So to answer your question “Despite varying opinions on water consumption in babies and toddlers, most medical institutions agree that water may be introduced in small amounts after 6 months of age. When infants less than 6 months of age consume water, it puts them at risk of life-threatening electrolyte imbalance and inadequate intake of calories, protein, and essential nutrients.” So like definitely don’t give them water lol
i learned this a few months ago and lost my mind!!! they rly need to make that public knowledge bcs i feel like i would've given an infant water without knowing im about to go to prison for life
@@fatumamamamamamait is public information, with modern healthcare they tell you all you need to know when you are expecting a child/after they are here

As a new mother who wondered the same thing about babies and water, I am here to tell you that babies do not need water, in fact, their kidneys can’t even process large amounts of water until a certain age, so they get all their water through breast milk and formula lol.
something tells me those two don't know how pregnancy or birth even works like, they are treating having a child like some outsourced diy project... it's fucking appaling how lightly they seem to take this whole thing. it's sooo icky
Yeah they're doing the same thing that Dave Rubin did. He also got 2 surrogates at the same time so they could each have a baby with their sperm or something just treating it like ordering a couch from Amazon.
As someone who was handed off to a nanny the moment I was born, I already feel bad for these kids. They will not give a single shit about their designer shoes (or their designer birth...odd thing that is), but they will give a shit about how mentally unprepared and unavailable their parents are.
@@TaliVarda100706maybe physically (as in the basics of being alive) but every child wants their parents attention and love! I’m worried for these 2 not even born babies LOL
Dude, I know this isn't why you posted this but I am really sorry this was the case for you. I have memories of being handed off to a lot of people I didn't know as a small child, but that was because my mum was a single parent who worked a low income job. It sucked but at least there was a survival justification. Whatever slim thread of an excuse we can find for being put in this untethered place, we cling to, hey? It just must be crap sometimes, thinking that if your parents could afford a nanny, they could also afford to spend time with you. Can't imagine how you interact with them now... I'd be giving speeches with lighting and sound cues, and preplanned dramatic flourishes on a WEEKLY basis, just to fuck up breakfast. But I am extra like that. Props for adding to the conversation, hope you're doing good.
@@angelalovell5669 Sorry to hear about your circumstances, I hope things are better now. I actually do not talk to my mother at all anymore. I simply never bonded with her in any meaningful way, and in rare instances I was left in her care, she often forgot to feed me or accidentally left me in places like malls or the car. She really only ever liked buying me things I didn't ask for or need, or occasionally bringing me around for photos or at social events. I actually didn't know until I was five or six years old that people's mothers were supposed to raise them. I'm pregnant now and have vowed to be the primary caretaker of my children. I think it will be healing for me to have a proper bond with them that I did not have growing up
i can say confidently, as a mom myself, that they have no idea what they’re getting into. they are 100% doing this for clout and it’s not going to work out how they think it will.
this is the comment i was looking for!! they obviously are salivating to start a family channel. i honestly cannot stand them both. ryland gets under my skin by just trying too hard and shane is… well you know lmao
@@lexiiam also the fact that shane is mentally stuck at 15. he can barely handle himself, let alone babies. i know all new parents live and learn when it comes to how they think having kids will go but i never give shane a free pass. someone who makes sex jokes about cats and calls little girls sexy should be on some kind of list, not having kids. this is so irresponsible for everyone involved. sorry, i just honestly really hate shane and everything he stands for lol
Fr! I'm only 19, i help take care of my close neighbors baby all the time, and he's inspired me to get a job in childcare. Im working to get my GED to get at least an associates in Child Development. It's hard as fuck WORK!!! you can only do a good job of it if you're actually passionate abt it and care about the kid. Which is obvious from these two they see a kid as a designer handbag that talks. They have no fucking idea what they're in for
Apparently (I only know this because of the colleen ballinger drama) videos about children or featuring children don't have ads? I don't know the actual details but this is what I've heard! I could be 100% wrong but pretty sure they can't monitize those videos
I really hope this does wake people up! Child exploitation is just getting worse and worse with the lack of internet regulations. Maybe it'll wake people up to the horrible reality of children in the entertainment biz in general.
As someone who works in an infant room in a daycare, they are not ready. I feel like either Ryland will be the sole caretaker or Shane will hire a nanny. They are so not ready and I am so worried for any babies they may have
My mom is a childcare provider, has been for more than 15 years now, and has helped raised so many kids. Once she told me "If you're not ready to accept that having a baby means your life is gonna suck for 2 years, don't have a baby". I remember thinking it was a joke, but considering how exhausting, mentally and physically, having a newborn is, she might be right on the money.
