I took one of the best ever expenssive carbon and a good plastic to compare. I dove down to 14m and then swam a streight line along the bottom of the sea. Shifting from plastic to carbon 6 times. The results where very surprising! No difference! Very similar finel distances. Carbon or plastic are the same thing when it comes to fins. I say Dont buy anything expensive. It will not take you any further or deeper
I got myself a pair of modular Cressi Impulse plastic fins, I've been happy with the so far (my pb dynamic is only 75m) I would love to get a pair of nice carbon fins, but until I can do 125m dynamic comfortably, I don't really think it is necessary. Thank you for another great video
@@dianadeluna2335 I tried on a cressi its have a very convenient footpocket. But I didn't dive with them. Сressi will cost around $ 150 I think. It might make sense to buy carbon. Anyway, sooner or later you will need to buy carbon) I bought "Hydara carbon twill" fins with Leaderfins footpockets ) Everything cost me $ 290
I bought a pair Mares Razor Pro fins. I used them first time and then went and bought a second pair. I think.they are great fins at a great.price. I wont.need to buy anything else
Hi! How much performance difference in percentage would you estimate is between fiberglass and carbon fins? Would you say you really feel the difference when using them in the water? Because i know plastic to fiber glass is a big jump, but not so sure on fiber glass to carbon fins.
Hi! For serious beginner free diver, Is it better to have Plastic fins first for training then shift to Carbon fiber fins later? Or can we go buy immediately to Carbon fiber fins and get used to it? Thanks! Hope you can reply.
I dont have any decent fins in my contri is very dificult to have a decent fins. I love apnea but my fins are for snorquel and only have 50cm long. dont laught please.😥

Hey, I'm thinking on getting those cressi ones, I'm a beginner, are they comfortable? Or do you have any comments on?
Thank you for the input.
I agree with you, you can dramatically improve your technique with the current fins!
I never used myself, but heard good reviews!

Hi Sergei, i’m a beginner and my fins are Cressi Modular Impulse
Hi! How long are you using them?
@@KAIZENFREEDIVING about two months
Nice insert shots 😝👍🏻
Thank you!
Thanks my brother
You are welcome!
I bought plastic scorpena apnea f1 fins, good variant as I think because they are cheap and I can change blades whenever I want.
Yep, this is a nice option!
I think the biggest difference is the load.. after a long dive my knees hurt with plastic they don't hurt with carbon
I agree with you! With the plastic fins (as well as stiff carbon fins) I think it is a good idea to decrease the amptitude of the kick

Yes, it's a good fins!

Carbon are the softest. But also different carbons have different stiffness.
Strange compare criteria. U have to swim underwater and see which fin takes you further. Thats all!
Im using. Diver R inegra carbon . Short version 70 cm. (Red ones) medium Also c4 mustang medium. Pockets with cordons Im spearfisherman….
Why did you prefer the short fins?
More convenient to travel?
Using blacktech - ice(fiberglass) with pathos fireblade foot pocket
Are you using socks with "pathos"? Its a bit too wide for me...
@@KAIZENFREEDIVING yes. Im using sock and i custom mould the footpocket using hair dryer for a perfect fit
Im using C4 indian with C4 400 footpocket
I never tried C4, but heard that they are good one!
Please do cressi gara impulse modular review
Good idea! Lets see if I can get them

If money not an issue, then sure, go for carbon fins! Just keep in mind that they are more fragile and you need to be more careful with them :)
@@KAIZENFREEDIVING Thanks for the reply!
Could you get a beginner to try both fins and share if they feel any difference?
Good idea!
Would you suggest the best carbon fins with smooth foot pockets for bare feet.
Unfortunatly I couldnt...it will depends on your feet shape. For example for me, "pathos" foot pocket is uncomfortable, though a lot of people like it
SEAC PLASTIC FINS BUT I WAS THINKING OF BUYING CARBON FINS.............
using Gara 2000
Do you like them?
@@KAIZENFREEDIVING it's nice so far, I want to replace it with carbon, but it's a bit expensive
A BIG DIFFERENCE IN PRICE
Oh yes, agree
