Arty players need like those in the 2nd game need to remember that artillery still have tracks on the bottom of their tanks. If your team all goes in one direction, use those tracks to remain behind them instead of just camping in your normal spot while displaying no situational awareness at all. Props to the one M40/43 who tried to do that.
I think its possible I'm one of the only people going against the general consensus of his new intro. In my humble opinion I don't like it. I much preferred the old one as It had variety and as chphi said the new one could be more cinematic. Focusing in on 1 tank just doesn't do it for me when WOTs has so much more diversity to offer. But hey just 1 mans opinion. Enjoy.
Hey Jingles, Thanks for featuring me in my Matilda, appreciate everything you do for WoT and all the videos you do. Say hi to Rita. Thanks from our platoon, Matt, Dave and Ron from across the Pond.
Jingles, maybe you should add a small line of text along the lines of "Jingles Cam" or something similar whenever you take control of the camera. That way you don't have to explain yourself every video where you do so.
It's not for my benefit, i am well aware of it happening and that its not an aimbot. This is merely an attempt to save Jingles the hassle of explaining it every time.
As someone who is new to Tanks but been playing Warships since the open beta, these videos are quite informative. Ground my way up to a Hetzer, with the distant goal of a Jagdpanzer E100, and these types of videos show me what's a good idea, what's a great idea, what's stupid but occasionally works, and what you should never do. Keep up the good work Jingles.
Gotta have some respect for the arty that stuck with the guys on the front line, took a bad situation and made the best of it, those other guys though..I really hope they get what's coming to em, they give good arty players a bad name.
Yeah, Jingles, that was the video that had me get me a Matilda, too. That was an EPIC video. On the artillery video 2, though those kids have a lot of QUIT in them.
Doesn't prevent people from being arseholes by pushing people out of cover, etc. Disabling teamdamage entirely is rather condescending from Wargaming, too, as if they don't trust consoleros to be able to NOT do teamdamage.
Steamrick alot of people who play wot on console are little kids or douche bags I would know they also have team voice chat. so it would make sense for them to not trust us.
face of insanity. They don't because 75% of the players are kids with daddies credit card. If you were there at the beginning it was the same as the PC. But like I said word spread and the kids came like a disease. The rest is history
The Littlejohn adapter was used to squeeze the skirt of apcr rounds and had to be removed to fire standard armor piercing rounds, The crew being somewhat reluctant to exit the vehicle during combat, they fired the apcr without the adapter and got good results. This speeded the issuance of apcr rounds for other vehicles.
It used to have an open turret, I forgot about the change too. And until the last patch the top speed was 18 km/h, it's possible that replay is from the previous WoT version.
T-10 is a good pusher. On the 0.8 test server, when WG introduced physics, we managed to get a T95 to about 25 km/h on flat ground with two T-10 (IS-8 back then) pushing.
Thats the world we live in i'm afraid, where hetzers grow up without a daddy hetzer to show them the way of the hetz and they end up firing AP, it brings a tear to the eye
Those arties in the second game are the classic example of the worst type of players in the game. Instead of making the best out of the team's poor positioning, they fire upon their teammates to get the game to end quicker. I really hope they get a permaban. As an arty player myself if your team lemming trains to one side of the map, you should join them in the frontlines. You may not get much dmg but you will be in the safety of your team and shotgun enemy tanks when opportunity presents itself.
I remember that 10 v 1 Matilda video. At one point there was so much smoke around the Matilda from shots bouncing off it you couldn't actually see it. Awesome stuff. Makes you rush out and buy a Matilda. Then you play your first match at bottom tier...
Why? Because he insulted cheesy broken, game wrecking arty? I quit the game over arty, I like heavy tanks and fucking WG makes heavies a big target. Did you watch the battle? Why is that arty is faster than 75% of the mediums in the game? With a big gun that can one shot a heavy? REMOVE ARTY FROM THE GAME.
You know, while I dislike artillery, it doesn't mean that players need to get banned over them. And instead of insult people for having an opinion by saying they have a disorder with socialization. In fact, and i'm not saying you have it, you are airing that trait a lot more than Sebbonx is. Instead of say people have a mental disorder, perhaps you should actually back up what you say with facts.
