I always die on theese bushes when playing tag with my friend in beamng, and I just laugh and continue. They are part of the game that will probably be updated, but right now I love them for the unknown surprises they hold
Beamng has the exact opposite of most games, where most allow you to crash through lamppost amd even adult tree's in some case's. Beamng does not allow you to go through them 60% of the time lol. Also didnt know beamng had a speedrunning catagory, neat! And cute character you used with the expressions :P
Yep, thats just how it works, but I gotta say - I do love that sprinkle of realism. Yep, speedrunning community is small, but still, I suggest you watch my previous video if you haven't :) Thank you, this character is really cute and based on "pop-cat" meme :P
Dashing through the bushes can be dicy but. I fell like with the right amount of accuracy it is possible to drive though them without crashing or rolling over. We can even use bushes fo our advantage if we line ourselves correctly and use bush to make a jump
Yep! Quite a small community... YET! But very fun and competitive! You can check my previous video for more info about speedrunning in this game :D And yeah... those bushes destroy runs!
They shoud make the environment like in spintires, would completely change the realizm of the game, because it it literally still the same for a long time and it sucks because there is no interactivity, if it had working mud, trees, busches, rocks it would help the entire game
Oh yeah, that's would be so great! Sadly, I suspect it is not a priority as of yet, but, I do hope it will become at some point! And we will see it in all it's greatness! :)
@@SamuelTally True, but I wish it wasnt so "all or nothing". Like instead of touching a small vine with your tire destroying your car, the wheel takes some medium amount of damage because its not a immobile steel beam
One day I've been doing a heist in GTA Online, and was bullied by such steel bushes constantly, every single minute that I spend behind the wheel. And just when i thought that I can now jump to BeamNG Drive, and have some relaxing offroad experience - the same steel bush just followed Me into another game. That was both hillarious and devastating 🫠
i will forever hide in the dunes of johnson valley
Good choice and maybe, sometimes, go to GridMap for fun :P
We need wood like this IRL - It'd be a heck of a building material! (if one manages to cut it lmao)
I mean we have "steel trees" irl, sadly, even those are not as durable as those bushes :D
At this point I subconsciously avoid the bushes and usually can tell which is a steel bush or not, it I could not tell you what the difference is lol.
Same! But when those are on the skip - that's a whole different story :P
And i wondered why the bushes would always demolish my cars
Yep, same here! Also I wonder if this will ever get fixed or not :D
Commentary in support, as well as promotion of the channel. Keep it up!
Thank you :) Will do!
High-quality videos but only 317 subs? You deserve more!
Trying to grow, but it's going slow :) Thank you for the kind words!
Bush here, bush there and every single one can destroy a vehicle! :) Are you scared of those?
No! We are aware and will try our best to use it for our advantage

Yeah, those are pretty fun! Although, sometimes, a bit frustrating, especially during speedruning :)
Take a shortcut in the desert. Trip.
Exactly, haha :)

You mean 100%?
I have 🌳 nightmares
Everyone does :P
"Cousin, let's go -bowling- speedrun BeamNG"

Oh yeah! For sure! Some bushes have a "square" base and no collision on top! So it can work as a makeshift trampoline! :)
Didn't know people speed ran Beam LoL Faced these little critters many times in free roam.

lol I do NOT like the steel bushes in ECUSA... so many... nightmare fuel
True! But at least some of the maps doesn't seem to have them, or in very reduced amounts! :)
@ tru. Maybe ECUSA could use an update. In the town there’s a grabby steel tree that I don’t like… maybe I’ll have to show ya
@@PlanetXtreme i already hate it just by your explanation! :P At some point all maps will be updated, but it will not happen soon, sadly
Wow, those bushes are indeed painful! Great video!
Indeed they are, haha, but at least speedrunners trying to fight em! Thank you! :3
Now imagine discovering a sneaky trampouline bush for your next WR, you'll be against of its removal :D
Tbf, with how much problems those make - I would love them to get removed! So many records was destroyed by them D:
beam ng shoudl defintely reconsider and make the bushes actually destructable
Yep, I do expect this small problem to be removed eventually, but I suspect it is not on first priority.
This video is amazing!
Thank you! :3
i call them force field bushes
I mean: pretty much thats what those are :D One mistake, one slight tap of the wheel and you go flying!
They know how to create destructible cars, not a destructible map lol
I think eventually we gonna have fully destructible maps, just not yet :P
@@MoltenMetalMayhem I know, maybe a few years later.
I love this. Thanks for sharing

omg was Starbound OST used here? (peak music)
Yes! I did include it in description, exceptional OST :)
Personally, i like beamng’s bushes. It would be boring if there weren’t consequences for careless driving.
Its a lot more fun to play cops and robbers or infection on jungle rock island than gridmap

True, but still, a tiny bush like that can't really harm a vehicle much... unless you loose control ofc after "hitting" it :D
Super!
Thanks!
Awesome video also!
Thanks!

I guess it's a problem in big number of games! :)