They couldn't even keep their kitten safe from their untrained dogs. Locally, a baby was savaged by a chihuahua because their father was ignorant enough to leave the dog alone with the baby. I'm genuinely scared for these children. Just so you know, baby survived and is a charming little person. The dog was obviously not so lucky. Garbage parenting and dog ownership, both.
Oh 100%. I work with slightly bigger kids (4-10) and you can TELL which ones aren't getting enough attention at home vs which ones have their needs fulfilled so fast. I hope Ryland realizes how terrible Shane is and leaves with the kid(s), not because I believe Ryan is a stellar person or a great parent-to-be, but because at least he'd be better than Shane.
Babies are like spiders, where you don't have to give them water directly, you can just mist their enclosure every once in a while and they can drink the lil water droplets, I think.
I’m not SAYING the reason these fellas didn’t know the origins of identical twins IS just because the eggs are carried by people with uteruses and that these fellas fit the tragic common typecast of queer men who think female bodies and the entire associated reproductive system is “icky” and “too confusing,” is HORRIFYINGLY TABOO and unimportant, to boot - and “literally does not matter until we hire one of these bodies to meet our own selfish desires” but I AM saying that yeah dude all that shit is A POSSIBLE explanation for what in tarnation we are seeing and hearing here. I’d love to hear them explain a menstrual period to the twin daughter they’d hoped to be having. I’d love to hear them explain the consideration they gave to making the announcement, so early - how they considered the varying levels of risk to miscarry, at different checkpoints in gestation. These fathers, so caring and devoted, SO involved, already, so curious and eager to grow 🙄
girl... love this comment. didnt even think about it but its such a good possibility and likely explanation for their behaviour. theyre treating this like a fun little experiment, as if it doesnt come with risks and a huge amount of responsibility.
Truly, it seems like they don't care about the risk to the woman at all here. They didn't even mention any risk to her when they mentioned the possibility of QUADRUPLETS. They're just fluttering around talking about how they didn't know how twins happen. And... two fathers for one woman to carry??? Aren't even normal pregnancies hard on a woman's immune system???
No I totally agree I've been around people who also are constantly doing the most to look adorable and quirky at all times. It's so obvious and SO frustrating to be around. Shane. You are 34. I know you're incapable of acting like anything other than a giant manbaby but you are in fact an adult. The time to stop was 15 years ago but you can also stop right now
Right?? And buying all the stuff too. I didn't dare buy anything until I was out of the first trimester. idk they just seem very clueless and naive about all of this.
Right? like miscarriage is sadly really common... I don't think they've even thought about that possibility. Hell, they probably don't know just how common it is given that Ryland didn't even know how identical twins happen... Putting all this out there is gonna cause their surrogate so much stress. I just hope no one finds out who she is for her and her child's sake
I’m concerned because they’re acting like this is a sure fire thing. IVF can take more than one try, and you don’t control what attaches. Not to mention what are they going to do if they end up having all four attach, only three attach, or only one attach? and God for bid one of them doesn’t make it to term, they’ve already made a name and gotten attached. I feel like a parenting course should be required for everyone.
It's just weird that Ryland and Shane really didn't consider how identical twins occurred at all when they were wanting twins. You'd have thought that they'd have researched SOMETHING. Also, them already buying so many clothes is hilarious considering babies grow out of things super quickly. I mean, I know my own mother got baby clothes for me (like cute dresses) from yard sales. They always looked as if they'd never been worn or were worn once at most. I could also see the babies growing out of those Burberry shoes before they even got a chance to wear them.
@@pietrofattorello That or they just skipped health class and never read anything. Hearing them say that they didn't know how identical twins were created had me going, "wait, I thought that was something that everyone knew?"
Exactly! My niece is 4 and from birth to now my family is constantly buying new or getting hand me downs from family friends for her because she’s growing so quickly. Shoes especially. Cheaper shoes are a must bc you’ll be replacing them OFTEN.
One of the lingering concerns I've got regarding all this is what if their kid(s) is/ are neurodivergent? What if they have physical disabilities? Will these be handled properly, ensuring Shane and Ryland's wealth is used to properly support these kids, or are these going to be further exploited for sympathy clicks? I don't even want to think about it, honestly.
As someone neurodivergent, I highly doubt it honestly. Especially if they have something that has sensory issues as a symptom. I doubt they would let the kids choose not to be filmed and the loud voices + loud lights + overexaggerated movements are really unpleasant.
