Facts Played Demos souls remastered a Bit but quit because it was to hard in December i started elden Ring and it changed everything Its so good im at radagon/eldenbeast Right now and as soon as im done i wanna play ng+ or ds1-3

There's a video essay talking about how Dark Souls is like an allegory for depression. Fighting the same battles every day, dying so many times, and getting worse the longer they go on.
Yet they keep on fighting. Keep getting back up. They won't quit. No matter how hard the fight, how impossible it may seem, they refuse to quit. Just cause you take a stumble here and there, even if things seem unfair, keep knocking you down, overwhelming you, it doesn't mean that you have lost. It doesn't mean you're a failure.
No matter how hopeless everything is, how meaningless your efforts appears to be, as long as you don't quit, as long as you don't give up, learn from your mistakes, improve on yourself... You will win in the end.

I love how much you're enjoying Godrick's theme. It's one of my favorites because it's straight up a horror waltz. I can just picture a pair of dancers spinning around each other with psycho-lookin' smiles on their faces while this music plays, and the dance hall's got the same vibes as Volcano Manor where everything's red and there's just death everywhere. It's such a perfect fit for Godrick, too. A delusional old man who sees himself as some kind of hotshot monarch despite how much he and his castle are all kinds of messed up with all the grafting he's done.
Oh shit, didn't expect this, appreciate it man! If you do decide to play it be aware that you could spend up to a few hundred hours on this game. I sure did.

What I love about this game’s ost is that there are Soo many FUCKING BANGERS!
That so many people can have their own favorites!
My personal fav is Godrick the Grafted. It makes me smile like a madman when I hear it.
There’s just too many for me to have a favorite, but if you really made me go down to it, I’d say it’s a 3 way tie between Godrick, Fortisax, and Godfrey, but Mohg, the final battle, Rennala, Regal Ancestor, and Godskins are all real close!
Elden Ring was my first souls game, and I can honestly say that was the best game for me to start with.
My expectations for games skyrocketed when I played Elden. The music, the graphics, the difficulty. Everything.
Now I know not many games will ever come close to Elden, I’m excited to see what FromSoft does with their future games.

the only thing you can argue with is the story which is subjective, and bosses, which looking at now, are not as good because they don't have nearly the same amount of variety and mechanics ER bosses have.

Elden ring/dark souls lore isn’t really told to you directly, you get context clues and bits and pieces that you put together. There’s plenty of missing pieces and stuff left up to interpretation so a lot of the lore is theory’s presented by the community.
Smoughtown has a more of a deeper lore dive into elden ring too, vaati is great for beginners

Elden Ring (among the other soulsborne games) are really good games if you like a challenge and like to see personal growth/progression.
Since you like delving deep into picking apart lore and story, I think you'll truly enjoy Soulsborne/Elden Ring, as there's a lot of great lore that's left up to the player to uncover.

This ost is great! But my opinion is that Dark Souls 3 takes the cake for best overall ost (blood borne at a close 2nd) you should definitely give them a listen at some point!

@@skyofwar123 id say that is certainly due to how many bosses there are. My top 5 for Eldena ring would be Godrick the Grafted, Godskin Apostles, Mogh Lord of Blood, Lichdragon Fortisax, and Final Battle. And then compared to my top 5 for ds3 Dragonslayers Armor, Nameless king, Abyss Watchers, Yhorm the giant, Soul of Cinder. I would simply prefer to listen to that DS3 crew. And even while writing my list of sings I struggled to make the top 5 for ER while for DS3 I struggled to not put like 7 songs in the top five (Vordt and Twin princes in particular) and of course that is ignoring DLC. Its my taste and I just think I'm a massive fan of this style of boss theme rather than Elden Ring's
If you liked Elden Ring's music you should definitely check out dark souls 3 or bloodborne's music, they arguably have a better catalogue than elden ring

@@BlacklistedSoupIn my opinion it is. I've heard criticisms before that some of them are a bit samey, and whilst yes they like to use similar instruments in most pieces, I really don't care. The grand spectacle feeling you get from all those tracks with the horns and violins is perfect for Ds3, and brings shivers every time. To each their own, but I think Yuka Kitamura does an oustanding job for Ds3.

@saggxnoah1979 But it has issues that elden ring tracks don't really have. The use of digital instruments makes it sound really messy and like a cluster of notes. Aldrich theme is a prime example of that. I only like it because it actually fits with Aldrich's character, and It makes the Moonlight Butterfly motif even more disturbing.
