Oh my.....just seeing all your journals lined up was amazing. I want to come to your house and just sit and look though all those gorgeous pages. You are so talented and creative. Love your videos. :)
I love the Valuable Papers book. What a find! You decorated it so creatively. I agree that the designs and color groupings on the various currency notes are beautiful!
What fun--I searched a bit for some history on that black folio--did you find anything? I think my favorite part about this video is that gorgeous b-roll of your shelf FULL of completed journals with those beautifully stitched spines. W🤩W --soooooooo awesome 🤗
Thank you for sharing your books! I absolutely love your creative style. It is thoughtful, classic and restrained. You can see the amount of thought and care you have taken selecting the best ephemera for a page. I love learning from your examples. It is “training’ me to not rush through a project haphazardly placing ephemera wherever there is a spot.
Hungary - 1 Million Pengő 1946 unc portrait of LUCIA LENDVAY an average girl from Székesfehérvár. I'm always so inspired by your work, thank you so much.
I love your spines that look like Corsets! I bet the insides are beautiful too. You make glue books that are brilliant. In my mind, I’d just be glueing down pictures I wanted to keep. But not in any special order. Lol. Your pages make me want to stare at each piece slowly. And study everything. Just amazing. 11:39 was too fast!! Lol
I absolutely love your collages! I aspire to someday be able to put together spreads like these. I even love the one that wasn't your favorite! Thank you for sharing.
@@TheCrabbyCrafterlol nothing so glamorous! I was a heroin addict for 30 years before I met Jesus. It's a reminder that an ill-spent life leaves nothing of value behind except 'Skeletal Remains'. Now I'm an altered book/junk journal artist, wife, mother, and homeschooling grandma. Big change, lol. I do love all literature including Poe. My fav is the Tell Tale Heart. I use to read a lot of true crime but began to think the clerk at 7-11 looked a little suspicious, lol. Your name also sounds like it might have a story?
@@skeletalremains3860 Well-- GOOD for YOU on all counts--30 years of addiction and lived to tell about it. Amazing--now experiencing entirely different kinds of highs every day I would imagine. Awesome story. 💫 Mine's short and simply "always happy to give my take, always happy to be on the lake"-- 😉😎
You’ve wowed again! Liked the black “important paper” folio which is quite unique . What a find. You embellished it well.📖. Your presentations are inspiring. I look at stamps and currency differently now-as miniature masterpieces. TY.
I remember when I was younger our insurance salesman left a similar portfolio for my father to put his new insurance policy in. There were other blank envelopes to add other important papers: house deed, adoption papers, birthday certificate, marriage certificate, etc. FYI
I love this video.do you have a video on how you started a book and how to glue the pages together.i would love to see how you did it to make one.everyting you do is so beautiful ❤️.
I have a Book of Remembrance that has pages like that. The birthdates and also weddings and deaths are recorded on them. Some pages have pictures of my ancestors.
There was a vendor in an antique mall in Salt Lake City, that had a big box or currency. He was selling them for $1 a piece, which could be quite pricy, if you get a lot, like I did, but to me it was worth it. I could pick the ones I wanted, and there was quite a huge selection. I was happy with the purchase. You can also buy currency online, on Ebay, for example. I've gotten some there, too.
I want to make something like this with things from my parents -photos, stamps, documents and as I was watching I saw my family name at --1:51-- and lots of images from the San Francisco bay area - where I am from- it's as if this is the video that says to me "go for it"
Margarete, that is not a birth certificate: the Mormons all over have to collect their genealogy and family tree, and they have those special papers to put their family lineage on them. I have some that my cousin gave to me (she is a Mormon); the Temple in Salt Lake City has copies of all of the members of their church's genealogy papers.
The LDS church has a geneolgy library. That's where they keep history, not in the Temple. People of any religion can go there to research family histories.
Yours is the second glue book I have seen tonight it's really fantastic and so interesting to see. Thanks for sharing it
Beautiful! I love the way your work obviously fuels you imagination of how people have lived. Kind of like people watching of the past. ☺️

Miniature masterpieces, indeed! I'm glad you think so, too 👍💜.

Very nice. That last one was very interesting with the envelopes! Love what you did with it!!!!
Also I love the different bindings on your journals!
Thanks so much, Tonya! 😊
That black folio is interesting. I recently picked one up with plans to do something with it so it was nice to see your take on it.
Cool! I'm glad to know there are more of them out there! ❤️
Very cool ! Loved how you decorated both book. Great ephemera and I loved the currency notes as well. Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️❤️😊
Lovely, enjoyed this very much😊
So glad!
Have you ever done a video on how you organize your supplies ? If not would you. I struggle with this all the time.
Good idea, Julie! I'll add it to my list of videos in progress 👍 💜
Your collage is so pretty! Very inspiring!! TFS!!
You do such beautiful collaging - TYFS!! 💌 LOVE your journal shelf w/ all those gorgeously stitched spines!!

So lovely! I love the policy holder-I remember my parents use to have those
Love all the books on shelf -so cool 😍TFS
So gorgeous! Love your art! Beth
I absolutely love this!! Is there a way that you prepare your books ahead of time by removing pages first? Thank you!
Sometimes I do remove pages first, just to make it easier to work in. 💙
I have a Book of Remembrance that has pages like that. The birthdates and also weddings and deaths are recorded on them. Some pages have pictures of my ancestors.
That sounds like an amazing book, Jean!
Beautiful glue books! On the first one, how many pages did you glue together to make thicker pages?
I glued at least 3 pages together, and then tore out pages before and after.
May I ask where you found all of that foreign currency? I love it!

The library is wonderful, but it not where they keep their sacred records.
Do you ever write in your glue books?
Some people do, but I don't. I don;t know what to say.
I like your collages very much, but I had to mute, your voice and music competing with each other…not for me😔
