I found it kinda backwards even getting their terms and conditions to display properly on their website - in my browser (Firefox) when i mouse over their info icon it shows a link in a floating window, when i try to move to the link, the floating window disappears so i cant click it! LOL 😀 Anyway, when I finally read through the T's & C's it seems like the first option makes Rumble your 'Agent', meaning they are managing the content for you - for a period of 50 YEARS! Which applies even if you delete your content from their platform. Once you agree to that licensing model, you are stuck with it for 50 years (and it automatically renews every 50 years unless you notify them in writing 90 days before the renewal date 🙂) I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad thing - if they are doing a good job and you make money and get paid without hassles in a timely manner, then I don't really see it as a problem. But just be aware - if you upload content under that license, you wont be doing anything else with it, anywhere else, yourself, basically forever. (Ok, 50 years, but that's almost forever 🙂)
We definitely need to delve deeper into the ownership of the content we're sharing once we select certain options. But for now, this was a great basics into how Rumble works. Cheers.
I can tell you the answer to your question. Once you sign away rights it's forever. I'm a professional writer and I have been signing away rights on some of my work for over 10 years. I get an upfront payment and that's it. I do have some that I make passive income from but that's a different arrangement.
except questions like does Rumble rights continue if you delete the video etc. It was a good try but these are MAJOR issues that IMO a content creator would need to know before uploading. What if I upload an original piece of music? Do they claim publishing forever on that? All kinds of questions that I would need to answer before uploading anything other than "made for rumble" videos.
The Video Management sounds like the best option, it's more fair that you did the hard work ex: Music Video & Rumble takes it to there contacts & the Heavy load is off your shoulders! Sounds great to me☺
So, you said nothing about syncing. Other creators have mentioned how you can download onto RUclips and then RUclips will sync with Rumble to download your video there. How does that work, and what are your rights when this is done?
Thank you. Just uploaded and chose 3 because I Livestream multiple places and then I'm like oh crap what if I screwed up🤣 so this video assured me that I did not. Appreciate you!
OMG!!! Thank you🤣🤣🤣 I was looking at those options for 20 minutes and reading the description below them and was completely lost. I now have a much better understanding
I found out the hard way of picking the wrong license but I’m still confused. I picked the Video Managemenr license excluding RUclips. Well I’ve decided I wanted to delete some of these videos and I’m not allowed to, but some of them I can and it’s the same license. 1.) I’m not happy I don’t have control of my content. 2.) i’m extremely confused why some can be deleted and some can’t when listed under the same license. I feel like the Rumble only is the best option, you get paid less but at least you have full control of your content. Now the videos I want deleted will forever be out there.
Thanks for sharing your experience even though I'm sorry to hear it, that's really odd! Have you tried reaching out to Rumble? I've tried before but received no response. Hoping others have some luck.
Hi, appreciate you explaining that. I do have a question though...the last one #4, the "non searchable," what is that? does that mean no one can search for my video in the search engine? That's how I'm taking it...?? Thanks in advance!!
There is one thing I do know for sure. If you choose the non monetize feature for your video, Rumble will delete it after a certain period of time. I know this because I used this feature on two of my videos and they deleted both of them after only a few months. I also know that the keep your rights monetize feature won't earn you very many views even if you try to promote your videos. I've had my videos on the air for a couple of weeks now and they have been viewed very few times.
Your presentation was the best I have seen. Do you have a video on where to look for a company that can be hired to be a personal consultant to a new (serious) Rumbler.
Great video! This was really helpful. I like the 3rd option too. But still researching. So which license did you choose? Or anyone care to share their Rumble experience?