2nd replay was legit they should have recognised that the reason the team didn't go there was because it's a weak position for their tanks in comparison to what the enemy team have. Arty's reason is that they were to lazy to adapt to the different circumstances, because their pubby brain tells them to cover the entire map to win and not realise that map control doesn't work that way
1st match: Freaking Awesome! 2nd match: (Sigh~) I would've preferred that being first. That was just depressing. Yes Jingles, we both need some cheering up after that s***. 3rd match: Wow. Those two beat all of them. Interesting results.
Actually, Jingles, there's no such thing as a reason for being a dick. Dickish behaviour by default is unreasonable. Therefore dicks can only have excuses, but not reasons :P
I like how too often kids and the like get "Excuses" & "Reasons" mixed up to be sure, but mostly *'Excuse or Reason' vs Justifications.* You can have a reason without it being reasonable, and make excuses without it being excusable. *The issue is if a choice is Justified or not.*
It can in fact make the action justifiable: if someone is threatening to kill you and your family so you ruin his day by killing him. Kids these days are so linear and not able to think for themselves.
That's called self-defense, and is not a dick move. That's responding to someone's unreasonable actions with reasonable actions. It is unreasonable to respond to unreasonable action with more unreasonable action. Unreasonable action in this case would be letting that guy murder you. Spiting someone because they did something you didn't particularly approve of like going somewhere not beneficial to you is indeed a dick move.
Christian Skipper Lower tier are like that. But you get super unicorn players that act like that... so... So it is pretty much like that. But you can mute everyone. I mute anyone who talks, or I sit in a party. Only time they get annoying is when you don't use what you have in your hands.
Turn the voice char down in the options or just mute your entire team during the countdown at the start of the game, any yeah i would say there are more potatoes on console but that makes it easier for competant players, lile myself, to do well
Arty seems to attract the biggest scumbags. Also the team all went that way because that flank is largely arty safe and there a re 5 enemy arty, playing middle with 5 arty is pointless, especially in slow tanks like Super Ps. Artillery players should remember they are team support vehicles, they are supposed to support the team, not the other way round, the team is not just there to allow arty to play.
Pointless? You just wasted your firepower if going middle is pointless. Team support tank indeed and he need support from a person who can spot the tank in the middle, but where in the hell Arty going to be finding those shot in the South? Exactly.
While I agree with most of that, artillery is a support role and not the other way 'round.... the rest of their team must have known that if they drive south, 1/3 of their team is rendered virtually useless. That drastically cuts their firepower and makes it almost impossible to win. I'm with Jingles here- they had a reason to be mad- doesn't excuse the bullshit they pulled, but they certainly had a reason.
Arties shouldn't be that mobile. They should have the same siege mode as the new Swedish TD's. 5 seconds to lower the plow behind the tank to be able to shoot. That ridge shotgunning was broken as hell.
Oreo Saurus That was a lucky shot, true. But arty shouldn't be that mobile. And even without that shot his friend would have hit anyways. I'm not talking about accuracy. I'm talking about mobility. Arties don't need to move that fast or hit lights driving 60kmh infront of them.
why shouldnt arty be mobile? If they were designed on a mobile chassis, they should be able to move fast. Case and point with the GW panther. They did nerf its mobility a lot out of 8.6, and it makes no sense. the GW was an idea for using the outdated panther chassis. All they would do is strip the extra plates of armor, gun, turret, etc, and slap an artillery cannon to it. None of this would involve downgrading the tracks or removing the engine or transmission. All the other gear pulled out would mean that generally an arty conversion often ends up a similar weight if not lighter. So in these cases they should be mobile. I believe the m53/55 is on a patton chassis, so again, there is no reason why it shouldnt be mobile. Even fully aimed at near point blank range its just as likely arty will miss their shot due to rng, these guys got really lucky.
So not only do you want arty to be inaccurate and in most case get slaughtered you want them to be even worse by adding another 5 seconds before moving...
By the way Jingles the Germans made several different squeeze bore antitank guns. They were basically the grown up version of the Littlejohn adapter. They used them until the supply of tungsten was depleted so much that they couldn't waste it on making shells for antitank guns (the tungsten core is surrounded by a softer metal which is swaged down as it goes down the barrel and the bore diameter reduces).
Is it me or is Jingles discriminating more and more be favoring "known" RUclipsrs rather than Joe Average lately? All I have seen lately is Kazna, Circon, Circon's clan buddies you name it... I'd rather see Joe Average having an awesome game than a Unicum that we know is capable of pulling off a nice game.