@@hopedespair8568 That's true! I didn't even consider sensory issues, but they'd definitely ignore any in favor of putting their kids on camera while being loud and obnoxious the whole way through. These kids haven't been born yet and they already deserve better...
dude if their kid has autism or ADHD they're gonna be so fucked because I know Shane's "omg can I get cancelled for that?" thing is going to rub off on them so fast if they're bad at social communication. and Shane seems to make everything about him so if that kid has a disability that'll make them need more care Shane is definitely going to try to compensate for that even harder than he already will.
I know you weren’t actually asking, but breastmilk is nearly 90% water and formula is up there too. Straight water under 6 months can kill a baby as their kidneys aren’t developed enough to handle it.
It is interesting, as someone that's striving for a job in childcare I'm learning that stuff all the time since I've been helping my neighbor with an 8 month old. I just recently learned today a babies head can physically flatten if they're neglected and laid on their back or side too much
@aKedi true but I think it only flattens if they're laid there for a rlly long time, meaning probable neglect. Normally a baby is picked up and held enough for that not to happen
@@ghoulishtoad it’s actually really common and it’s possible neglect not probable, if ur baby is laying down a lot during the day and you constantly ensure they are on their back like you should they could have a flat head! Careful spreading stuff like that because it’s definitely not a sure sign of neglect
I just don’t think they understand that they have to raise these kids for LIFE. not 6 months, not a year, not till they get tired of them and want to ‘rehome’ them like a pet. I don’t think they get just how long 18+ years really is.
@@cheeseypuffzforyou2302 I mean I put 18+. I think it depends. Personally I left my moms house and went 1500 miles away when I was 18 years and 1 month and never looked back, I’m in my 30s now. So 🤷♀️ I definitely get that it’s different for everyone though.
shane just shows his privilege and entitlement… how do you not research about this shit before doing it? i knew the difference between twins at like 15.
The fact they tried to basically get designer twins in a country where the foster and adoption system is stretched thin with kids who need homes and safety :|
@@krissi_b it's hilarious to me when people argue that. Like ffs it's right in the name, identical twins need to be IDENTICAL right down to the literal fkn DNA. It's ridiculous when someone insists twins MUST be identical, generally on the basis that they're both girls/both boys and look similar (siblings?! looking similar!?!? Well, I never!)
@JACK lol 100% with you on that. My twin and I are mirror-image (genetically identical), and that irks me a bit too Although it *does* make for an interesting way to come out as trans to people. I just say something about my identical twin sister and the rest of the conversation pretty much writes itself lol Although I do regret missing the window for identical twin shenanigans. The closest we ever got to parent trapping was when she got assigned a detention bc *I* was caught in the halls out of class. 🤷♂️
@Elijah Cumpton My twin sister and I are also mirrored identical twins. The amount of times we were confused for each other growing up was baffling to me, especially since we each have one dimple, mine is on my left cheek while my twin has hers on her right cheek. We only managed to pull off switching places in school once. At our middle school, during lunch break, students could do club activities for the last 30 minutes of the 1 hour lunch period. I was in a crochet club while my twin was in a book reading club, and we switched one day to see what it was like. We almost pulled it off, but the reading club teacher noticed my dimple was on the opposite side, so she got a closer look at me and noticed I was not my sister. She laughed about it and told me not to do it again before telling me I have to leave the club room. I felt embarrassed for having failed the plan, but it was really hilarious seeing the look of confusion on my crochet club teacher's face when I walked into the club and pulled my twin sister out into the hall to tell her what happened. On another note, it was really cool doing a DNA test with my twin and seeing the 100% genetic match with each other on the paperwork. Also, I was equally annoyed and outraged at Shane and Ryland's complete ignorance of twins.
Does anyone remember when this mommy vlogger had her adoption of a child cancelled when the adoption agency said she couldn’t post the baby online? They should do that to Shane too… that poor child

They’re making an awful lot of assumptions that things are going to go perfectly and according to their carefully curated plans for these designer babies. There are so many things that can still go wrong or not according to their wishes. Honestly. they’re so entitled and picky, I hope something bursts their bubbles (like 4 girls… I don’t wish harm or hurt on anyone) just to deflate them a little.
Ha, I know what you mean - the idea of Shane and Ryland having AFAB quads (well, double twins... would they still be called quads?) and both their mothers looking at each other and just saying "RIGHT, shut the absolute fuck up, open your ears and start taking notes." They're immediately not having it, the idea that their sons are going to half-ass the childhoods of their four granddaughters, so they both move in for the first 6 weeks, relentlessly drilling both Shane and Ryland on nappy changing, laundry rotation, bottle feeding, disinfecting and cleaning, how to hold babies, how to hold MULTIPLE babies, how to finally sever the last vestiges of their romantic entanglement because lying to themselves and the world is FAR LESS IMPORTANT than their four newborn children and their inevitable bout with colic. They both end up exhausted robot dads who have no energy for anything but babies... but then all the pets, including the alpacas, will get neglected. And their mothers will eventually get sick of them and leave them to it. And the content... oh, the content... Honestly any incarnation of this sounds like a nightmare.
