in his genre, but he stepped out side and sang this one with Luke. Kudos to him for that. This song didn’t suit him, but he did it.
Give him a listen on his own music. He’s amazing