The problem here is that a Joe Average is way less likely to have an amazing game than an unicum. I bet Jingles gets sent literally hundreds of replays a month, most of which undoubtedly are by Joe Averages, and probably are titled with "amazing game" or something to that effect. But what constitutes "amazing" to the player who sent that replay might not fit the criteria of the people who want to see World of Tanks gameplay on RUclips. It's far safer to just pick replays sent in by the established "good players" because a good player deeming a replay worth sending means that it has to be entertaining, and Jingles wants his viewers to be entertained, obviously. Jingles only has a limited amount of time to gather enough material and edit these videos, so it's understandable that he would choose good players' replays in order to save time. But I do have to mention that the Matilda replay was definitely driven by your average player. He made many mistakes that a good player wouldn't ever make.
Quite agreed, I've submitted some amazing replays to him*Declared amazing by other people, not me*, and nadda... Not to mention he never puts up replays higher than Tier VIII anymore it seems either.
Interestingly enough, the little john adapter found here on the Matilda was also present on the Tetrarch's gun, but not in the version of it found in the game. For some reason or another, some tankers didn't like it and removed it asap, despite it's being a cheap and easy way of producing the additional velocity that the german's created with specialized, Gehrlich-principle weapons that fired specialized, hard-to-manufacture, flanged rounds instead of standard ammunition. Although most of the German attention to squeeze-bore weapons was in small anti-tank guns, a few of them find their way into the game as the "Koenisch" guns seen in the experimental regions of the German tech-tree.
ʝ αℊ⋒αr123987ჯ what you dont see if the other fuck knows how many shots that missed. for every one shot arty does they completely and utterly miss fully aimed shot 20 or 30 time. That is the reason they are broken. nothing else.
2 replays that show that artillery is completely broken. In the first one a platoon of M53' , scout doesn't even spot one of them at 150 m (yeah scouts are in game to balance arty aren't they). Second ... a M40 TK's a T26E4 for full health. Does he turn blue for it ? OF COURSE NOT. Why ? Because some moron in WG decided that artillery needs to do a way bigger amount of team damage to turn blue. And what is the reason behind ? So that they don't get kicked out for killing an enemy target + the friendly tank brawling with the "target", allowing artillery to team kill players that were in the wrong spot at the wrong moment.
I would rather have a arty to help win the game then to listen to your whining about artillery being broken. He is your gun and you are his eyes. I have never encounter this type of behavior in world of tank with artillery shooting the back on their team but there are assholes in every MMO there is. I think the extra damage to turn blue will be likely dues to team player not paying any attention to Arty targeting warning command, you can be a Fv 304 and rub against a tank just to be troll while pushing them to turn blue by ramming themselves into their allies target. But when you have lemming trains all going to the south of that map, you screw over the arty to be helping supporting the middle hill and defend the south flank. Just calm the hell down.
+Beneluxmodels Not entirely true. I've seen people with heavy tanks shooting each other, one fired 2-3 shots into the other, while the other turned blue basically at the first return shot. So it's not because they are arties as you claim... Also I think the range and "aim mode" also matters. Try shotgunning a friendly heavy from the back, you'll turn blue right away. :P
Arty doesn't get a big pool of team damage if you are turning blue for small amounts it's because you are doing team damage all the time. Maybe he does more enemy damage the he every did in team damage. The system is the same for everybody.
So MrDman, are you dismissing all complaints about artillery as just "whining"? Beautiful rhetoric fam. I think his complaints are valid, and he presented them in a clear and concise manner. No need to "calm the hell down", as you put it. No one is raging to begin with.
"The Hetzer has a 75mm gun with 11omm of penetration." No, the Hetzer has a 105mm gun with 53mm of penetration with HE because that's the only gun that anyone ever uses on it. Same with the Stug, M4, Panzer 4H, the Swedish TDs and a couple of others I can't remember. Mid tier howitzer spam is one of the things that drove me away from WoT.
Who the hell thought it would be a good idea to allow artillery to do 2k+ damage if they get lucky with a direct hit. RNG makes the game feel more like a casino than an arcade tank game. Which to be honest it is, and would be changed if it were not for the fact that people pay money to skip to high tier artillery and spend credits/ premium account, to fund this dice roll mini game. The fact this game promotes esports is a bad joke and is definitely funded by wargaming to make it appear skill based, when in reality its about 1/3 on performance comes down to skill.
