NationalElevator These were the first ones I got to ride. But the Bonaventure down in LA were like my first glass elevator playground... My Uncle Roy let me run wild in that place for a couple hours while he was working on some air conditioning across the way at World Trade Center. I suppose now days a 7-year-old left alone in downtown LA for that long would be considered wrong. I'm glad I got to grow up when I did...
I still don't understand why San Francisco is considered Super Bowl City when the stadium is down here in Santa Clara. This is a nice Kruppy mod. Those circular impulse lanterns are cool! I have only seen them a couple of times before.
+Floridian Elevators I actually don;t know if they are getting modded, it looks like ThyssenKrupp just maintains these and has replaced a few things when needed. They did add their voice. The brailles on the COP look like ThyssenKrupp, and might have been replaced, which originally threw me off a bit thinking the COPs were replaced. They have not been.
These were the first glass elevators I ever rode on as a little kid!! Fantastic!! Thanks for the upload.
+Dana Danarosana No prob dude. Expect some more memorabilia in the near future. (:

Not much considering I'm a 90's kid, but I feel.

this hotel was use in the movie high anxiety and those elevators were use in the towering inferno.
Grandma voice!
Definitely John Portman architecture right there if I'm not mistaken (for sure the same architect who did the Hyatt in Atlanta).
Yes same as Hyatt in Atlanta. The tile work on the floors are his designs as well.
