      Staedtler triplus fineliners! I have 36 colours and love them. I'm also enjoying Tombow brush tips, my Uni-ball Signo white and gold gel pens, silver and gold paint pens, and getting into watercolour pencils (Jasart).

  • @theellieepic

    One of my essentials is definitely the crayola supertips because there are SO many different colours, which is so nice. Fineliners in different sizes is also very nice to have.

      I only got the supertips recently but am so excited to try them out more ☺️

    I personally really love the dual-tip Zebra Mildliners, most of them are really pretty and muted, and they're perfect for adding just a little bit of color to a spread.
    (also, what lipstick are you wearing? It's so pretty!)

    • @PlantBasedBride
      @PlantBasedBride  5 лет назад +2

      I’ve never tried them, though they’re sold at my local art supply store. I might have to pick a couple up to try!
      And thank you ☺️ it’s colour pop lipstick in gallop (in their newer lipstick formula in the rose gold tubes). I love colour pop since they’re cruelty free, have a bunch of vegan options, and are so affordable!

    I love the pilot G2 pens I have used the uniball gel pens as well and I like them but the pilot pens dry quicker so they are my go to. I also use a lot of washi tape and found that Michaels has a bin at the value section at the front of the store where I can find washi for 3 for a dollar.

    • @PlantBasedBride
      @PlantBasedBride  5 лет назад +1

      I really need to take a trip to Michaels! My local one is pretty far from me by transit but I also love me some cute washi tape 😂

    Great video!! My absolute favorite everyday writing pen is the Muji gel pen in size 0.38mm and it's definitely my number one essential for my bujo! I highly recommend it if you like fine point gel pens. I also really like the Micron PN because it has a more durable nib than the other one. My other essentials would have to be a 6 inch ruler, Bic mini white out tape, Elmers Craft Bond repositionnable glue stick, a pencil and the Pentel white eraser and Tombows for adding color. The Zebra Mildliners and Uni Propus pastel highlighters are great, too.

    • @PlantBasedBride
      @PlantBasedBride  5 лет назад +1

      I’ve heard such good things about muji pens but have never seen them sold in stores! I’d love to get my hands on them. I’m also getting so many recommendations for the Sakura micron PN so I’ll definitely be trying that one out, too!

    Yaaaaaaaas queen! I love this video 💜 I mostly use gel pens for everyday writing and the trusty Microns for setting up my spreads. Also I love using watercolors and papers to make my spreads different, although with washitape I don't mess 😅 dunno why but I feel overwhelmed if I saw the page saturated with colors and textures

    • @PlantBasedBride
      @PlantBasedBride  5 лет назад +1

      Thank you! ❤️☺️ haha yeah I don’t use washi tape much but I do have a few rolls. It’s so pretty but I always forget to incorporate it into my spreads!

    I know I'm late to the party, but I love your videos, and you're one of my biggest burus (bujo guru - I'm trying to make it a thing), so I figured I'd join the convo. My absolute essentials are also an A5 dot grid journal (I'm using a Lemome eco-friendly cork one), a pencil, and a black fineliner (currently obsessed with my Faber-Castell 0.1), and the same white Uni-ball Signo you use! I usually would prefer my correction tape, but I've discovered that the width of the tape is the same as the dot grid spacing... But for erasing the pencil, I LOVE my Maped Zenoa round white eraser. I find it much easier to control with much better surface area than any standard rectangular eraser. The hard plastic case houses and protects the eraser while giving me a rigid, sizeable grip when using it...and it does a good, clean job too!! It's basically my secret weapon.
    No preferences yet about colors, but I do have a set of Tombows, Zebra mildliners, and Crayola supertips. They seem to be pretty common "essentials", and the Crayolas are definitely budget-friendly!

    If you like the Micron pens try the PN its not a felt tip and I love them. I also love the gelly roll gel pen but im impatient and it tends to smear for me lol I want to try the Slicci. My must have are different pens (im a pen hoarder lol) my brush pens and my fountain pen. My dot grid notebook (currently Sterivwell) washi tape, scrapbook paper a tape runner and a correction tape runner

      I’ve had a few recommendations for the micron PN! I can’t wait to try it out ☺️ I also would love to get into fountain pens. Any recommendations for a beginner?

    Hi! You have the Pilot G2 in 07 so it'll be thinner than the Gelly Roll. I've only every seen that size or size 05 in stores, but you can get thinner sizes online.

    • @PlantBasedBride
      @PlantBasedBride  5 лет назад

      Haha yes I realized after I filmed the video that it said 07 on it and that was clearly the tip size 😂

    *Hi @Plant Based Bride*
    I was wondering when you make your Husbands bujo books...do you also include a listing of his EDC (everyday carry items) reminder spread ?? I have to list my everyday carry items in my bujo...so i don't forget it.

  • @emersonjakes8119
    @emersonjakes8119 5 лет назад

    One thing to know about the Pilot G-2 is that the ink is NOT waterproof, which means coloring near the lines with water based markers will cause smudging. Also, I have a huge fear of spilling water on my spreads, which has happened before. I know the Gelly Rolls are waterproof, but don't write as smoothly in smaller sizes and get clogged if you don't write with them frequently.

    • @PlantBasedBride
      @PlantBasedBride  5 лет назад

      Thank you for this! I’ve only used it for writing in dailies so far but I’ll make sure to continue to avoid using it near tombows/watercolours ☺️

    I have to have stickers for planning, especially puffy stickers so my bujo gets thicc hahaha. I also love printing photos cause i use it more as a journal than planner so tombow dual sided tape is my fav😍 i really like gold gel pens and watercolours especially finetec metallic paints.. Just so much stuff i love.. stationery addict😂

    Love this (as always!). I've kind of become a colored pen/marker addict and now am struggling to determine which I carry with me to work everyday as my pencil case is now far too small. I've been looking for good everyday black pens so this was helpful.
    Question: do you tend to buy all these online or is there a shop you tend to find them/buy them from? I live in northern Ohio, so I know we're in different countries, but I tend to find a lot of similar shops in my region of the US and your region of Canada. :)

    • @PlantBasedBride
      @PlantBasedBride  5 лет назад +1

      Thank you! I usually buy in store at either Curry’s Art Supply or Midocco, though sometimes I’ll grab something online if I can’t find it in Toronto!

    just a small correction in the video: a6 is half the size of an a5, so it is smaller. a4 would be double the size of an a5 (though i think it would be a bit too big for bullet journaling!!!). great video, i'm a huge fan of the small tombow lettering pens as well as the crayola supertips for my journal!