+LordThunder Yes, wonderful work by them,.....given it was abundantly clear what an appalling mechanic arty was in beta in 2010 which everyone duly commented on in every forum ever existing. 7 years and still not addressed. Woohoo, major achievement by WG. LOL
they simply let arty use the same mechanics as any normal tank. They didnt do anything specific to enforce the idea of one shotting tanks. Its the same reason why they saw nothing wrong with giving ap and heat shells to them, because they treated them like any other tank. Sandbox is working on arty, and it looks promising. Of course if you're a "remove all arty cuz they make me sad" kind of person you'll never be happy.
Fun fact: Littlejohn adaptor is actually based on work of the Czechoslovakian engineer Karel Janeček, who worked on the squeeze-bore principle during the 1930's. His son, František Karel Janeček, then brought the know-how into Britain and the adaptor was based on his father's work. The name is then derived from the literal translation of Janeček name's - "Janeček" is diminutive form of Czech common name "Jan", and since "Jan" is translated into English as John, the diminutive form is simply "Little John". And as I'm both Czech and named Jan, the Littlejohn adaptor gives me a good patriotic feeling :3
correction, AW shows us why SPGs are a good unit to have for Team Support when done right, with fixes to AI Bots being needed. WoT shows why you need to put MM caps on specialty type units.
Better leave it on and just permaban all the scumbags who intentionally teamkills. That way you also end up sanitising your game from the toxic arseholes who would otherwise find some other way to be toxic arseholes.
Then comes the question of how do you define intentionally teamkilling? I've personally had unlucky shots that fell poorly and hit and killed friendly tanks. Not to mention, the splash of SPGs can be hard to judge when you are trying to account for shell travel, predicting where the enemy is going to be, trying to counter the horrendous aim circle and aim time, and waiting for your reload. And I do recognize, and believe players like that M40 in the second replay deserve serious repercussions for their stupidity, a blanket ban for 'Intentional' teamkills just cannot work.
I had a great match in my Luchs where my platoon was the only platoon to get any kills. Turned out to be 11 kills for me alone. Gotta love it when you have those games where everything is coming up Millhouse.
Last replay reminded me a bit of one of my games in the KV-1. At the time, the NA server was doing platoon missions, where, if you're driving a certain type of tank (in this case, heavies) and get a certain number of wins in a platoon, you get free reserves. So I tended to send dynamic invites at the start of all my heavy tank games, because you know, why not? Anyway, one of the two guys I had platooned (the Excelsior) with did 700 dmg and got 4 kills. I did 2500 dmg and got 9 kills (one of the hardest carries I've ever done, but it was at tier 5, so not exactly the most impressive). The last guy (KV-1S) drove out in the open, fired three shots, penned one, and then died with no kills and 170 dmg... My first, and only, Crucial Contribution, and one of us got no kills.
That third man in the platoon. I know how his platoon mates feel. I once fed a guy a Kolobanovs by crashing my light tank by accident at 100 cap points... the guy did 0 damage...
The second replay is one of the reasons I play the console version. Friendly fire is permanently disabled. There is TK but you have to push a friendly tank off a cliff or force the tank to drown. Otherwise you cannot kill any friendlies.
When i had my hetzer I always kept a few HEAT rounds that I kept exclusively for use against matilda platoons :P (they dont like to be one shot, they expect to seal club)

As I'm an arty player, I always LOVE arty replays. Those M53/M55... That "scout" in the middle, using an unarmored arty... Balls of steel, dude. You have my respect. About the 2nd part, on Fjords map... WoT rule #1 (since ever): DON'T SHOOT GREENS!!! > : ( I have 93% battles on arties, but, if you know math, I have 7% playing other things... like the Matilda!!! Love it, when it's top tier!!!
