I find this common in these newer budget startup brands trying to build a reputation & become an influencer style brand. Instead of them genuinely having a great product for a great price they try to buy their reputation. I use headphones & earbuds daily for years & I can tell you the brand Soundcore is genuinely one of the best price to performance for audio available right now
Raycon is universally known to have a subpar sound quality compared to other options out there. You can even buy _branded_ stuff that's better for the same price. Not to mention off brand earbuds like soundcore that you mentioned. Raycon shouldn't cost more than 15$
They suffer in comparison to the old model. They changed the sound they make when actions are performed, a harsh bink replaced a pleasant bonk. The old ones had buttons, you knew when it was pushed and double or triple tapping performed the functions intended. New ones take two or three tries to skip a track with that obnoxious bink telling you you paused it instead, or it screaming at you that ANC is on or off. Even the new case isnt an improvement except in battery life. Need a silicone case where the old one eas sturdy enough without it, and there's no lanyard hole in the case itself anymore.
My wife got me a pair for Christmas and they were great. Until I left them in my shorts when I came home from the gym and went through the wash. Tried drying them out but only one works. Oh well.
I had the older version of these and they seem to have disappeared, so I just ordered the new 2024 version (also in blue). Hopefully I don’t have the same connectivity issue you are having.
I have some Raycon headphones and every once in awhile they lock up. Won't do anything, like turn off, or connect. I found plugging them into the USB cable resets everything.
I have air pods because I’m lucky at the moment but I’ve had the old ones and they were okay. I liked them for listening to music but not anything else. I’m glad they updated them. The his is a decent option if you don’t have better headphones and can’t afford them.
SL, I have another brand of Bluetooth earbuds and when I have this issue I just turn airplane mode for a few seconds and turn it off. It solves the issue every time for me. But I agree, it sucks.
Sorry not for me.... I'm a 80's kid... give me my over the cuff Bose headphones.. expensive... yes! but well worth the rich sound quality... Earbuds are not good for the ears... the vibration in the ear canal shakes the eardrum... I find them uncomfortable.... but that's just me
yeah thats great until you try to play basketball, or run around a field for soccer practice, or go for a jog and it disconnects from your audio socket and falls off your head.
the build quality of these is junk. the 2 halves are different sizes, and it creates a sharp edge all the way around the earbuds. the gels are hard, and the earbuds are bigger than the originals. they missed the mark big time.
A likely story! What did you do, you broke it (joking)! Speaking of, I just found my own ear buds in the wash, one works the other doesnt. I hate when stuff like that happens its like losing 1 glove (better to lose both)
These are so much worse than the old Raycons I got like 6 years ago. They don’t have real buttons, so I’ll often try to pause or play, only to have it change the volume. And when I resume a video, it plays muted for half a second. This means that I miss out on hearing like 3 or 4 words of a video sometimes. Returning these.
@sopronunciareglignocchi7255 I gotten as far as giving them my emailf for Paypal to get a refund but I havent gotten the money or email telling me when this has been going on for 6 months I want my 160€ back

I think Raycon sounds better than Soundcore
We can always count on you for an honest review, SL. Thank you for that! 👍

Bro them getting rid of the buttons made me so upset when I started using them

So hard to find honest reviews on products like these. Amazing job!
I need to make a follow-up video because I had problems with both of them and cannot recommend this product to anyone.
Disconnect from phone the reconnect and it will work
E25 was great, so after few years and it got worn out, I bought this...and disappointment...

The problem I always have is the microphone not being worth anything for phone calls.

Those earbuds, including the wireless charging case, are $79.99 at Amazon.
I just got a new set. I find them hard to take out of the case. Too slick
well depends on the value of the USD for us Danes its moves all over the place one day alright next day not alright
Good video I love your videos

I'm not even a 80s kid and I need my over the ear. 😂
They got those too but I do think you should go with a different company for over ear

Well I have the Air Pod Pro 2

I bought a set of these, too. They sound like two AM Radios against my ears. Horrible sound. Sending them back.

Don’t use noise cancelling or earbuds outside, it makes you an easier target for violence as you can’t hear them coming up behind you….😮
Funny that's what happened to me 4 years ago. I still have the bloody ear buds and want to get them put into acrylic

BTW it's a lovely 120 degrees here in Vegas....🥵
a tough luck review
Hi there, great review, just my experience anything that has the words smart or con in its name l stay away from....
I like earphones.
yes you do, goran. Yes you do
How can it be an honest review when you earn commission off it?
He doesn’t say ONLY good stuff and does mention issues he experiences with his pair. That’s as honest a review as you can get.
They suck. The volume restriction is ridiculous.
I think raycon is overrated..
There support is the worst
They won't respond to any of my emails.
@sopronunciareglignocchi7255 I gotten as far as giving them my emailf for Paypal to get a refund but I havent gotten the money or email telling me when this has been going on for 6 months I want my 160€ back
I do not use earbuds.
