Thanks for letting me travel the world from my couch. And stay at unique places most will never get to see. You see, I got a 75 inch tv for this very reason. No airports, no USA stops, no chaos, just perfection. And my travel environment footprint is zero. I will add the non dialogue is perfect. Music awesome! Again, thanks! Happy travels!
Bhutan 🇧🇹 is so beautiful lovely country so peaceful and natural. I loved it ,someday I will visit.Thank you so much ,your video is great.God bless and peace grace 🙏🦋🌸💕
This was my favorite lodge! Definitely worthy of being the last stop. I loved the tones of the stone and wood. The “interruption” was very sweet and it put a smile on my face for the rest of the video. An acquaintance was in Bhutan a few months ago. Now, I wonder if he stayed at one of the lodges? I’ll have to look at his pictures. 🤔 Great video! 👏🏾
He had a video of a fire dance, and the location looked similar to the 1st lodge you showed us. He was there to brew beer with Namgay Artisanal Brewery , not there for a full vacation experience. Did you visit the local brewery?
Your video presentations are excellent, love the way you do the first impression. I recommend anyone who has a small resort or accommodation business review these videos. Give an incite into how well run resorts businesses operate.
If you just wanted to swim but didn't want any treatments, would they still charge you as the pool is part of the spa? Also, how much do these hotels charge for a treatment for I would be in heaven if I could afford it with the price of the suite or villa.........lol!!! Very nice video again, too! I love watching these after work to help me unwind, they're very relaxing!! Good work!!
Those hinges need some oil to smooth out the noise they make which constrasts with the serenity the place reflects. Otherwise, great place and awesome video.
Once in country, was it relatively easy to transit by land from one lodge to the other two Six Senses resorts? Or must one fly from one to the other hotels?
Am watching this and will watch your other Six Senses Bhutan reviews because I might be going to Bhutan in September and our group will stay at 4 of the 5 SS lodges. I'd like to know which airline did you fly and from which city did you fly to Paro? How was your flight into what is regarded as one of the most dangerous airports in the world? Looking at flight times from New Delhi, Bangkok, and Singapore, I'm inclined to fly from New Delhi because it is the shortest time in the air. Your thought? And thanks as always for the luxury travel experiences you bring us!
I see at the end of this clip you flew Bhutan Airlines from Paro to New Delhi. Flying to and Paro RT from New Delhi might be the best way for me coming from the East Coast of the US. And I meant "thoughts" above, not just "thought"; need all your thinking, not just "a" thought!
⛰️ Good hotel with Excellent foods and services 👍 . Very good swimming pool . This country has interesting people (4:40 - 6:12 - 7:40 - 8:00) . What is the name of these colored foods on the left ? (22:54) Are they delicious ? In my opinion, this country is like Seychelles but in the Himalayas (Unknown heaven, Cozy, Expensive) ⛰️ I loved this part of the video & music (19:10) 👍
Am I alone in wishing you would omit your impressions of the resort/hotel at the start of each vlog? To achieve the true guest experience I skip to your arrival and the subsequent tour of the surroundings. It's the same with a book or a film - I like to begin with no preconceived expectations. I love a surprise! Apart from that your vlogs are superb. Thank you.
Current quote is $2,100 a night for the cheapest room. I tried October 2020 & April 2021 on their website. I'd be interested to know how to get a room at $720. I'd be prepared to pay $720 a night but not $2,100!
This lodge seems more formal than the others. It is a good place making meditation.Did you taste all that meals? I guess you use the gym a lot 😁 Did you get upgraded with a low price? Really is very expensive to travelers.
Hi, Dr. LTE--I've been enjoying our vacation in Bhutan, although I'm a little out of breath :) I thought the hot water bottle was a nice cozy touch, but I wonder if anyone eats the apple amenities--lol. I think the price is well worth it--one of the most spectacular settings on Planet Earth!
720 US dollars to Six Senses and 200 US dollars just to visiting Bhutan.... yes - Bhutan is extensive to visit so when you are there - please go to the east of Bhutan, and it's all worth it. Just ask our host …. :-)
Ok, so this is jaw droppingly gorgeous. IMO I think this is my favorite thus far. Such a masculine structure and interior, kinda reminds me of an old yet modern compound where you would find Samurai and Ninjas hiding about in the rafters haha. I absolutely love anything Asian themed, so this is a definite win in my book! Wonderful wonderful job on this one. :)
In the spring of 2020, the Six Senses Network will first open a hotel in Israel (where I live) in a place called Shaharut, located in the desert. Hope you will visit us too.
Every time being asked have you tried/gone to some luxury services/places Me: No! seriously if I am your loyal viewer I am probably broke AF so I have to watch your video to have a glimpse of luxury instead of trying it myself lol(more like laugh in tears not lol).
You move like a god! I wish to continue to delight us with new discoveries in luxury hotels!
This place could only be appreciated by those who really value simple refinement. Lovely.

Yes, I did visit a local brewery, not in Thimphu but in Paro
Thank you, Doctor. These videos have been a wonderful experience for poster and viewer alike.
Thx for your kind comment

So incredible
Austere like a monastery.... Needs flowers!! 😃
Thank you! Bhutan is a special place
It is a mesmerizing country indeed
I will be there soon..can’t wait for it
As beautiful as it is, its sheer isolation and elevation is also a deterrent. Not for me but thank you for showing what may never be for some of us.
Man this place looks so quiet and relaxing. I miss your trip reports, those inspired me to make my own :)
Your video presentations are excellent, love the way you do the first impression. I recommend anyone who has a small resort or accommodation business review these videos. Give an incite into how well run resorts businesses operate.
Hi liked those views as always stunning !! especially at night with views of the village lights .also liked your music choice :) .

Once in country, was it relatively easy to transit by land from one lodge to the other two Six Senses resorts? Or must one fly from one to the other hotels?
It's very to get around. Six Senses arranges a 4WD with driver and guide. There's a review on my blog.
AMAZING 👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍
How far is Thimphu from Paro? do you need another flight for that? or you can take landtrip?
It’s around one to two hours by car
great place BUT GREAT REVIEW FROM YOU KEEP IT UP MAN

I received an upgrade. I had booked the lowest room category ($720 USD)
Is Spa, massage cost included in room rate?

The road leading up to the hotel wasn't even paved or asphalted
Six Senses have got the design of these Bhutan lodges just perfect.
I agrre :)
The music makes me think of what Thomas Newman would compose. Same type of feel.
He's one of my favorite film score composers

After watching this, I have a strange desire to go shopping at the nearest Pottery Barn.
Please visit Raichak on Ganges near Kolkata
What a lovely place to cleanse our body & soul 👌