Last clip kinda reminds me of the time when i was a noob in guildwars and other max level guildies used to carry me through elite dungeons, missions and places that a noob shouldnt be lol
When my friend first played wot. We played a 3 man platoon at tier 5. Between us we got 13 kills and got a crucial contribution. My friend got a crucial contribution in his first game
The LittleJohn Adapter is also known as a "squeeze-bore" and there were also several German versions of this kind of weapon, though all of them were built from scratch as this kind of gun, not a modified obsolete 2-pdr (40mm) anti-tank/tank gun. The projectiles were all APCR-type rounds (tungsten/wolfram-carbide sub-caliber penetrator), but the jacket was specially made to be crushable and end up as a long tail behind the penetrator when the round exits the barrel at the narrow muzzle diameter, being full-40mm-size in the breech. Barrel wear was bad, though, which is why it was an "emergency" anti-tank design, especially by the Germans who had no small anti-tank guns that could work against the larger Russian tanks later in WWII. The British used it due to having a lot of now-completely-obsolete 2-pdr anti-tank/tank guns in the middle and end of WWII and not having the manufacturing base to make enough new 75mm-and-up anti-tank guns, so they reasoned that making a tiny hole works with a HEAT round, so why not do it with solid shot too? It worked, being much like a pre-WWII Boys 20mm anti-tank rifle with MUCH greater penetration.
I am watching from my perch in war thunder's hangar. I enjoyed wot in the past but I am just taking a break. Anyways, I am glad to see that wot hasn't changed too much in the last while(still has jerks, artsy cancer, and broken mm) but if Those were all fixed than it just wouldn't be fun. We have grown more attached to these annoyances than one would think and when they are gone we will feel like something is missing
so basically the last game which jingles shows is exactly what happens when Jingles teams up with quickybaby and circon. Quickybaby and Circon being the T40 and Matilda and Jingles being the pz IV D
I love my Matilda. Any time it's top tier I get a huge smile across my face because I know what's coming. I'm still grinding my way up the higher trees at the moment but it's always fun to come back to the Matilda. Also great for racking up coins and free XP quickly
"It's a Tier-4, the Hetzer driver probably hasn't played enough games to know you should load HE with a howitzer" And yet I have played several games where KV-2 drivers with the 152mm gun are using AP shells. And when I ask what on earth is wrong with them, they replied "that's the default loadout, and the game devs wouldn't have programmed it that way if it wasn't the superior load out". I actually had a game where I was using the KV-2 with the 152mm gun and another KV-2 on my team asked me how I was making the gun penetrate every shot.
I am absolutely FRIGG'N FLABBERGASETD by your commentary in this and hereby nominate you for the Vin Scully award for the best sports commentator of the yer award!
That reminds me of when I got a crucial in my Centurion 7/1, platooned up with 2 other people from my clan, one was in the IS-8 which is now the T-10, and the the other was in the IS-7... basically the guy in the IS-7 did 1.4k damage then died almost right away, however me and the other guy in the IS-8 held off the entire east flank on live oaks from 13 enemy tanks, inculding a WTPzE100, which was replaced by the Grille 15... 2 tier 9 tanks, with 2 tier 8 artys supporting, defended the flank alone, and pushed while defending it a bit, and won. I got 9 kills, the other guy in the IS-8 got 3, 4k+ damage each. so we fed out platoon mate a crucial, and it was really funny because we we were a tier lower then him XD
Lol the jagdpanzer IV at tier VI, when stock, has the same 75 with 110 avg damage and avg penetration as the hetzer has. So that is why I can't seem to do jack in that thing.
Arty players need like those in the 2nd game need to remember that artillery still have tracks on the bottom of their tanks. If your team all goes in one direction, use those tracks to remain behind them instead of just camping in your normal spot while displaying no situational awareness at all. Instablaster.
Great point, totally agree.
New intro looking good 👍
Yea just cut could be more cinematic, but i like it.
I think its possible I'm one of the only people going against the general consensus of his new intro. In my humble opinion I don't like it. Well I prefer old one.
No there are two of us ;-P
Didn't take long for the trolls to turn up.
Hey Jingles, Thanks for featuring me in my Matilda, appreciate everything you do for WoT and all the videos you do. Say hi to Rita. Thanks from our platoon, Matt, Dave and Ron from across the Pond.
Arty platoon in circ clan.. Blasphemy !
Those are the only two guys allowed to play arty, I hear they let them play only very late at night so they don't embarrass the clan.
Circon will have them eat their own beards. Although he occassionaly plays them too while eating during streaming.
