There are so many weird things about EG. MLP characters with a more Human colouring do look a lot better and more natural than the EG style.

It's not so much the skin colour, as it is her anatomy.
Her pony incarnation is so skinny that you can see her bones, but her human counterpart is your typical fat grandma.
That's why I like this Anime concept in the background, it's more consistent in regards to her pony incarnation's anatomy.
Just Look at Bulk Biceps, could you imagine if he WASN'T built like a tank in EG? It'd look weird.