SAME like omfg you're a fkn millionaire, if you wanna wear the same generic clothes everyday you can at least buy new ones ffs. You can still wear the clothes you find comfy without looking super sloppy....
I saw someone else comment this on another video about this mess, but they said “Shane wants a baby, not a child”, and that really stuck with me. He wants a cute little plaything that he can use to resurrect his already corpse-like public image, but once those poor children start to grow and change and they don’t have the cuteness factor that comes with newborns, he’s going to lose interest entirely.
exactly this! they want a cute little baby that they can parade around on camera but then the second those cameras are cut, they are gonna have so much resentment for those children. Especially when those babies are fussy or god forbid have any health/mental issues! they would exploit those for sympathy points but not actually care.

I watched Shane’s food videos on through all this conspiracy theories and “documentaries” up until the true and history came to light. Oof. I’m embarrassed to say I bought and read his books 😳
Every update on the baby stuff leaves me screaming internally. I've gotten pregnant four times and only managed to bring one child to term. There's so so so many things that can go wrong. Keeping a positive mindset is good but the way they're just assuming this will all go fine with no problems is giving me major anxiety
@@insomniacraccoon thank you. I am in a good place. My kid is the light of my life and I'm glad I stuck it out until I had them. The last miscarriage was after them and that's when I said I was done. It's an incredibly painful experience and I wouldn't wish it on anybody, not even these jagoffs
Shane often films stuff months, even years, in advance of a video's release, but the one time it would make the most sense to do that -- not posting about the ivf journey in too much depth until there is an actual alive baby in their arms -- they say "screw it" and post basically live. i don't get it.
@@honoratagold it is such a missed opportunity too. Can you imagine if they just dropped a "oh btw we have babies now" vlog? It would have been the biggest thing in years
Common misconception, but you can't actually implant an embryo. You transfer them and hope for the best. Also, it's not as common to transfer two embryos because a multiples pregnancy can be dangerous for both mom and babies (and that's assuming both implant on their own!). Usually you'd only transfer two if you've had repeat transfers that failed to implant. Their doctor seems irresponsible to transfer two just so you'd have one from each parent!
Yep they clearly give zero fucks about this surrogate having a risky pregnancy that could lead to long term health complications as long as they can get their two matching dress- up doll babies. This whole situation disgusts me and I feel so sorry for the unborn kids.
Isn't it a lot more dangerous for surrogate mothers to carry babies of TWO different fathers!!!??? Surrogate pregnancies are already more dangerous than regular ones. This is honestly really gross, the way they all just act like any risk to that woman is fine because they're paying her. Even the quadruplets, do they give a shit how dangerous that is for her? It seems like they didn't give it a second (or first) thought and can only giggle at how much extra baby clothes they'd have to buy.
No but really… how did rylan THINK identical twins happened?? This is driving me insane like even Zach and Cody had a joke about embryos splitting wtf💀💀
At least where I’m from, Max is a perfectly acceptable name for a human. Jetson on the other hand sounds just stupid to me. I laughed out loud when Nick read the Urban Dictionary definition😂
I had a cat named Max but I have a (human) friend named Jet... It'd probably be more insulting to him that Shane Dawson wants to name his kid Jet than it would be for someone to say its a dogs name
Honestly i think trisha will, shes struggled with infirtility and that video of her finding out is cute ashhh!! I think shes def gonna put her all into giving that child a great life.
@Felix..Julian except that she's been exploiting that kid since she came into this world. And with a name like Malibu Barbie she's set her kid up for failure just like these two are
The fact that they haven't figured out their bill is going to double is incredibly concerning. Recklessly spending money with 2 kids on the way.... and neither have a REALLY *stable* job. Like.... yikes. These kids are gonna be taken away so fast...
The clothes they are buying are also far too big for a newborn. They’re shopping and idolising the “newborn but not quite a newborn” baby stage and it’s sad.
@@MurronWright That’s how it really should be done. Babies grow exponentially fast and will outgrow newborn clothes in just a couple months. New parents usually still have newborn clothes they never use.
The fucked up thing is that they probably WON'T be taken away. They should be, but they won't. Because this is America, and our country is fundamentally broken in so many ways.