True, but he plays the russian ones afaik. Those are exempt due to high derpiness factor. Not like these yank traitors.
while eating hahahahaha
Jingles, maybe you should add a small line of text along the lines of "Jingles Cam" or something similar whenever you take control of the camera. That way you don't have to explain yourself every video where you do so.
Why, can't you see when the camera is moved by the replay viewer, it's kinda obvious?
Playnot Because people will think they used aimbot. And yes, people are that stupid
It's not for my benefit, i am well aware of it happening and that its not an aimbot. This is merely an attempt to save Jingles the hassle of explaining it every time.
Playnot Never underestimate the Internet
Seems like in this case, it's overestimate.
As someone who is new to Tanks but been playing Warships since the open beta, these videos are quite informative. cmon jingles. you post this literally the minute i leave my wifi
RIP your wallet
Just got home after a major operation - feeling sorry for myself. Watch Jingles - All's well with the world again:)
Like a surgical operation or military operation?
Yeah, Jingles, that was the video that had me get me a Matilda, too. That was an EPIC video.

+Steamrick They had team damage on during the console beta. Lets just say there is a reason they turned it off.

t28 prot is NOT open topt, and can do 28 km/h
David Snoek yep
got buff with traverse speed
But i dont give a crap, sold the shit long ago
It used to have an open turret, I forgot about the change too. And until the last patch the top speed was 18 km/h, it's possible that replay is from the previous WoT version.
thats right
David Snoek it can do 28 while its rolling downhill with a 3 man platoon of t54s pushing him...that thing cant hit even close to 25
T-10 is a good pusher. On the 0.8 test server, when WG introduced physics, we managed to get a T95 to about 25 km/h on flat ground with two T-10 (IS-8 back then) pushing.
Think the Hetzer in the final clip forgot entirely how to Hetz...
Thats the world we live in i'm afraid, where hetzers grow up without a daddy hetzer to show them the way of the hetz and they end up firing AP, it brings a tear to the eye
Casually refreshes page
Looks through the videos
*Notices new video from Jingles*
Grabs the popcorn
the dance of the flaming arseholes??? must be a navy thing^^
Skiving off school just to watch some jingles videos worth it 😁😁 Thank you I love the good bad and the ugly they are so funny

what! why didnt youtube notify me about jingles grr
Toby Harris Notification Squad !
love the series. best of all. pls don't stop doing this Mr. Jingles. you're awesome.
The internet says that if you are this early you get a reply from our gnomish overlord
"If it's on the internet, then it must be true" -Isaac Newton, 2016
vinniecent007 am aware of this, thanks for pointing it out though, not all of us try to be cool by swearing on the internet to random people...
Stryker Gryphus absolutely
That Guy go bitch somewhere else
That Guy You must brace yourself of getting hate replies while doing this.
Because what you did is annoying.
I remember that 10 v 1 Matilda video. At one point there was so much smoke around the Matilda from shots bouncing off it you couldn't actually see it. Awesome stuff. Makes you rush out and buy a Matilda. Then you play your first match at bottom tier...

all of the damned pigs deserve a ban
i hope all fucking artys get that

Go ahead say it "we don't care you quit." You seen the NA server numbers? Yea WG has, and it SUCKS, you can thank a big portion on game wrecking arty.
You know, while I dislike artillery, it doesn't mean that players need to get banned over them. And instead of insult people for having an opinion by saying they have a disorder with socialization. In fact, and i'm not saying you have it, you are airing that trait a lot more than Sebbonx is.
I like how too often kids and the like get "Excuses" & "Reasons" mixed up to be sure, but mostly *'Excuse or Reason' vs Justifications.*
You can have a reason without it being reasonable, and make excuses without it being excusable.
That first vid was one of the best arty vids I've ever seen featured on any channel
This is why Console WoT is better. no team damage, and no cancerous team chat
Ronnoc Nosnevets but it's full of kids though. Team chat over Squeekers all day
Christian Skipper Lower tier are like that. But you get super unicorn players that act like that... so...
So it is pretty much like that. But you can mute everyone. I mute anyone who talks, or I sit in a party. Only time they get annoying is when you don't use what you have in your hands.
Christian Skipper You can mute the squeakers :)
Turn the voice char down in the options or just mute your entire team during the countdown at the start of the game, any yeah i would say there are more potatoes on console but that makes it easier for competant players, lile myself, to do well
Thanks for the advice been playing along time though. Learnt how to mute ppl on MW2
I've been watching since 50k, so glad to see your channel grow!
