i have seen in the book, in case of up sampling I-1 zero are also added even after the last term of x(n) but you have not did so. which one is correct?
I know its a bit to early to answer this but think about the fundamentals of Upsampling and you will have the answer. So, basically, upsampling example here used increased the sampling rate by two, so twice the number of samples compared to original signal. So without adding a zero at the end you wont get 8 samples so yes you will have to add another zero after the last sample to get a total of 8 samples (twice compared to original signal).