Speaking from the perspective of someone who was adopted at birth, I can't help being kinda annoyed at the lengths couples will go to not adopt children lmao the amount of money I've seen people spend for their pedigree babies is off the wall.
depends on the circumstances. Adoption isn't simpel, there are a lot of requirements. And most kids in the adoption system aren't newborns. They way they're handeling this is very of putting. But that's not every couple using ivf/surrogacy.
There’s nothing wrong with not wanting a kid from the foster system. Babies from private adoptions are quite rare and super expensive. Children in the foster system usually have a lot of emotional baggage that parents may not be equipped to handle, or even want to handle.
Speaking as someone adopted privately in infancy by people totally unequipped to be parents; any child can develop mental health issues. Becoming a parent means accepting your kid might have health difficulties or be disabled. Private adoption as a means of attaining a more perfect baby is Not The Move. And no, private adoption is not rare, it’s basically an entire industry.
@@desykee3088 Sure. But there is a lot of things wrong with wanting biological children for content purposes. Let's be real, that's exactly why they want twins. For content. It's fucking gross.
I've never heard of private adoption before--that certainly wasn't my situation. I was put up for adoption the traditional way as soon as my birth mother became pregnant because she had no money, too many kids, and was trying to get out of an abusive marriage. Idk if you're trying to imply that all pre-birth adoptions are to "attain a more perfect baby" or if you're just talking about yourself, but if it's the former, you're mistaken. The narrative about adoption is actually usually the opposite: it's frequently implied that we are "damaged goods" and "poor replacements" for "actual biological children".
Definitely not mean. The pair of them have repeatedly shown how problematic and irresponsible they are, they absolutely should not be trusted to raise a baby (let alone multiple).
That poor child roughly 20 years from now, to his therapist: "And then I had to spend $150 damn dollars to get my stupid-ass name legally changed to "Barry" like a sane human being who actually exists, my dad is 54 years old and he keeps staggering around my apartment with an iphone 12 and one of those ancient selfie sticks, trying to convince me to "vlog" with him. I don't even know what that MEANS, Doctor Andrews!"
Not sure how far in advance they film, but there's no guarantee a surrogate will actually get pregnant after the implantation process. I guess if she's not, then they get to do a sad, not pregnant this time vlog, though. 🙄
i was adopted as an infant by a mom who just wanted a baby and not a *human* (and other icky stuff from adopting from the quickest possible country). she wasn’t prepared at all for me to have neurological disabilities and a shitload of other stuff. not to like project my trauma onto strangers on the internet but i have a bit of a feeling that whatever potential child(ren) they have are gonna become just accessories to them.
I’m 100% here for the random crustacean science facts. Not only can mantis shrimp see way more colours than other critters, the pistol variety also might have the fastest movement in the animal kingdom. And the peacock mantis shrimp is almost as fabulous looking as the flamboyant cuttlefish (the creature with the best swagger to size ratio on the planet)
I vaguely remember Ryland wanting horses and Morgan getting upset and trying to talk him out of it. I wish everyone they know would've talked them out of reproducing. Of course the people who can barely keep pets alive are trying for twins 🤦♀️
Oh God they're really doing it. I think I was hoping it was just for attention and they wouldn't actually bring life in to this world to be exploited but here we are. Ugh
The excitement I feel when I see there’s a Shane clip breakdown, couldn’t be further from the feeling I get when I see the original content recommended to me by YT. Nick - you’re messin’ with my mind! 😱🧡
This is so off topic but I freaking love the reflection of your plushy in your play button. That is such a fun and satisfying little touch to your videos. 😊
Speaking of babies, I saw one sitting in a cart at Walmart yesterday holding onto and eating an entire uncooked cob of corn and I just had to tell someone about it.
This whole saga has been making me intensely uncomfortable. There’s something I really don’t like about them buying all these personalised things for babies that do not even exist yet. Like, this isn’t just “trying not to get too excited in the first few months of pregnancy”, this was all before the embryos are even in the surrogate.
i get the feeling shane is gonna have some heavy heavy favouritism w the baby that has his genes. like i can just imagine shane yelling at the ryland kid abt how hes not his real son or something if he misbehaves
All I can keep thinking is how they're super jumping the gun on *so much stuff*. Pregnancies have so many things that could go wrong and end poorly, there's a reason most people don't start shrieking at people they're going to have a baby *before the embryo's even implanted*.
Thank you for covering this because I never would have watched these updates on my own. I will never understand putting your *potential* future kids FULL LEGAL NAMES online, let alone before they're even born. Almost 2 month along fetuses already being milked for content is so frustrating & sad.