Arty seems to attract the biggest scumbags. Also the team all went that way because that flank is largely arty safe and there a re 5 enemy arty, playing middle with 5 arty is pointless, especially in slow tanks like Super Ps. Artillery players should remember they are team support vehicles, they are supposed to support the team, not the other way round, the team is not just there to allow arty to play.
yh all their tanks are slow, the only medium whcih is classified as support is also a ravioli, which needs to support tanks
I liked your courtroom analogy in the second replay. keep up the good work.
Arties shouldn't be that mobile. They should have the same siege mode as the new Swedish TD's. 5 seconds to lower the plow behind the tank to be able to shoot. That ridge shotgunning was broken as hell.
Stubbari *pulls a one in a million shot* ARTY IS BROKEN *doesnt pull a one in a million shot that couldve saved your game* ARTY NOOB
Even fully aimed at near point blank range its just as likely arty will miss their shot due to rng, these guys got really lucky.
newman8r45 What's that huge plow behind M53? Yeah, I thought so. 5 seconds to lower/raise that or you are super inaccurate.
So not only do you want arty to be inaccurate and in most case get slaughtered you want them to be even worse by adding another 5 seconds before moving...
By the way Jingles the Germans made several different squeeze bore antitank guns. They were basically the grown up version of the Littlejohn adapter. They used them until the supply of tungsten was depleted so much that they couldn't waste it on making shells for antitank guns (the tungsten core is surrounded by a softer metal which is swaged down as it goes down the barrel and the bore diameter reduces).
m2hmghb the gun on the VK 2801 right?
Is it me or is Jingles discriminating more and more be favoring "known" RUclipsrs rather than Joe Average lately? All I have seen lately is Kazna, Circon, Circon's clan buddies you name it...
I'd rather see Joe Average having an awesome game than a Unicum that we know is capable of pulling off a nice game.
Agreed.
Even though the first replay was of a pair of TIX...
The Nordic Stag, did you not watch the video? The last game was a platoon of tier 4s fool.
Although most of the German attention to squeeze-bore weapons was in small anti-tank guns, a few of them find their way into the game as the "Koenisch" guns seen in the experimental regions of the German tech-tree.
yeah arty is so not accurate at all, mhh 38 km/h in a city and I got 1 shotted by tier 8 frenchy cancer
ʝ αℊ⋒αr123987ჯ what you dont see if the other fuck knows how many shots that missed. for every one shot arty does they completely and utterly miss fully aimed shot 20 or 30 time. That is the reason they are broken. nothing else.
And that they can one shot everything if they get lucky
Da Komrade! So can every other tank. infact i get ammo racked FAR more than i get one shotted by arty.
well actually he hit every shell he shot, I think it was 8 shots
ʝ αℊ⋒αr123987ჯ artillery has the best rng on city maps, if u ever play artillery u would know this 😉
Watching this while in school is the best thing ever
Watch the replay again...300m
+Beneluxmodels
Not entirely true.

Yes, wonderful work by them,.....given it was abundantly clear what an appalling mechanic arty was in beta in 2010 which everyone duly commented on in every forum ever existing.
Which is why arty needs to be removed. Seriously.
Wrong. AW showed that.
correction, AW shows us why SPGs are a good unit to have for Team Support when done right, with fixes to AI Bots being needed.
WoT shows why you need to put MM caps on specialty type units.
No, this is why team damage needs to be disabled on pc. They did it for console, don't see any good reason why it should stick around on pc.
And I do recognize, and believe players like that M40 in the second replay deserve serious repercussions for their stupidity, a blanket ban for 'Intentional' teamkills just cannot work.
love the new intro
My first, and only, Crucial Contribution, and one of us got no kills.
whenever i play arty and i see its a lemming train i follow them im not gonna tk or act like rambo holding a flank on my own
Nice to see a Matilda Jingles, one of me favourites in the game and always my warm up tank!!!
That third man in the platoon. I know how his platoon mates feel. I once fed a guy a Kolobanovs by crashing my light tank by accident at 100 cap points... the guy did 0 damage...