I have an active RUclips channel, I recently created a new Rumble account with my RUclips account and i connected my RUclips channel to rumbel account Which option do you recommend for me when i uploading a video to Rumble? I created a rumble account to earn money🙏 Thanks for nice information 👍 ❤
RUclips might be biased when it comes to politics, although in my experience they only feed me content from channels I regularly watch. However, they definitely pay for videos I upload - BUT RUMBLE DON'T. I have over 9600 videos on RUclips and I've been on since July 2017. Once I was monetized (twice as they changed the rules) I was being paid for advertising. The advertising for the same content uploaded to Rumble has NEVER BEEN PAID. The only way I received anything from them at all was when I won a rumble contest and the amount earned went above the threshold value. I contacted Rumble about this and asked why they were not paying anything, even the Rumble contest wins and they never got back to me. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND RUMBLE as they only care about the major content creators with millions of subscribers.
From what gleaned if you upload a video to youtube and then to rumble while assigning video management they can claim the video and monetize it on youtube. AKA 2 for one and also (i could be wrong mind you) if you are not monetized on YT as Rumble surely is all your videos become monetized. Seems like a win win if not monetized on YT to automatically gain monetization without needing the watch hours or subs as Rumble already did the heavy lifting. I am attempting to use rumble (option 4) And just leave a link on my podcast notes area for listeners to view it but the audio is extracted and is presented as a podcast on Apple and all the others. I'm not interested in the monetization, but what I don't like about option 4 is you really don't exist ha ha ha
@@David-jh9mo Thanks Dave. That seems to make sense. I would l ike to be monetized, but I still want to be free to post my videos on youtube on my channel. I will start eventually, but it would help if they made this a bit clearer. Also, I don't understand why they would not focus mainly on promoting the videos that they have greater ownership over. Therefore, I imagine that people who aren't choosing the most favourable option for them, would be far less likely to be promoted - which is fair enough as they are a business. Thanks and best regards. Matt
According to Rumble’s licensing comparison page, there is no mention of an expiration date for the Exclusive Video Management license . However, according to a blog post by Moondog Industries, if you choose either Option #1 or #2, you are agreeing to give Rumble management rights to your video for up to 50 years If you take down your video, it will no longer be available on Rumble’s platform. However, according to Rumble’s FAQ page, videos submitted under the Exclusive Video Management license and the Video Management (excluding RUclips) license cannot be deleted .

@@deliberatevideo Thanks so much for the quick reply! I've read through their FAQ's. I've heard other RUclipsrs say that their search engine is not very good and that RUclips has the best. I think that's why it's so hard to find things on Rumble and RUclipsrs get frustrated with it, because we're used to the best search engine (Google). While you're at it... I was just reminded of one more question I've got for you. I just tried to upload one of my videos and it reminded me of why I haven't tried to upload anymore to there, besides the problems I told you. I always get the message "Video upload failed cannot parse response" and you have to try several times to even upload a short video. Have you run into this problem and what does it mean?
@@deliberatevideo Ooooh, I just thought of one more topic for you. When the Rumble app fails to upload your video, do you have to babysit it and keep trying over and over until it finally does upload or will the app keep trying in the background and you can leave the app and check back later? I’ll let you know if it uploads in the background, because after almost 10 tries (only a 26 second video over Wi-Fi; RUclips always works), I’ve given up and I’m going to check it later.
@@deliberatevideo Well, I replied to your question, but it's not showing up. I said that the videos I upload are regular mp4s that I produce in Lumafusion. I went on to tell you how great Lumafusion is, but I won't get into that, again, since RUclips discarded my comment after I tried to edit it and it gave me an error on the edit. I've tried both horizontal/widescreen and vertical/short type videos. I never NOT had a problem trying to upload from the Rumble app. I haven't tried my computer, because Lumafusion is on my iPhone. If you want to hear about how I edit with the iPhone, let me know, I don't want to get into all that again, if you don't want to hear it. I even updated the Rumble app, today, and I still can't upload. I think I had to try over and over for almost an hour the first and only video I uploaded a couple of months ago that was less than a minute long and only about 150 mb.
If you license it out to them they MIGHT put it on their channel. Check out @rumbledotcom to see the kind of stuff they usually post, and read their terms for yourself for more clarity!
If I take my video and make a number of edits to the video , for example 5 different video names and a few other minor edits , can I upload it 5 different times to Rumble ? Or 3 time to Rumble, and 2 times to RUclips ?
Alright ! I have a question that I select the first option while uploading a video I mean (Video Management) but still I got no views while the other people upload some videos in one day they got thousands views .. Now I am confused how they got a bundle of views even they upload two or three days ago.. And I am the one who got 2 views in 2 weeks ...
how you chose if you do not know ? if you give all rights to rumble you are screwed ... never pick option 1 . at least whit option 2 you can still get something from youtube if rumble ban you . option 3 you have all the rights but you gain less money i think .

@@EddieWitness I haven't had a failed upload before... do you know what file type it was? I used widescreen MP4 files, this video was one of them.
Maam which benefits option local in rumble i just see him
Does rumble upload Ur video on their own RUclips channel or how does it work
If you license it out to them they MIGHT put it on their channel. Check out @rumbledotcom to see the kind of stuff they usually post, and read their terms for yourself for more clarity!

Thanks. This helped me big time 🤜🏾
It says I'm getting views and ads are filled but I'm not making any money. It never asked me to approve any ads. Any idea what's wrong?