I'd be careful about using and taking sponsorships from G2A, usually the way they get the keys on that site is via sellers extorting indie devs with games that aren't selling too well by buying game keys from them in bulk (usually for a very low price), posing as reviewers wanting free review copies just to sell the keys later, using stolen credit cards to buy cards and software keys, and other ways that aren't as bad but still kinda slimey. I'm not here to dog on Nick or anything- they seem newer to games so they wouldn't know as much about things like this, but yeah please be wary.
I miss my twin sister, I unfortunately lost her when we were 14 the day before our 15th birthday. I always felt like it was my fault until my boyfriend told me that it wasn’t my fault. Anyways… I don’t want Shane and Ryland to have any children. Isn’t that putting them at risk of being exploited, just like every other family blogger?
@@sapphicwitchx Thank you, I’ve been struggling since I turned 19 this past January and I had no one to celebrate it with, but I know she’s watching over me.

Everything about this seems...off. Like, even choosing twins seems weird to me. Like they want something clicky and aesthetic without putting thought into the fact that twins need specific parenting guidance to make sure you are treating them as INDIVIDUALS. Most people think "oooh twins, matching outfits and a built in best friend". They may not want go wear the same thing, they may not be similar in personality and people treat them like part of a pair before they are even born.
"You need a licence to buy a gun or own a dog, hell you need a licence to catch a fish. But they'll let any butt-reaming asshole be a father." Keanu has never been so correct as when his quotes are applied to Shane Dawson.
“See right through people acting in a way that they think is being perceived as adorable” YES THIS. especially when it actually seems to work for them and you’re just like, how do people not see this is fake
This is terrifying for a few reasons but my main worry with this is that babies require a ton of attention and care around the clock. Shane probably thinks the babies will be a quick fix to his channel views but… Filming would be out of the question (and should be.)
As far as I can guess, Ryland is going to put in the majority of the effort for the kid, and Shane is going to cruise by being the "fun dad" that the kids will later realize upon growing up was actually just emotionally distant and immature, and tried to make up for his lack of any real connection by trying to be their friend instead of their dad. Or, and I HOPE this is the case, something else will happen, like the company realizes who Shane is and cancels, the surrogate backs out and they can't find a new one, a sudden bankruptcy prevents them from being able to pay to have the process continued... anything to stop this from happening.
The fact that shane and ryland tried to time the birth of their child to determine their horoscope sign coveys the degree of privilege that they both have and lack to understand. To so publicly show the design or conception of their baby speaks to the amount of privilege and access they have that they might not use to care for their future children. For the most part I believe no one is actually ready to have children, specifically emotionally prepared, but for these two they seem well endowed to materially support these kids but not emotionally. They could have fostered children at a couple of different ages throughout the years to see if they were ready or fit to be parents but chose not to goes to show how this is a reflection of their relationship and how they desire more of themselves and their image than the absolute privilege and gift it is to have kids. I am not religious by any means, but I pray for these kids
5 seconds in but I learned during the formula shortage when some parents were watering down their formula to extend it that giving babies water (even in the form of diluted formula) is dangerous because it dilutes nutrients and calories needed. So babies - up until they start eating solid foods at about 6 months - survive purely off of breastmilk/formula. Did you actually want to know this? Who knows. But I'm an excited mom-to-be so I'll take any chance to talk babies. ❤❤❤
1:13 - 1:23 I'm so glad that you mentioned that you can't give babies water. I babysat for *YEARS* before learning - from social media and not the parents/guardians themselves - that it's harmful until a certain age. Yikes! 😬
My heart is breaking for those future babies; they are NOT going to have easy lives with those two as parents (or maybe Shane & Ryland will step up & grow up when the babies are actually born).
The thought of Shane as a father is incredibly depressing. Two innocent children being subjected to his parenting and exploited from birth is horrifying. They need to pass laws to protect children from social media exploitation ASAP. Edit: this is also an excellent argument for making surrogacy illegal

When infants less than 6 months of age consume water, it puts them at risk of life-threatening electrolyte imbalance and inadequate intake of calories, protein, and essential nutrients.” So like definitely don’t give them water lol

@@saoirsekerrigan3268I feel this is going to end badly. They're trying to manifest the perfect set of twins & getting way ahead of themselves.

It’s so sad to think about. Already taking consent away from their potential future children. Starting out strong.

They both end up exhausted robot dads who have no energy for anything but babies... but then all the pets, including the alpacas, will get neglected. what's really sad is i doubt it would be anything more than a "shipping delay" to shane. that man should not be a parent.
The narrative about adoption is actually usually the opposite: it's frequently implied that we are "damaged goods" and "poor replacements" for "actual biological children".
this might be mean, but I genuinely hope they don't get a baby; nobody deserves to be in their vicinity.