The first clip is one of the best I have ever seen
Thank you Jingles for another great vid
Reload in my Matilda is down to 1.77 secs, but now it's only ever in matches where I am bottom tier and 14 or 15th in team list
Thanks for the videos, Jingles!
The second replay is one of the reasons I play the console version. Friendly fire is permanently disabled. There is TK but you have to push a friendly tank off a cliff or force the tank to drown. Otherwise you cannot kill any friendlies.
I just finally grinded and got the kv 2's 152mm gun, can i pls get a break now?
Jingles is the best play-by-play man in the business.
Yay, still awake in NZ to see this first thing in the morning
When i had my hetzer I always kept a few HEAT rounds that I kept exclusively for use against matilda platoons :P (they dont like to be one shot, they expect to seal club)
As I'm an arty player, I always LOVE arty replays.
Those M53/M55... That "scout" in the middle, using an unarmored arty... Balls of steel, dude. You have my respect.
About the 2nd part, on Fjords map... WoT rule #1 (since ever): DON'T SHOOT GREENS!!! > : (
I have 93% battles on arties, but, if you know math, I have 7% playing other things... like the Matilda!!! Love it, when it's top tier!!!
Last clip kinda reminds me of the time when i was a noob in guildwars and other max level guildies used to carry me through elite dungeons, missions and places that a noob shouldnt be lol
Love the new Intro Jingles!
Always a pleasure hearing your commentary.. lol..
New intro is definitely a step up from your last. Good work.
From 1 to 52 im done with the Good the Bad and the Ugly hahaha Thanks for a good series Jingles!
Evelyn Gravatt 53 has come >:D
Well Jingles, if I had been artillery in that situation, with the team doing this, I would've done exactly the same thing
20:09 And this is what it was like when Jingles used to join Quickybaby's livestreams.
You thoughts on not being a jerk were wonderful, sir; good man.
good to see you again jingles
I am watching from my perch in war thunder's hangar. I enjoyed wot in the past but I am just taking a break. Anyways, I am glad to see that wot hasn't changed too much in the last while(still has jerks, artsy cancer, and broken mm) but if Those were all fixed than it just wouldn't be fun. We have grown more attached to these annoyances than one would think and when they are gone we will feel like something is missing
Love this! Flatline is my husband, MAC is his best friend! Thank you for posting :)
great show as usual,thank you.
Well jingles, if I had been artillery in that situation with the team doing this, I would have probably done exactly the same thing
so basically the last game which jingles shows is exactly what happens when Jingles teams up with quickybaby and circon.
Quickybaby and Circon being the T40 and Matilda and Jingles being the pz IV D
Well Jingles if I had been artillery in that situation with a team doin this I would ahve probably done the same thing! Jingles?? JINGLESSSSSSS!!!
When you have nothing better to do then just spam the refresh button on google and wait for a Jingles video!
that arty m53/66 is AWESOME!!
Jingles the mountain pass Matilda game was in the tier 1-4 category of your 100K sub contest.
Love the new intro.
Almost 4am at West Coast, saw Jingles posted a vid.
I think sleep can wait :D
loved that arty replay, hilarious
T-34 I have is at 1.9 sec reload. It shreds the enemy when they aren't looking. And with 189 premium pen it can do well against tier 7 using dpm.
The BAD, I agree with you so full heartedly. EXACTLY, in this game and in life as well!
Love the series
That you very much jingles I was bored out of my mind... And not asleep at 4:30....
Loved the non-scumbag artillery gameplay.
I actually had a game where I was using the KV-2 with the 152mm gun and another KV-2 on my team asked me how I was making the gun penetrate every shot.
ive been in so many battles like the second replay as an arty (and i dont play arty often). ive never teamkilled or anything or even thought about it.
Every time I see anyone driving the DW2 I just want to give them a hug and after that slap them for even trying to play that thing.
I am absolutely FRIGG'N FLABBERGASETD by your commentary in this and hereby nominate you for the Vin Scully award for the best sports commentator of the yer award!
the m53/55 is the best artillery piece in the game. it outplays tier 10 artillery as well
227 damage and a crucial contribution. That is one lucky such and such.
Indeed Jingles: NO bloody team-killing ! (might happen veryyy few times by accident)
THANK YOU! I've always said "A reason isn't an excuse." I'm glad our Gnomish Overlord agrees.
thanks for shortening the intro jingles. it did my fookin head in lol
