i heard about the failure to feed happening sometimes when using the 12rd magazines. Same thing happened to me a few times with the 12rd mag never with the 15rd mag. If that does happen all you need to do is push the slide back forward with your thumb and it will fire. I was using blazer 115 grain ammo.

I love my Tp9 sc. When my wife shoots this gun sometimes the slide doesn't go forward all the way. It has to do with the grip and because the frame is small and the slide is chunky sometimes my wife will have those malfunctions. But the gun is great. Just switch the belt tabs on the holster ans it is an inside waistband holster, and it is a 3.6" barrel. Canik has a 200 round break-in period. Use 147 weight ammo to break it in.
Hey Yoke...guess what? You were right about the ammo those century arms Caniks Turkish guns uses Nato specs which only means it's desinged for higher loads like 124 gr and higher. That's why it jammed up.
I had the same issue with my full size canik,I called century arms they send me a lighter recoiled spring for lighter loads works great with 115 grains and other loads

That first misfire looked like a failure to go into battery it’s a common thing with newer guns during a break in due to tight tolerances I had the same issue with federal 124gr with my tp9sf
I got the same tp9sc. I've heard of break in periods and after about 500 rounds it's been my most accurate. Also the caniks are supposed to be rated for 124 grains
i have the TP9 SC Elite (regular) too and straight out the box she did the same thing… jammed a couple times but after i went through about 20 rounds she’s never jammed again. by far my favorite carey pistol i got. def don’t look as fine carrying it as u do tho 😅😂😂
I have the TP9 Elite SC ! One thing that's very true straight out the box it's a very accurate gun it was my EDC until they came out withe the METE MC9 cuz it's more concealable & smaller like a Hellcat which I find to be a MC it's very SNAPPY but that MC 9 has a heavy top end which makes the recoil minimal! Canik did not make ai mistake when they introduced the sub compact & the Micro Compact hands DOWN!💪💪💪💪💪💪👍

Smaller guns usually jam up at first. It’s usually the spring. I would keep the slide locked back overnight and try it again!
Yes most of them have a "break in period" usually around 200 rounds

Also if you plan on shooting it, it’s designed to shoot 124 grain bullets but if you shoot 115 grain you might want to change the spring

I've found the TP9sc seems to prefer the 124gr and higher ammunition. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with mine.

I have a this same gun (different finish) and I run 115 gr through mine and I haven't had a problem with it in the year or so I've had it...
I did hear about that I gotta try some 115 gr in mine ..I prefer 124 gr anyway but it's harder to find in my area...🤷♂️🙄

Per the Honest Outlaw videos, he also had malfunctions with non-Nato loads and Canik told him that the guns are calibrated to use Nato (+P) loads.
I've seen Canik and Walther slides/lowers being interchangeable.