No honestly your being nice, no kid deserves a father like Shane
Definitely not mean. The pair of them have repeatedly shown how problematic and irresponsible they are, they absolutely should not be trusted to raise a baby (let alone multiple).
Girl, you are not mean, you speak truth.
And genuinely fuck this surrogate helping them bring a child into the world solely to exploit.
I was thinking the same thing
Who is letting these people inseminate them 🥴. This will not end well, I feel for those kids already smh
Someone who needs money for something
@@djadelaneyGood for them, hope they live to get that bag
That poor child roughly 20 years from now, to his therapist: "And then I had to spend $150 damn dollars to get my stupid-ass name legally changed to "Barry" like a sane human being who actually exists, my dad is 54 years old and he keeps staggering around my apartment with an iphone 12 and one of those ancient selfie sticks, trying to convince me to "vlog" with him. I don't even know what that MEANS, Doctor Andrews!"
Whenever I feel bad about being single, I look at Ryland and Shane and go "... I'm good."
Right?
Not sure how far in advance they film, but there's no guarantee a surrogate will actually get pregnant after the implantation process. I guess if she's not, then they get to do a sad, not pregnant this time vlog, though. 🙄
Content either way
YES! I am always accused of being mean or judgmental but that whole "UWU, sowwy I sooo cute" stuff makes me positively murderous.
i was adopted as an infant by a mom who just wanted a baby and not a *human*
(and other icky stuff from adopting from the quickest possible country). she wasn’t prepared at all for me to have neurological disabilities and a shitload of other stuff.
not to like project my trauma onto strangers on the internet but i have a bit of a feeling that whatever potential child(ren) they have are gonna become just accessories to them.
Nick, the Pennywise clip… I am on the floor 😂😂😂
Yall, we CAN NOT let them become family vloggers. Please. We can't.
What the heck was he going to do with a bunch of horses? Gambling?
the winnie the pooh impression had me wheezing so hard my cat thought she'd have the house to herself for the rest of eternity
Oh God they're really doing it. I think I was hoping it was just for attention and they wouldn't actually bring life in to this world to be exploited but here we are. Ugh
WE GOT ANOTHER ONE!!! Ive been rewatching your breakdown playlist on Shane Dawson because you criticizing that man is my favorite pass time
The excitement I feel when I see there’s a Shane clip breakdown, couldn’t be further from the feeling I get when I see the original content recommended to me by YT.
Nick - you’re messin’ with my mind! 😱🧡
This is so off topic but I freaking love the reflection of your plushy in your play button. That is such a fun and satisfying little touch to your videos. 😊
I totally missed that! Cute! 😄 Thx for pointing it out!
Shane dancing around the house like Pennywise, giggling like an idiot and Nick, your comments on it had me rolling 🤣.. as per usual
Speaking of babies, I saw one sitting in a cart at Walmart yesterday holding onto and eating an entire uncooked cob of corn and I just had to tell someone about it.
I would have loved to see that. Thank you for sharing!😂
I could actually see that
Random baby would do something frustrating and Shane would tell Ryland "that must be your one"
Shane and Ryland’s content babies don’t have a chance in hell to grow up in a mature and stable environment😢
The only way I hear about Shame is through commentary channels and I’m happy it’s that way
So, one kid gets a completely normal name, and the other one gets JETSON?! It's like they're planning ahead of time to have a least favorite kid.
All I can keep thinking is how they're super jumping the gun on *so much stuff*. Pregnancies have so many things that could go wrong and end poorly, there's a reason most people don't start shrieking at people they're going to have a baby *before the embryo's even implanted*.
This is the equivalent of a straight couple talking about their baby before they've even fucked.
Thank you for covering this because I never would have watched these updates on my own. I will never understand putting your *potential* future kids FULL LEGAL NAMES online, let alone before they're even born. Almost 2 month along fetuses already being milked for content is so frustrating & sad.
He wanted to name the kid "Beary"? Thats great for when he has to tell them "I'm Beary sorry for you being bullied in school"
I got an ad for Build-A-Bear right after that part 😭
We gotta as a community not let them vlog these babies faces, please promise me we won't let them
PINKY PROMISE
@@sapphicwitchx I pink promise too!
@@mayjailerxx 💜
I know exactly what’s gonna happen with these babies. Shane will get overwhelmed and stressed and just shut down, leaving his parter to do everything.
I’m so sorry for your loss. It wasn’t your fault and I’m sure your sister is watching over you with so much love 🩷
Very sorry for your loss and that you ever felt like it was your fault, it absolutely wasn't
@@ObtuseMori Thank you, I’m very slowly coming to terms with it not being my fault ❤️
@@sapphicwitchx Thank you, I’ve been struggling since I turned 19 this past January and I had no one to celebrate it with, but I know she’s watching over me.
@@dylsdesktop how did she pass? :(
i was today years old when i learned babies literally don’t drink water until they’re like a year old
same! you truly learn something everyday
i don't have babies, don't plan on having any and i'm nowhere near babies but one time i literally woke up in a cold sweat to feverishly google if babies can drink water and i was absolutely befuddled to find that they can't lol
Colleen Ballinger and Shane Dawson are in competition to be the most notorious YTuber on the FBI’s most wanted list 😂
who is allowing shane around children and who is allowing him to basically make his own 😭
My jaw dropped when you mentioned the astrological sign. These 🤡 don’t need to be caring for babies *any* time soon.
Its crazy to me that Shane is aloud to be a parent but he can't even dress like an adult.
Righttt??!! I can’t even process the idea of him being a dad of twins!😰Ryland, maybe, but not Shane the manchild
"You need a licence to buy a gun or own a dog, hell you need a licence to catch a fish. But they'll let any butt-reaming asshole be a father."
Keanu has never been so correct as when his quotes are applied to Shane Dawson.
@@rockcriedout7679 I’m pretty sure you don’t need a license to own a dog though. It yeah the point still stands
I think we all know who is going to be actually raising those children, and whose going to be undermining the partner raising the children.
Yikes, I feel like Shane isn’t even mature enough to change a baby diaper without making a joke about it 😳 scared for that baby.
"Molting like a goddamn garter snake"
I am DEAD
I am not religious by any means, but I pray for these kids
wont show his babies faces when they're born but will give the whole internet their full names...such a shane thing to do tbh
And birth dates. They're going to need 24/7 security.
I don’t even want to imagine how much there gonna shove the cameras in Max, and Jetsons faces
1:13 - 1:23 I'm so glad that you mentioned that you can't give babies water. I babysat for *YEARS* before learning - from social media and not the parents/guardians themselves - that it's harmful until a certain age. Yikes! 😬
1:18 being that girl, NEVER give babies just plain water.
Why did Ryland sound just like Cher during the 'BURBERRY BaBY SHOOOEEEES' part lmao
My heart is breaking for those future babies; they are NOT going to have easy lives with those two as parents (or maybe Shane & Ryland will step up & grow up when the babies are actually born).
“Can’t explain it- mama, I can’t even read it” TOOK ME OUT😂
The thought of Shane as a father is incredibly depressing. Two innocent children being subjected to his parenting and exploited from birth is horrifying. They need to pass laws to protect children from social media exploitation ASAP.
Edit: this is also an excellent argument for making surrogacy illegal
I see ur first point, but whats wrong w surrogacy?
Yeah I don’t get why you think surrogacy should be illegal??? Everything you said before that I agree with though lol
whats wrong with safe surrogacy lol
I’d sooner see family channels on RUclips being made illegal than safe surrogacy
What's wrong with surrogacy?
Shane and ryland becoming parents with a drinking problem and pill problem scares the shot outta me, that kids is gonna need a lot of therapy
Wait do they really have problems with their intake of alcohol/pills ? Or Am I taking this too seriously and you just meant like, it's giving the same irresponsible energy?
I just rewatched your first Shane video and the escalation of your visible distain for everything he does is HILARIOUS
I was born with a twin but she died at birth like twins is not always a happy ending. I genuinely shared the womb with my sister but ill never see her in this life and she never got to grow up. It traumatized both my parents but look at shane and ryland already buying everything for both babies with names labeled and everything. The privledge
9:00 "it's giving sewer clown on the day of its birthday party" I CHOKED, THE RESEMBLANCE AHAHAH (remind me to never drink again watching nick's videos as i will die choking on it because of how hard i'm laughing )
Today, on my baseless conspiracy theory podcast: the twins were originally named Doordash and Snacks
These babies are an accessory for them, nothing more. The fact they've shown themselves only wanting to shop - even before the embryos were implanted - tells me everything.
Babies don’t drink water because it’s dangerous for their systems. Breast milk is actually hydrating
Oh dang. Might skip on G2A in the future Nick. They aren't a super fab company. Some developers have flat out said that they would prefer if you would pirate their games rather than buy them from G2A.
Also is it just me or at 4:45 the volume gets much louder?
I can understand Nick not knowing about the G2A controversies. There is a really good RUclips video by the great James Stephanie Sterling titled "G2A Is So Bad Developers Would Rather You Pirate Their Games Than Buy From It"
Sewer clown had my dying 😂
